Maybe. Maybe not. There's little question whether things are moving forward or not.
I agree fully. No way a guy like Thompson jumps into an agreement like this without doing his DD thoroughly.
And a good opinion it is.

There will be plenty more opportunities. This will be a bumpy ride for many months to come.
Busted through .11 way to easy. Could see a free fall to .085
That's standard safe harbor language that is posted after just about every PR every company in the United States has ever made since 1934.
If you bought this stock a year ago, and hid under a rock and just ignored the daily ups and downs, you'd be sitting on a 10 bagger today.
That's my strategy. Done the DD, feel very confident that the team will execute, and just ignore all the day to day market going ons. We're down from 14 to around 11 over the last week and a half. Means nothing if it's at 35 in 6 months.
And that is why myself, and a couple others, challenged Ed so quickly. Edward said he made 7 cents on the fact that Manshoon told him in an e-mail a couple of days in advance that there was a deal.
Really, we all know Eddie boy here, and we all know the score on this particular issue.
Man, I was all done with it, why did you bring it back up? Now I feel like strangling somebody again, and I'll bet you all know who that somebody is.
Nobody is questioning manshoon at all. There is NO DOUBT AT ALL that he didn't tell Eddie anything of the sort. And there is even less doubt than that that Hansel told Manshoon any advance info concerning an agreement.
I have plenty more to say as it pertains to our little friend Edward, but I will leave it at that.
He said a pr was coming. Like I said, you read things into other things that you want to hear.
I would think some of SIAL's compensation is in stock, and if that's the case, they will have an interest in the success of KBLB. I don't think they'll make a huge deal of it in their conference call, but they may mention it in a list of some of the deals they have put together recently.
Whow, whow!!! Be careful what you say. There is no doubt that Manshoon has a pretty good communication relationship with Hansel and Thompson, but saying he had info of the agreement before the general public is acusatory of inside info, and also, I believe, blatantly false. He seemed to be as pleasantly surprised as any of us when it was announced. As tight lipped as KBLB is, I can't imagine Hansel letting something like that out of the bag before a public announcement.
Edward, you read alot of things into some people's posts, and quite often, you read what you want to hear. I believe that this is the case here. I would be stunned if Manshoon KNEW about the agreement before it was announced. He's a smart guy, and may have suspected something, but to say he KNEW, I think, is just plain false.
I'll bet those questions are answered. Hopefully they will be addressed in the CC. I hope Fraser will be able to publish something in the next 6-9 months.
If SIAL were to exchange their technology for only future revenues, then we know the science is locked down. If it weren't then there would be no guarantee SIAL would make any money for letting KBLB use their technology. That would be a wonderful scenario, but I think it's more realistic to think some of those future expenses referred to in the most recent filings are for payment to SIAL. If Thompson negotiated as well as I think we can expect he did, SIAL would have a significant interest in KBLB being successful, but I can't see how SIAL could be all in, with a chance of walking away with nothing.
I gotta think SIAL's technology has already been tested for KBLB's needs, and everything came up hunky dorry. I'm betting everybody involved already knows pretty close to certain that KBLB will produce a commodity that will generate revenues and ultimately profits.

Thompson is a half a dozen steps in front of us. I would bet the questions that we have come up with from the news and filings of the past week were addressed weeks, if not months ago, by Thompson and others closely involved. It's just a matter of us being informed now. I couldn't imagine the method of future financing isn't already in the bag, no more than I could imagine relationships needed to make this all come to fruition aren't already solidified. And seeing the way this guy has operated up to this point, I'm betting my investment that it's being all done responsibly. I would bet also that the science is pretty well in the bag also. I don't think there are going to be any dramatic surprises for Thompson from here on out. This agreement with Sigma just couldn't happen if there were many loose ends still to be tied.
It's all patience and faith from here on out.
JMHO
You're kidding us? Right? Tell me you're kidding us. You're joking around? Right?
Thompson just delivered, and probably, within the next 5 business days, he's going to update us and really blow the lid off this, and you're disgruntled with his behavior.
I know this has been a rough play for you, but maybe, just maybe, you mishandled it. It sure doesn't look to me like Thompson mishandled it. He's done nothing other than what he said he'd do. Sorry we've all lost a couple pennies the last couple days. We're probably going to be making nickels here in the next couple weeks, at least those that take Thompson at face value, which nobody has any reason to do anything different.
I believe he'll utilize this tech that he just got his hands on, and start generating revenues, before he sells out. Would truly enhance shareholder value once KBLB starts showing receipts.
It's cajone check time right now.
I think your probably dead on, but I hate to see these bids and asks in hundredths of a penny. That always seems to be a sign of a different kind of player.
Good idea, DoD.
I'll pump all day, but I won't be dumping anytime soon.
No offense taken, considering the source.
There will be a sell-off, and the clue is, there are alot of traders with profits on the table.
I know this doesn't make alot of sense to you, but it's just something you'll have to try and grasp someday.
Folks, just my humble opinion, but I wouldn't be doing any selling just yet.
Well, I personally wouldn't be doing any anyway, as I'm in this lo-o-o-o-o-o-ng, but I think even the traders should just sit tight until sometime tomorrow. Monday morning we may get hit kind of hard, but through noon tomorrow, I think this should continue to trend up.
I'm the last person to give trading advise, but that is my humble, very humble, opinion.
I agree. Sellers will be hard to find after the flippers have made their move.
I was just discussing that with another poster. It might take some real diligence to find the true nuts and bolts of the agreement.
I was just looking at the trades and this is going 5,6,8 minutes and a couple hundred thousand shares without a sell order. It's just buy, buy, buy. Love to see somebody blast in with a 500,000 share buy order. Just blow some resistance away.
Stock Watch Alert hit my spam box with the KBLB news. So we're going to get some of that daytrading action. I was hoping not to see any touters out there today, but here they come.
Good point. If Sigma would have asked Thompson for cash on the barrelhead, then Thompson would have had to go to the market and really dilute to get the money. But Sigma took shares. Great indication of what they think of KBLB.
Now, you plug in that Madagascar Darwin monster into the strain, and you got your thread that can stop a 747.
MonsterSilk. How appropriately named. KBLB must have always known this was where it was going. It's all nice and good to have a silkier silk and all that, but when you can spin pure spider silk at commercial levels...............this is mind blowing. The industrial uses for things like cables and belts and such, enormous.
I knew this wasn't all about more comfy bed spreads!!!
It's got to be coming. The news put out today looks like it was put out by Sigma. Thompson still hasn't stepped to the podium. When he does, it very well could cause another price bolt.
Things are looking very interesting, if nothing else.
Because they want to become a 15 billion dollar market cap company, and the penny stock company has the goods to help them get there.
A steady stream of news, meaning news with substance coming out when it warrants release, no fluff, will get this to a buck at some time this year.
I said months ago that this stock would hit a buck sometime in 2011, and settle year end around 50 cents. I will happily stand by that prediction, but hope that I'm wrong about year end.
And then "rapidly and precisely".
I think somebody said that 2011 was going to be an exciting year.
Oh yeah.....It was that useless, lying, CEO.
Come on CEO, lie to me all night long.
We had a little profit taking pullback there for a half hour or so, but now it looks like we're going to move forward again from here. 10 cents on 10M shares today? A real possibility.
VERY KEWL
And you should feel good about it. I feel great about mine.
You're right. This validates KBLB. And it should accelerate developements.
I think Manshoon scheduled a call into the company today. It'll be interesting when he reports back in. As this is, I think we're just going to get a couple day run from this alone. We're going to need more news to really explode. This is still a "developemental" announcement. If this were a football game, this isn't the game winner, I wouldn't even call it a touchdown. More like a key first down, and we keep "matriculating the ball down field"* from here. Not pouring cold water on it at all, it's a fabulous announcement, but patience is still the name of the game.
10,000,000 today? Maybe.
* Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Hank Stram, in one of the most popular NFL quotes ever.
Exactly. If Thompson says nothing between now and April 27, the pps isn't going to change dramatically, if at all. May as well see if he's going to step to the plate as he's said he would. If he does, as we are expecting, we will get a bump, could even be an appreciable bump. Nothing to lose.
I have let just about all the negativity that has been posted on this board slide off my back. I don't see any harm in you or mojo or anybody else posting your opinions, and I've read them and taken them for what they are worth and in the vein they have been presented. The only thing, in all the negative comments I've read that sticks with me, is that your correspondences haven't been replied to, or even acknowledged. I can appreciate your attitude due to that truth, and it does make me wonder why this has happened to you.
I'm not trying to feed any fires as much as I'm sympathizing with you. That has to be frustrating for you. I do hope that the DD you did that initially got you involved in the first place will inspire you to hang in there just a little bit longer. The pps can't go much further south than it is right now, and hopefully you'll consider at least giving KBLB until the end of April. It would seem to be a "gamble" worth considering. If they come through in the next 3 weeks, maybe that will strengthen your resolve and put everything into a different light for you. I do understand and appreciate your frustration concerning the personal communications "blackout", as it were.
My investment is based on my DD, but the strength of my commitment is entirely based on my trust in Thompson. I have kept my eyes and ears open for a reason to lose that faith in him, as it is of paramount importance to me, and I have failed to find any reason to lose that trust up to this time. His silence was expected and advertised. Anything else would have made me jumpy. He will have to speak, and it will have to be soon, as that, again, is what he has advertised. If he doesn't, I'll get jumpy.
Hang in there jb. You've been involved a long time from the sounds of it and you deserve a little bump for your time and money. You'll get it.
