Paddling, running soft sand, taking the hairiest drops I can at my local beach break, weight lifting, core training. There is no way I can train up to the level I'm going to need. Too old now. I'm going to be surfing off Timor and then back to Bali for a month where I can stage one more trip to Sumba or another location. The area you are thinking of is the Mentawai chain. A lot of the breaks are named for the auusies that discovered them. All these guys are now dead from falciparum malaria.
Almost all the way back to my entry point. Here's one I could have traded out of. People don't seem to think much of Harry Barr.
No I almost never make a second buy. Some kind of stuborn syndrome. I think we're going to do ok on this one. Training for the drastic conditions I'm about to face on Indo.
Have'nt looked at it. I see it does have one of those mysto volume bars. The one I feel I missed and will regret is Endevor gold. Same people as Carnac but a better property.
I have to be patient, I'm stuck on this planet for a while yet.
I surfed this island chain in 1999. One island has inhabitants so fierce that no one has ever been able to land and survive for any period. The British got a load of these guys and gave it a pass. The Indians tried to get on the Island once and were driven off. It's got the best right reef pass in the entire chain. I surfed it for over a week on good south swell and drifted off the coast at night. The first time the place was surfed a few headmen came out and stood on the dry end of the reef to watch. That was the year previous. When we showed up, we were'nt even a curiousity. I kept glasses trained on the beach and only saw to people momentarily. Same boat, same idiots on surf boards, not even worth bothering with.
Not bad for some follow up drilling. Gives me faith thay the consulting geo's know where to look after all. I expect to have to hold this one and several others for another five years to see their true potential. As long as I can surf in the mean time, who cares?
If you would not mind my asking, how does one get in on the PP?
Looks correct. How does this square with the warrant overhang you have been discussing on SH?
Anybody familiar with LEAP calls? Does this seem valid?
Today PDG closed at 17.97, lets say 18. The Bid/ask on a pdg January 06 17.50 call is 4 bid 4.20 ask. .The premium is about 3.50, or if you want to be aggressive buy the Jan 06 25 call for 1.75 to 1.95.
Similarly ABX closed 23.78 . The bid ask on a 22.50 January 06 call which would be more than a dollar in the money is 4.70/4.90.
If this is too rich for your blood try the 30 Call at 2.10 bid 2.25 ask.
If either of these stocks were to move as little as 3 or 4 dollars you could double your money. If there were a ten point move in either before Jan 06, you could probably triple or quadruple your money. If gold were to take off and these stocks were to double or triple you could see 10 banger moves. This is really great leverage. In my view the risk reward is so great I can’t pass them up. I will be looking to buy on any correction.
Second day of huge volume on MAI. Don't pretend to know what's going on but I've been long for two years plus so I'll wait and see.
The persistent 8 cent spread on the warants kept me from getting in. Dumb move.
Now these MR warants are really starting to tick me off.
I've got those except the last two. I had'nt thought of Mexico becomming the next China but it does seem that the full advantage of NAFTA has'nt been taken into account yet. I know Mexico. I've spent long periods of time there since 1974. More than half of the people I interact with on a daily basis are Mexican. I know pretty much what to expect.
You made me aware of this one. I think it's got a good chance.
Hi Eva, you know we've missed you.
Trying to figure out this AUN warrant overhang. Drill results should be due out at or close to the same time the labs are ready to produce a report. Picked up my usual compliment of GID after a little more examination.
Well if these work like your recent Bottom pick on NPG or the more recent turn on the day in NSU, I think we better pay attention.
I became aware of that one a while back and did not participate. Seems like some of the air is comming out of IMR and AMS. I think the argument for GID is as a takeover if Mexdold drill results seriously prove out. With the number of shares out, it's probably good odds here.
That was a great job not getting sick at all. Do you happen to know if the malaria there is falciparum or vivax?
Lets see if this will actually post

As per the Golden Ratio = 1.61803399
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=golden+ratio
With the last leg starting at 318.5 & topping at 430.5 we get the distance travelled as 112
112/1.61803399 gives us a retracement level of 69.2
Add this to the low & you get the target of $387.7 which we achieved.
Also visible is the breakout of the downtrend resistance.
Also the alignment with the SKI indicator & my swing cycle looks excellent (recently posted).
This next leg should be one to surprise most people.
At the approx level of $450 gold should be breaking out in all currencies the same as currently happening with silver.
It's only early days but this coming leg will be 'the one' to be onboard.
Caveat Emptor
I have'nt done any thing but screw myself by jumping in and out of stocks ever since the emergence of this bull market. Many of my early picks are up six and seven fold after sitting through flat spots of several months and they look to me to have several fold more in them. I wish I had the technical expertise of Michael S. That NSU entry today may turn out to be a really good one.
Thanks for the precise analysis. That last volume bar probably means something. By entering now, you pick up quite a gain over waiting for the SAR to be breached. Seems like something is happening in the sector when you look at that last big volume surge in NXG taking it to all time highs.
Do we have anything close to a technical buy signal that would prompt you to place your hard earned money on NSU?
Talk about catching a knife, I still don't have that print on big charts.
With Bonner down there, it could be best left hand point geeks on the Pacific. Sorry it's early on the West coast.
Just as I say that, I take a look at CLG. This thing looks like it wanys to keep dropping. Guess nobody wants to tie up money over the time period necessary to construct a mine. That grid story does look interesting.
Ufortunately not but things are looking up this morning with a fully red tape and Amex miners gaining.
It's kind of funny that Bill Bonner is developing real estate on one of the best keft hand point greaks on the Pacific coast. It used to be acessable best by boat, now you can buy a lot. He calls it Rancho Santa Ana and publishes from down there now.
If you don't mind my asking, what was your assesment of the malaria risk during your stay?
You know these best of lists in the past have really worked. Seems like every thing that has worked stops working at one point. The trick would be to tell when. What do you think of Radius at present?
I wish I had eaten the persistent seven cent spread on MR.WT. When they finish drilling out Mogote, the Tenke final results come in and AMS proves an ore body this whole area is going to look like a huge missed oportunity.
It's a fluid situation. A lot of people who should have easily known better bought into the Henderson legal claim. If one did'nt have time to review the briefs, the guy's past history alone should have been the tip off. The volume may not appear for a while and still the price may move. Nobody with any common sense is selling. The smartest geos I talk to own IMR in their personal accounts and regard Navidad as one of the worlds largest potential finds. There's something really interesting about AMS as well.
It appears that the market perception of the IMR/AQI lawsuit has just taken a big shift and the top just blew off AMS unfortunately without me on board. I knew better.
Kenor ASA has sent me a notice of share tender offer that's obviously leading up to a move onto the TSX under a different header. Take a look at the production numbers and the twenty largest share holders on the Kenor website. These institutions have something in mind for this stock.
I've got no excuse for not picking up CNU at the bottom. I had the info two years ago albeit in the form of a riddle. Right now I'm trying to figure out GQ and why it's dropping. I know you previously mentioned a question on the latest drill results. Do you have a current opinion on this company?
That's no joke. Things have hit a wall. There's no volume on most of what I check. I'm getting no activity at all on Yerbabuena as though it's being held in reserve. The other two are engineered on previous data allowing for a good chance of a precise hit. Still the main geos involved feel that YB will be the largest target. I'll probably regret not buying more here as well. At least I got my last mistaken fill worked out with the broker and now have 24000.
Not yet. Entry may still be possible through the CPC.
Yeah I picked up 50,000 a while ago. I liked the property rundown and the share structure. Now I'm thinking maybe I'm light on sheild gold.
Based on the latest and previous drill results on a 100% owned ICOG deposit, the price action of this stock indicates that it is in a coma. Is there some significant problem of share overhang, some large number of warrants out?
