That leaves tomorrow wide open.
Raja20: I like your number better!
Close prediction $0.0023.
Where is the love?
ItGoesUpItGoesDown: Great post...and accurate!
Yes, erodri02, that is the same feeling when people see the space shuttle take off. It is awesome. Good morning and much success to you!
Indeed!
18's hit...good thing someone invented Depends!
Please clarify, thanks
Outstanding doesn't include Treasury stock. Issued does, not Issued & Outstanding.
Pretty quiet in the late afternoon...probably until the conference call.
They didn't need any additional shares to fill an order. Simple.
Loosen your belt and the feeling will go away.
Every large company is interested in new technologies that offer synergistic capabilities to their existing business plan. Large pharma does this all the time, letting the small guys take the risk but paying up for it once the product is either proven or near proven. This company fits the bill with their recent validation of the composite material. Yes, a company like ALCOA might be interested. It is not necessary for you to agree with me. Enjoy the day.
Would ALCOA want to offer a competing bid for this technology if they aren't already the bidder??? Chump change to them and everyone knows they could use the earning driver. They have all the right market contacts. Seems like a great fit.
As long as the deal goes through in short order as CASH and not stock, this deal looks tempting. Just a point, and I believe a major one at that: I wonder why an 8K stating a material change in the company was not posted with the SEC?
ScubaTrader28: And a lot more if the counterparty is present showing legitimacy!
Please show us your database. Thanks!
People who worry about a reverse split should not be in this stock and should look for opportunities elsewhere. It simply does not make sense. Either there is a buyer and the announcements are legitimate, or the Board wants to throw their careers and freedom to the wind. The latter part is HIGHLY unlikely. If another company (potential buyer) is on the conference call, the stock will approach the buyout price...unless the deal is for stock.
Thank you
What is the date? Are you sure this isn't OLD info?
Thanks for the reply. The quote doesn't say there was a problem per se, just that it was a point of negotiation. You may be right that a hedge wasn't put on at that time. Conversely, it could have and should have been ...or for that matter, even a partial hedge. I really don't think the buyer is a gambler, although shareholders in pennyland are.
A thought to all those who suggest there is a problem with the Euro's decline vis-a-vis the dollar: A deal of this magnitude would be hedged in the futures market with the aid of one of the large brokerage firms. It is exceedingly easy to do and is done all the time.
When the prior announcement came out using the unprofessional and antagonistic phrase "put up or shut up" I changed my belief that this particular deal will be consumated. I was shocked to see that language, having NEVER seen a press release like that! It seems the towel was thrown in on plan "A" and the company is looking at other options. I believe the company will do a treasury buy back with the intention of instigating a short squeeze. Just my thoughts, and truly hope I am wrong. Comments???
Hi Vianna et al;
Do you think the Plan is a treasury share buyback? They did say the requisite funds were in place. My apologies if this was already discussed.
Hi Vianna,
As an outsider not affiliated with the Company, what do you think is the probability that the deal will be consumated? Just wondering what your level of conviction is. I read the same public statements that you did. Thank you. Bye.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
Vianna et al: I have not been watching this for several weeks and would appreciate if someone can give me a brief update without having to go through hundreds of posts. Because the price is at the current levels I assume everyone is still waiting. Many thanks!
Seems like on the one hand management shouldn't give away the farm, but on the other hand fallow land doesn't produce. I wonder why there aren't others interested. VERY troublesome if true. There isn't going to be any more land created for a while so why wouldn't more parties have a bidding war? Why only ONE party...potentially troublesome if the deal is not consumated. It could take months or years to get another interested party. Thoughts???
Good morning all. I don't expect much action today or for the remainder of this week, but who knows.... I wonder how difficult it will be to resolve the issues in an amicable fashion. Hopefully the issues get resolved averting a stalemate. The Company is intent on selling so I don't think they want to start the process all over again with a new bidder who may offer less knowing there are a limited amount of other bidders. I hope all parties play nice.
...interesting!
Wouldn't fills at $0.00025 be for professionals since it goes into 5 decimal places?
Time to walk away and forget about it as I did in 2009. Maybe one day I will wake up to unexpected GOOD news. Until then, au revoir.
Good Morning to all and success to all (longs that is!). If it comes in don't forget your favorite charity! Remember, there are those who went short, sold prematurely, or in all seriousness are unfortunate enough to need charity. Therefore extend a hand to the next person.
Indeed!
Would you rather have old ones or used ones? I like 'em fresh!
It's almost bedtime, I thought I would get a jump on my dreams.
How about this scenario: Halt tomorrow pending successful buyout news on Monday. This way it keeps the fire going until people are back to work on Monday but they do indeed make an implied statement via the halt. If it is going to be a failure wouldn't they rather release tomorrow and get it over with when Wall Street is generally absent?
Bobbybdb is right. Take a look at Seabridge symbol SA. They have no revenue but their strategy is to build proven in-ground gold ounces per share of stock. Their stock has done well this past year and is expected to move even higher.
