The "average" share price for today so far is .138

Cool beans, I'll get the gas!
The brokeages vary, I use TD which a couple years ago I switched from Sharebuilder because back then Sharebuilder would not accept 3 decimals or less - I had to trade in whole pennies.
I like TD...
For what it's worth I put all my shares into a sell order GTC limit order for 5.00 per share.
Perhaps others did as well and perhaps this practice will indeed limit the number of (our) shares that can be used/borrowed in short sells.
They didn't fire Kurt Jensen.
I agree 100%. Perfect for the Oracle of Omaha.
Sure would'nt want the current share price to be a multiple factor in a buy out.
They already have agreements with other Co.s in the marking and authenticating arena.
Smoakcloak, Redweb, Markem,Nissha...
Were in "show me the money" stage.
Spooked by Agora super pump/dump, expense increases before revenue realization and by the very nature of secrecy needed in the security arena as pointed out in todays 8K all contribute to a thunderus lull.
This Co. will not self promote for the above reason plus I suspect that due to the previous management in place before 2005 when there was a scandle with another promoter and having to deal with that they now are very consertative not to appear to be pumping - in my opinion only.
Need published revenue increase with cost decrease.
The verdict comes in via the 4th. Qtr. report around Dec. 12.
Only a major vendor client announcement otherwise can provide the volume needed to outrun the bid wacker(s).
Thanks WT, the last 5 mins. He talks about marking, authenticty and provenance.
LOL A1, we have similar posts but you beat mine by 7 seconds.
Scary but I guess great minds think alike.
Cool find Yip.
I look at that list as a Leader Board.
Applied DNA Sciences is the only company specifically named.
Acronym (A1 ?)
I was referring to this post:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=92846207
While specific revenue source is unavailable in the quarterly filings the recent expansion of the original contract will be an unknown but certain increase to revenue.
With the clients large revenue pointed out by A1 earlier it may be significant.
It's in the plus column.

Dont know Lou.
The expansion of the printing deal will definately increase the volume of "juice" ordered.
Authentication requests should increase too.
Not sure about the requests for unique batches per each new non fish categories.
I remember those pre mandate days. It was like putting your money in jail.
Looks like a fun trip - nice fish but odd looking seaweed :]
Better than watching this pot boil.
Good points, but perhaps none saw the drop coming and perhaps somebody needs a big fat boat to retire on...
Who knows - lets see if the sniper picks off the bids today too. Whoever it is does not bother showing their hand in level 2 as those Asks go unchanged as the trades occur.
GLA.
Some insight to original Nissha agreement playing out now.

Still don't know if a recently ex employee has to file a SEC form or wait a certain period of time before selling their shares.
Found it - "exercising" stock options:
A stock option is a right to purchase company stock at a specified price. So let's say you get the option for 10,000 shares at $20 (and the stock is currently worth $17 on the open market). Later on, the stock price has gone up to $25. You exercise your right to purchase the stock at $20. 100,000 shares @ $20 means that you've just bought $2,000,000 worth of stock from the company. Since the price is $25 in the stock market, you can then turn around and sell those 100,000 shares for $2,500,000, and you just made $500,000.
Yes, nice finds WT, what does "exercising" stock options mean - the ability to buy more (cheap) and/or the unfettered ability to sell shares.
Thanks in advance.
Seems to have started around the time of the departure of the previous CFO.
Just sayn.
Whoever's selling into the bid (forever) - the only time the SP has a chance to rise is when said person takes a dump/other it seems.
Unrelentless bid whacking.
Until he/she runs out the only thing to overcome it may be a Q revenue surprise.
Here's a good place to start:

Thank you & great DD today everyone.
Finally, they threw us a bone - meaty one too.
Time for a new Sticky Note.

via email this AM: Applied DNA Sciences and Nissha Printing Company Expand SigNature DNA-based Inkjet Solutions for New Customers
STONY BROOK, NY, October 8, 2013. Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. (OTCQB: APDN), (Twitter:@APDN), a provider of DNA-based anti-counterfeiting technology, anti-theft and product authentication solutions, today announced that in collaboration with Nissha Printing Company ("Nissha"), headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, the company is expanding SigNature® DNA-based inkjet solutions for new customers in areas that include, food, apparel, cosmetics, pharmaceutics, electronics, automotive and security driven businesses.
Marketed as CustomerQ, Nissha uses SigNature DNA-based ink with its inkjet printing systems to help secure the fresh fish supply chain for the Oita Fisheries Co-operative. In essence, each fish is weighed and measured at the central distribution center, and assigned its own unique product label that certifies the origin, expiration and the shipment information. The Oita fish label is automatically linked to a central database that enables the food supplier, retailer as well as the end consumer to verify the original product information at the point of sale.
Due to the successful launch of CustomerQ DNA ink, Nissha is expanding its reach to new customers in new markets to help keep products safe from interference, and to provide fast, thorough product tracking and traceability in the event of a product recall. CustomerQ DNA ink is more advanced than conventional inkjet inks in the following ways:
Scalable - Potentially billions of items can be printed cost effectively, with no impact to existing manufacturing process.
Traceable - A unique DNA sequence is specifically printed onto the product itself, or packaging. This botanical-based DNA sequence is created for the brand, supplier or manufacturer as a means to 100% authenticate and distinguish an original marked item from one that is not.
Reliable - CustomerQ DNA ink is resilient and generally resistant to removal by washing. In the case of the Oita fish labels, even after refrigeration and several washes with water, CustomerQ DNA ink is still verifiable.
"Nissha continues to be a strong strategic partner for us in Japan and Asia. They have proven to the Japanese food market that CustomerQ DNA inkjet ink is important to ensure purity of the fish supply chain. We believe that there are vast opportunities to expand this scaleable, traceable and reliable solution to a much larger global market that is not limited to food but to many areas where high quality, performance and consumer confidence matter the most," stated Dr. James A. Hayward, President and CEO, Applied DNA Sciences.
...Bob Cummings, a former leader of London's elite anti-crime Flying Squad, and now affiliated with Applied DNA Sciences, points at a nearby car. "It's marked with DNANet," says Cummings. "We hope they are stupid enough to try and pinch it.
Steady as she goes and damn the torpedos.
Thats cool, ive had more misunderstandings via text and email in work that I found it best to just pick up the phone.
GL, thanks for clarifying.
Hey Dshade, I noticed your use of subtle on another board today:
many will be subtle and say they are disappointed to try and quell any moves as they want cheaper shares, also, shorts are always paying numerous team members to slow it down, not just the ones in bold and toxic posts. lol.
I've been long on this stock since pre mandate and all my posts have been positive worthwhile DD as best I can contribute - can you do the same please .
I think manipulating others at their expense is immoral and I for one don't practice it. This specific board has somehow managed to avoid the nonsence often seen on other boards so try to keep it that way.
Subtle what ?
Guess we wont see any SEC fileings.
Thanks for the insightful recap McS.
It really helps a plain old civilian like me making sense of the military landscape.
It seems APDN is integrating itself from the core first which is very encouraging for the future and expansion.
When the mandate became effective earlier this year there were questions on the status of existing contracts which overlapped the mandate. The recent PR's address this issue by retro including the DNA marking requirement into them.
Not Earth shattering but all these little developments are forming a solid launch pad.
Cool beans I say.
Good post then DS.
Didn't try to steal yur thunder.
Keep em comming.
