that is what negoiations are all about. give and take, punch/counterpunch. if dnag puts 30 mil on the table as the target, so be it. then the interested party bids 20 mil. dnag counters with 25 mil. game set match. would it be nice if it was that easy!!!lol. like i said before, richard should be burning up the phone lines to make the deal for dnag. it is imperative for the survival of dnag, imho.

Yes, so am I. I think Richard Gabriel's phone lines should be smoking these days. He is a key person at DNAG for the next few months.

also a collaboration with M2GEN with a revenue stream could be forthcoming. we really don't have any idea what is in the works between those two.

if alny can get Roche to pony up 1 billion over time, i see no reason why someone like a Novartis wouldn't be able to invest a like amount in DNAG.

and hello to you as well and i hope you are!!
We are without a doubt getting to the crossroads of this company's existence. Whether they survive is anyone's guess.
More or less a crap shoot in my opinion at this stage based on their financial condition, the whims of the market, and the clock working somewhat against them. But you have to admit as we move into the fourth quarter of 2007, DNAG will be on our radar! Time will tell as usual.

i find it intriguing myself. got to be more to it than meets the eye. if it weren't for the fact that moffit and dnag have been working together for the past four years on projects and that dr. gomez is well known by merck, i would be quite pessimistic about dnag's involvement in M2GEN.
however....knowing what we know or speculate i would say there is a better than even chance that something is in the works, the scope of which is unknown and participation in such also highly speculative.
having said all of the above, i defer to the insiders of moffitt, merck and dnag to do the right thing and make our company a winner.

behind closed doors is the corporate way of doing business. always has been, always will be. in due time the general public and shareholders are advised of the activities of the company when information becomes available. as far as M2GEN and DNAG are concerned, my opinion is that preliminary discussions are ongoing between the parties and decisions are being made as to the suitability of partnerships to allow work to begin. until those discussions come to fruition, we will have to be patient.

thanks for the info on zocor which i take. i used to take lipitor but was told by the pharmacist i see that zocor was now generic and would be less expensive on a copay basis. i had to find out from the pharmacist. the doctor i see did not inform me of the choice i had until i asked. parts of the medical profession have a long way to go ethically imho. also pfizer asked for and received patent protection for lipitor a while ago or they would be in the same boat as merck is with zocor. I thought the patent extention for lipitor was criminal.

big conglomerate in europe
into a lot of different products
i knew of them a few years ago when i was doing some major engineering work for Gerber Baby Foods in Fremont, Mi which was owned by Novartis at the time and was sold recently to Nestle for around 6 billion.

i think dnag shareholders should feel very fortunate that Dr. Tony was chosen to be on the conference faculty as well as one rep from Merck. The vast majority of the faculty are from Moffitt. I think it portends great things for the future of dnag and i hope it is timely. obviously many things need to occur in the upcoming months for dnag's survival.

in other words you have some power!!!
