You as well!
Go LLEG1
LLEG released financial reports of millions of dollars in profit. I too believe next year will be an even better year with the CA plant being permitted and with New Bedford and Ware being close to being, if not already, permitted.
This next year is going to be a blast. I, for one, am going to enjoy it!
CHA CHING!
I just asked to be re-admitted as an assistant moderator. Hope to take a more active role this week!
We are going to have more than just ihub money flowing in!
All eyes on LLEG this week!
All eyes on LLEG this week!
LLEG looking fantastic heading into this week! Keep up the good work, all!
Its a real company with real, verifiable DD. The longs on this board have really dug up some great stuff on LLEG. This is a stock to stash away in an IRA.
RYGH selling their CA plant to LLEG. Looks like a win-win to both companies.
If so, it looks right up LLEG's alley. Cannot wait for revenue/SEC filings/Berlin PUC approval/future project announcement!
Is this the CA plant?

Susanville Project
In November 2007, we completed the acquisition of an idle biomass power plant located in Susanville, California. The plant assets include a boiler capable of producing 160,000 pounds per hour of steam and a turbine that can generate approximately 13 MW of base-load electricity. We estimate our Susanville plant could be fully operational by early 2010, subject to securing necessary financing to refurbish the plant, obtaining any required construction, operation and environmental permits, identifying and securing necessary fuel sources at a cost-effective rate, entering into a power purchase agreement for the entire power output of the plant, and other activities necessary to restart and operate the plant.
Fuel for our Susanville plant will be comprised entirely of woody waste biomass material that is expected to come from nearby forests, sawmills and green waste sites within a 50- to 75-mile radius of the plant site. We are currently in discussions with a local forest products and timber company for the supply of wood waste. We are also in discussions with government agencies, local green waste sites and other parties relating to long-term forest thinning and other contracts that may enable us to secure additional fuel.
Simultaneously, we are continuing discussions with utility companies who have expressed an interest in securing the electrical output of the plant through a long-term PPA, and are pursuing various financing opportunities we have identified to help fund the project.

Great news today for LLEG. This is only the tip of the iceberg!
Absolutely. I just don't have much time to go through all the old posts. I'll be back around more in April. Thanks all. Keep up the great work!
Hey everyone, can someone write me a quick update on what has been going on in the past week? Hope all is well.

Good afternoon everyone. Just wanted to stop by and say hello and let everyone know that I am doing well. Glad to see Gov. Lynch formally supporting LLEG. This is huge! Keep up the good work everyone, talk to you more in a week or so.
Anyone from Birmingham?
Anyone from the Charlotte area?
Trying to find a ride to Columbus
Is anyone on here by chance from the Atlanta area?
MM's close up shop on Friday and come back online Monday morning.
Judging by this article, it sure seems that MBB did his homework with the Berlin project.
Military training. I'll be able to check once in awhile but I doubt that I will be much of a contribution during that time. Thanks all.
I will have limited phone access.
Unfortunately I won't have much access to a computer.
I resigned as a mod today. Won't be able to add as much as I have been the past few years. If you want me back on in April, I'll be glad to be a mod again. I think its going to be a great quarter for LLEG.
Both good news!
How much profit are you making off that downtown Berlin real estate at the moment?

Your neighbors having any more twister parties soon?
See you all in 2011!
Mayor's report:
http://www.laconiadailysun.com/BerlinPDF/2010/12/31B.pdf page 4
As expected, the New
Hampshire Office of Consumer
Advocacy has come
out in opposition to the power
purchase agreement (PPA)
that has been negotiated
between PSNH and Laidlaw
Berlin Biopower. The OCA
is trying to make the shortsighted
case that in today's
depressed recession driven
market, power is plentiful
and cheap. They have not
addressed what happens if
VT Yankee in Vernon, Vermont,
ceases operation after
its license expires in two
years. The Vermont legislature
has gone on record as
not supporting it's continued
operation. VT Yankee has
been plagued with numerous
emergency shutdowns, radioactive
material releases, and
an overall poor safety record.
Although it is considered a
small nuclear plant at 650
MW, that removal from the
grid will have an immediate
negative impact on price.
Couple that with the fact we
won't always be in recession,
locally produced power will
greatly benefi t the region
long term. Electricity pricing
has historically been indexed
to the price of oil, and we've
all seen the price of heating
oil and gasoline lately.

Q. What are some of the benefits that Laidlaw and Public Service gain from locating this facility in the City of Berlin?
A. The City of Berlin and the North Country region are highly experienced in the forest products industry and have been for over 150 years. The City supports the PPA, and its assumptions, calculations, and projections provided by Laidlaw and Public Service. This PPA is positive to the City and to the North Country in that it produces highly reliable, stable, clean, renewable electricity for both the region and the state directly through the efforts and abilities of the local workforce, the community and its employees, the City’s infrastructure that it maintains for local suppliers and the region’s distribution base for materials, supplies, and disposables. The region maintains a labor force which operates, maintains, and keeps running the forestry equipment, trucks and handling equipment to deliver fuel, and a labor force which ultimately can maintain, manage, and operate the power plant. This is a highly trained work force with a proven track record of delivering more than 3,000 ton/day of forest products into the economy on an annual basis for decades. This PPA should be supported because the plant is correctly sited in the proper location to provide the most cost effective benefits to the rate payers and capitalize on the ability of the region to provide infrastructure and labor for this asset.

Hey all, I hope you all had some nice time off. This will be my final week on the ihub board for quite awhile. I may check in from time to time, but I won't have the time or access to keep up with everything regularly. I look forward to seeing how well things have progressed by April!
Matthew
Were doing fine with that until last Monday! People need stronger stomachs.
