Fernando's posts are always impressive - I've been reading his work since last summer; but, yes, in this case, I must confess that we are talking about something(s) entirely different...LOL!!
Now that's impressive
Burp - looks like you'll need to raise the ceiling in your "screen room" before long........LOL!
Swamp - is the "Jack" you refer to in your previous post Jacky Lam? I guess I was assuming it was a contact that you have who is "in the know" more than the rest of us but not Jacky.....
CCME - thanks for sending the note to Jacky, Chris. I too have a significant chunk of change invested here so if a dividend is announced, I will be happy to give you full credit!! LOL
CCME - so Joe, are you saying that a short term catalyst like a dividend or share buyback might not be necessary since CCME will likely work its way out of this without one on its own (although I gather it will take quite a bit longer)? That would certainly preserve all the cash on the balance sheet for reinvestment in new contracts or an accretive acquisition opportunity......
Kinda funny to look at the institutional ownership table when you consider that many of us here own more individually.....LOL
CCME Hi Dan - I am long with you since probably about the same time since we have similar cost on these shares. As you have mentioned before, I have Fernando to thank although I wish I had listened when he was touting the TMI warrants at 15 cents!! Anyway, while I have sold a few thousand shares over the last few months, I have an even 50K shares left and have no intention of selling these any time soon.....best of luck to us all!!
Chuck
Glen - nice article by you on The Street today about some of our stocks (CCME, CHBT, CNAM, SKBI). A quick heads up: the symbol at the top of each page for CCME is incorrect - the one listed is "CME" which provides a link to Concord Medical...........
I think they file the NT on purpose - when they file they have to give a reason for the delay in filing the 10Q and it gives them an opportunity to pre-announce earnings, in this case four day early. "Dumb like a fox"......
How about we meet at $150 in 5 years or $75 by the end of 2012
Burp - sad that you even have to expend the energy to write what you did but some people are just weird I guess. While I don't post much at all, I do very much appreciate your insights here as well as on the CCME and CGS board so please keep up the good work. Thanks much!! Chuck
Also depends on whether Starr has a better place to park the cash currently invested in CCME........if not, they are likely to stay put unless CCME makes them a ridiculous offer to exit which would be unlikely IMO.
That is freakin' hilarious!!
Only other thing I can think of is no NAZ application in the works at this point...doesn't mean that won't change though
Jeez....who's the mouth breather?!?!
Got it - thanks. Not necessarily a "methodology" we would use if we were to multiply Jackie's EPS with a reasonable P/E to get to an "expected" share price though.....at this point, it would pay to look at a forward P/E anyway I guess.
Gary - that EPS seems way high to me. I was thinking more in the 1.40 range. I'm guessing they measure it differently than has been discussed a few times here??
I heard what you heard Adam - $150MM for 2010
You're killing me Burp!!! LOL!!!
Superman - nicely done!
Throw in the fact that their numbers have been audited by Deloitte & Touche and you've got that much more added credibility to the story!
Burp - if this stock went to 50 bucks, I would have a heart attack...then I'd retire!! GLTA.....Chuck
Hey Burp - thanks for the post! My dad died at 58 from too much smoking (and drinking); now I have a 20 year old son who smokes and has begun to make some noise about quitting. My wife, two other kids and I are non-smokers. I will share your post and the links you provide to "WhyQuit" with my smoker son. We'll see where it goes...thanks for sharing!
