Might get there soon. All sellers here. Trade wise. Buy and hold is a dead strategy
The theory presented before of no news being good news is also nonsense. All companies can say something good about themselves. Silence is expensive $.25 to $.15!
Is the true test the amount of time anyone (don't matter who or at what price) has been here but whether anyone has made money? Last I checked that was the goal of investors. Many here are silly to suggest time here is a badge of honor.
I penned that in 5 min as a typical public statement. If I had 40 hrs a week I could find something better than silence to say. Respectfully there is no excuse for silence. Whether my statement fits or not there is something positive that can be said that shows life in this company.
Fair enough. Something as simple as "ELTP is now hiring for second shift operators. This is the next step in our plan to manufacture xyz and continuous progress on our long term strategic vision to become a premiere provider of xyz." This is how simple it is to positively share something about your company.
It is actually better to face into bad news if you have it. Silence and the speculation that follows is more damaging to a company than dealing with a problem. It shows maturity and we as owners might have more respect for them as a result.
They have tried to change the narrative to their generics in the past. Been here off and on for many years as well. Have made money as I don't believe in buy and hold forever. Trading with trailing stops works best. Of course news would provide exposure to existing and potential new investors. Supply and demand governs pricing and demand is gone (see buy/sell spreads). With all this "talent" they have they can even pen opinions, blogs, etc. Just say something!
Honestly if they say they can't say anything that is better than silence. In any setting they can talk about other parts of the business. Of course they can do that more than once a quarter as the pps falls from $.25 to $.15. That would show some care for us owners.
They didn't take questions on the last CC. Silence is killing the pps. There is zero excuses to say nothing.
I have tried and received no response to my email. It isn't my job to inform owners and/or share Corp updates. That is within the job description of any IR employee or contractor.
Even if they can't talk about Sequestox the FDA can't mandate a blanket gag order. IR can talk about other Corp updates. If there is no good news at all to share then we have no progress and much bigger problems. Blanket gag orders only comes from courts and in some cases the SEC. At current ELTP has no excuse to say nothing.
Always solid and objective info. Thank you. If we could get them to talk to us (shareholders) about progress to date we may get a positive move.
Seems odd to me as well. The revenue comparisons don't compare also. Snap inc has growth though and that seems to be more valuable to them. Makes me think a few fixes and a return to growth and valuations jump drastically.
Sad. Simple equation. No news + few buyers = downward pressure. It may pop at some point when The company feels it is ok to inform the owners but MMs will walk it down until then.
I was just posting a link. Didn't take a side.
It was in an article from re code. Not sure of exact date
They certainly have the biggest checkbook but I am agnostic on who. Just focused on the price. A min $30b price should be the target set by the board. Stand alone this will take years to create the same value.
Sorry but have him on ignore. A severe lack of objectivity.
Appreciate and respect your opinion as always. We will need to agree to disagree here. There is always something you can say to the owners of the company.
Respectfully I agree in part but it is possible to discuss "what you can" with shareholders. That could be simple things like CRL items and plan to fix / steps taken, progress on strategic plan, "discussions are ongoing with the FDA to move towards our goal of Sqstox approval", etc. Much can be said. Silence is not helping us and I know it effects us both.
Simple supply and demand. No news = no demand.
Your spirit guide again? Just kidding. Hope you are right.
This will continue each day until the silence ends.
Few buyers plus no news = downside pressure. The cost of silence so far is $.08 pps ($.25 - $.17).
A handful of buyers plus no news = downside pressure. This is how it is being walked down on a consistent basis. The cost of silence.
Fascinating. Wonder how long before others jump on the band wagon? I did see the R&D line item for TWTR and if folded into a larger Google strategy it would be CF positive. Plus it would seem easy to bundle ad packages which could boost overall ad share.
Did he have a pps target on TWTR?
Fair and respectfully they mostly have $18 price targets. If I had sold there I would have missed $6. If no deal this will drop drastically and a few puts may prove to be a smart play. But for now they are way off. Good luck!
If you listen to all of these "analysts" you would have missed all of this price appreciation. They write these things to deflect the fact that they have all been way off!
So the BOD can provide the direction to give a progress report. There is no excuse for silence. There is a responsibility of the BOD to the owners of the company (aka shareholders).
That is exactly what she should do.
Diane can provide progress reports without divulging secrets. Who are you kidding? Been in Corp world since the 80's and there is always something you can share. Silence is the worst way to deal with problems!
Great analogy and thank you for the smile. I just would like a progress report. That is common in most mature companies.
The MMs are the vast majority of the buying volume. Citadel is trading for their own account lately. With the constant silence they can do as they please. Movements from $.11 to $.25 and back down to $.17 are what happens in an information vacuum. It is easy to draw a strong direct coorelation.
Nice pick up. With the imminent bid do you see a difference in value between Jan and Mar?
Hard to know when ELTP remains silent.
They need to say something. Stock pps inches down daily on silence.
Diane needs to update shareholders.
Do you have an idea when these will be materially accretive to their P&L?
