Great news for us POWsters! I can hardly wait for the big press releases to come forward in the coming months about these monumental projects! Soon we'll kiss these 16 cent days good-bye and trade them in for 50 cents to a dollar days! This news should get the volume going again, though we've had far more volume this week than we've seen for a very long time. It appears that all trades yesterday were in the buy category. Someone is sure accumulating cheap shares at a fast pace this week. Maybe Disney is catching a few cheapies in anticipation of a take-over offer!
I'm getting excited again, just like in the good old days of last year! Thanks Stan for this much needed and appreciated update!
POW Entertainment might be just what the doctor ordered for Disney's next acquisition! It's a natural and they'll own 100% of Stan Lee's legacy.
I would have done the very same thing you did today, Jon, if I had the extra funds. I'm still ready to buy a fair number of shares to add to my overweighted POW position if the stock dips one red cent more. Hopefully, you'll more than double your money soon when Stan makes the next big announcement. No doubt he'll release a whopper of a press release by year's end. Patience will win the day for all of us!
That appears to be the case, Niner. Some lucky dog bought 79,000 shares of POW at 16 cents towards the close. Down volume had been swamping up volume until then but buys exceeded sells 2 to 1 by the end of the session. That buyer might have known something we don't. Let's hope so, anyway!
Here's a little resume of Stan Lee's work, much of it resulting in multi billion dollars in earnings from successful movies in recent years. The Guardian Project, the Yoshiki collaboration, and the upcoming Chinese movie production aren't even mentioned. And to think that Stan's own company, POW Entertainment, is trading for a mere 16 cents! That just doesn't add up to me. Disney owns 10% of it at a cost of 21 cents per share. I'd say there's real danger that Disney could swallow up the rest of POW for pocket change in a takeover offer very soon! There's that dirty word soon again! Shame on me.

Damn. I was just about to buy 25,000 shares at 16. Looks like I missed the boat. But my policy is don't worry, be happy. I think most of us will be very happy soon when POW sets a new yearly high, maybe tomorrow with any luck! High hopes from me to all! This is good news indeed!
I'll have to admit that I didn't think POWN would go back down to 15 cents, Sunday. You were right about that. The ask is now at a low we haven't seen since the first half of 2010. I'll jump in again if we go any lower since I truly believe this will soon be seen as a tremendous buying opportunity. When the bears throw in the towel, it's time to ride the bull to the upside. We really haven't had any large volume selling. Probably 99% of POWN shares that were being held on New Year's Day 2011 are still being held today by the same stockholders. It's good to look at it that way to avoid being overly pessimistic. POWN has had a range of 13 to 30 cents the past few months and will likely have such a range again by late October. No need to panic and great reason for hope! Fire the hangman since we're not at the end of our rope.
Interesting article. Stan is mentioned in it.

Each to his own, Foxmeadows. I don't blame you for depairing since POWN has had its share of spills and thrills the past few years. With Stan Lee in the picture, POWN has made a lot of good deals and we're just beginning to see profits and truly great prospects. Someone does seem to have bought a block of 100,000 shares today and should make some serious moola if he's patient. Good luck to you and hope to see you back as a faithful POWster again soon!
Congratulations to the person who bought 100,000 shares of POWN at 17 cents today! That's the lowest ask price in the past year and a half. I'd have done the same if my funds were more plentiful. Better days are just ahead and I think we've bottomed out in this cycle of trading. GLTA and to all a good day!
Someone is really selling the hell out of POWN today. Here we sit with a bid of 15 and ask of 17 on 95,000 shares traded. There was one sell order for 40,000 shares that went through. It looks like we could go over 100,000 shares for the first time in quite a while. I still can't believe this stock is selling for such a low price with so many things going for it. I'll be there to buy up some cheap shares if this downtrend continues. We'll be back to 30 by the end of October so buying in the teens will make us kings and queens. Or maybe jokers if I'm wrong. Our day will come but it's a bummer seeing this kind of stock action in the meantime.
Go ahead and make my day you cowardly lions and sell the heck out of this diamond in the rough stock. I'll be there to scoop up a giant bushel basket of your POWN shares and retire early on them. Yes, go ahead and make my day!
That's right. Since there's no buying pressure, any sell order can sink this stock like a rock. It's hard to believe that a couple weeks ago the low on this stock was about 27 cents. It actually went down as we approached the Comic Con which is very unusual. Last year, POWN tanked from 30 to 20 shortly after the Comic Con when there was no big news released. Then in October we had quite a few days in the 30s. That will happen again this year, only I think we'll hit 40 cents or better with some great movie and earnings news we're sure to see by then.
Super smart move! Buying POWN at 20 cents is a gift. You won't need any luck to make a good profit at that price. The last trade on POWN was 24 cents a few minutes ago. There's no reason we should ever have slipped below 30. POWN has a dozen and a half projects in a serious state of development that are or will be hitting pay dirt. Hats off to the buyers who recognize that fact!
Stan the Ham was center stage at the Comic Con as usual. I hope he mentioned that he has a little company called POW Entertainment!

This Comic Con news item was mentioned on my late local news network affiliate here in Wisconsin last night. Stan himself was shown briefly. Many cities in the US probably carried the clip.

I sure hope that Stan has a big surprise for us this year before Comic Con comes to an end, Matt. Last year at this time, POWN was at 30 cents. Our stock price is 50% less than that now and needs a big infusion from some good news. It can always come later in the year, say at the New York Comic Con a few months from now. The sooner the better though for us long suffering POWsters! I'm confident that we won't stay in the doldrums forever.
People better load up on POWN shares before it's too late! The big show starts tomorrow but Stan won't appear at his panel there until the market closes. Sparks should fly on Friday after the Stan Lee-Yoshiki deal is announced at the Comic Con! I hope this collaboration flies in Japan as well as in the USA. Tokyo investors could rock our stock to new highs if they see their biggest pop superstar arm and arm with Smilin Stan the Comic Man! Our trading volume is low today but the MMs are keeping the ask as high as the sky. They must know that POWN is greatly undervalued and will be taking off from the launch pad after this weekend. To da moon, ladies and gentlemen! To da moon!
Stan Lee will be having a Marvel-ous weekend at Comic Con!

It all begins on Thursday! Here comes Comic Con!

SuperHumans was my favorite program on cable in 2010. They presented so many incredible people who could do things no one else on earth could accomplish! Just unbelievable but true. No wonder the series is a go for a second season! I can hardly wait to see more episodes! POW should get some good revenue from this unless they have to share it with Marvel that seems to have a hand in it too. No volume yet for POWN today which is mighty weird for just two days before the Comic Con. Maybe it's the calm before the storm.
You might just be right about that, TOW! The MMs could be trying their best to position POWN at the lowest price possible to pick up some cheap shares, put them in their pockets, and sell them later this week or next at a much higher price. There is a method to their madness and that could bode well for all of us! Stan is probably laying low and planning to spring the surprise of the year on us at the Comic Con this weekend. Generalissimo: Your brigadiers are at attention. Give the orders from headquarters so we'll be well rewarded for our loyalty. Dismiss us to revel in the success of your Purveyors of Wonder!
Yes, indeed. We sure need some volume to get POWN back in the black. I think today's trading is an aberration and more normal trading will take place later in the week. There's no reason POWN should be sitting in the low 20s when we were in the upper 20s much of last week. Comic Con is nearly upon us and we should get some buyers coming in soon enough. GLTA and let's roll!
Uplisting POWN would have a positive effect and stop some of this MM (Mickey Mouse) funny business. These money changers need to get another line of work where they can't do so much damage.
It looks like the MMs are doing quite a hatchet job on POWN shares today. As of 10:00 central time, we've traded 28,000 shares at a high of 25 and low of 22. The bid-ask is 20 to 22! The MM must be trying to crash the stock price before the run up to the Comic Con. I think this is outrageous and almost criminal! I hope this gets straightened out soon as no one should be manipulating stock prices like this, note even in pennyland!
Stan can't go wrong in old Hong Kong.

It is insane to sell POWN down in the low 20s with Comic Con beginning next Thursday! I really thought we'd finish this week at 30 cents or more. That could still happen but looks unlikely with the crazy trading going on today. We should recover and get to a good price by later next week. Then anything is possible if Stan has a few cards up his sleeve that he'll be dealing for us! I hope we draw into a royal flush!
I agree there Captain. We'll just keep spinning our wheels until we get some volume with this baby. Last year we had huge volume for quite a few days in a row as we progressed from around 30 cents to 87 cents within a month or so. Now, a 100 share sell can sink the stock price by a nickel. If someone bought 50,000 shares at the market, POWN might go up a dime. We need the volume to be turned up along with the stock price! We'll get 'er done. No doubt about that!
POWN has so many potentially winning projects to draw from! We should get a good bounce from the Comic Con. Last year, a week away from the big show, POWN was trading in the low 20s and got to the low 30s just prior to the big show. I think we'll see the mid 30s to low 40s by next week Friday. Then, if any big announcements are made over the weekend, we could be flying higher than the space shuttle after that! Only blue skies ahead and fair weather in the forecast for Stan and his POWster brigadiers!
Thanks for the info on Nick Rachett, Riverdog. I guess it's old news but one of those movie ideas could come to fruition at any time. Stan has many arrows in his quiver. One of them is bound to find the mark very soon as he takes aim at the targets he's fashioned! Not much volume today but that should change by week's end. POWN will still be trading during 2 days of the Comic Con next week. Big news could give us a boost before the Saturday-Sunday sessions of the Con. We could have carry through after that for a while to come as well. Boy, would that be swell! GO POWN GO!
This is just what the doctor ordered! Our collective migraine headache is about to be relieved. We just need some buyers with volume back in the 300,000 range that we got quite a few days in April of 2010. Then we'll all be dancing with the stars or at least howling at da moon with delight!
If this is a new posting regarding the Nick Rachett movie project, it is HUGE NEWS! It would be great to get confirmation that Disney is working with POW on a "coming soon" movie! If an announcement of such a movie deal was announced today, POWN would jump higher than a kangaroo on a trampoline!
That's the attitude! If we all pull together, we'll be well rewarded for our patience! POW will WOW us in the days to come!
Nice to see you back on the board, Sunday. Now if we can just get Tamara back, we'll have the good luck charm we need to see those 4 dimes to a dollar that will make all of us holler!
That would be great, Matt! I like your optimistic view regarding our beloved POWN, the stock of renown. If Stan would send us a sweet tweet that hinted at a surprise he was set to spring, we'd really get into the swing! When POWN get moving, it runs like a jaguar, only faster!
Thanks for the clarification, Sig. So any revenues from Marvel's Nick won't help out our cause at all. Stan might get a few bucks for a cameo but that's about it unless someone else has more info to share. Shucks! I thought we had another big break here but I guess not. Just like the Governator. Big bucks so close but now so far away. We still have a motherlode of projects that will propel our stock price to new highs. You can't win 'em all but we'll win our share. We're sitting at 30 cents. Any takers we go to 40 before the end of July?
Sure is getting to be an exciting time for POWN investors, Muley! You're right that this barrage of great news could knock our stock out of the park! Get on your mark! We're set to go to da moon and very, very soon! I forgot that Nick Rachett and Nick Fury were one and the same. No need to worry. POWN will get us all rich in a hurry! Stan the Man is bringin home the bacon and a lot of money is on the table for the takin.
The possibility of a big Nick Rachett movie is big news too! I hope that Stan can make an announcement about that pretty soon. POWN would explode to a new high in the snap of a finger if that comes to pass! Great things come to those who wait! God knows, we've waited long enough!
That payment should boost POW's bottom line on its next quarterly earnings report! A half mill here and a half mill there might just add up to some real money pretty soon. The good news just never seems to stop for POWN! Now let's get that stock price up to reflect that fact! I'm really looking forward to the next couple weeks when POWN will truly be the penny stock of world renown!
Yes, Comic Con is 10 days from tomorrow and begins on the 21st. We should be rockin and rollin into the big event and could come out smokin like the tailpine on the winning car at Indy! POWN is waking from a long sleep and could erupt like the Vesuvius volcano in the coming days! When it comes out of hibernation, sparks always fly like on the 4th of July! Bring on the Con. The penny stock days of POWN may soon be gone! Excelsior forevermore!
