Fine - but that doesn't change the fact that tox is being done now. If this is smoke and mirrors to you it must mean that you think you are being lied to by the company.
BASi is doing toxicology studies on Flucide right now. That's real.
Until I see some results, it's all just smoke and mirrors.
Serious, sincere question: Now that flu season is upon us, as it is every single year, wouldn't it have been more prudent for NNVC to completely ignore the Ebola crisis and concentrate all of its energy, time and resources to getting Flucide pushed through?
The lives saved by a cure for the flu would far outnumber lives saved by a cure for Ebola.
And yet those non-employees seem to have a wealth of answers and information regarding other topics. Interesting to me how they are so knowledgeable about some things but not others.
Repeatedly asking a group of non-employees the same questions and then complaining about the lack of answers strikes me as pointless.
If I were Seymour....
Gee I hope a giant dinosaur appears and swallows the new plant. That gives me another few years to explain why we cant do Tox.
I remember L Vus was going to attend a luncheon of some sort a few months ago to get many questions answered. As I recall, none of his questions were addressed, at least I don't remember him posting the responses or if the questions were even answered.
Oh, yes, it's caveman simple to attend one of these meetings when one lives in close proximity to the meeting place. When one does not, it may still be simple but very expensive money-wise and time-wise. Much more than the price of one share.
A suggestion for those who seriously desire answers.
Solution: Buy one share of NNVC, attend NNVC's annual meeting, and ask the questions yourself.
Benefit: Less effort than spending countless hours repeating the same topics.
Result: Your questions will have been asked and you will have your answer to the second part.
Caveman simple.
And the fact that the stock is low has nothing to do with the performance of the company.
looks like this stock has reached the "off-limits" area as far as I'm concerned. that won't change until they announce REAL tox results...not fake tox or pre tox or bullshit tox...and perhaps not even at that point.
instead of repeated vague innuendo, followed by repeated "I told you so"s.
When (and if) NNVC proves a new tool for defeating viruses...
But down how much over the last n months?
Yes, back to even for the day.
Desperate move? The stock is tanking. I don't think the Shorts are desperate at this particular juncture.
Right. A baseless hint at fraud is a last desperate move.
As for tox, it will grind to a halt next month (or sooner) if NNVC doesn't deliver more Flucide.
It is NNVC's job to educate the stupid Mr. Market.
Perhaps. But apparently, not substantial enough to waken the sleeping giant, Mr. Market. We need to hear something that will rouse him from his slumber and send him on a rampage. The signed contract with USAMRIID didn't appear to do it.
A signed contract with USAMRIID was real news. Expect more.
The SP is wandering into territory that must be causing even the most Die-hard Long to be experiencing some amount of trepidation.
Even those who purchased at sub-$1.00 (pre-split) levels are probably just a little bit anxious.
We need some REAL news from NNVC. I don't think the non-substantial PRs are working as they have in the past.
I had to look up jingoistic. Its definition does not match its phonetic implications.
I don't think I am. In fact, I'm quite sure I am not.
As long as you are not chauvinist or jingoistic.
Although I am Italian, it sucks. My father, a full-blooded Sicilian, did not teach his children Italian, much to my detriment and chagrin.
I think FZ will forgive my jibe, as the lose/loose interchanging has to be called out by me. It's the one grammatical faux pas I cannot overlook.
As I said, I took my alias because of it.
Que sera, sera!
What is going to hold $3 up from crashing through the floor?
C'mon, now, FN. I can't let this one slip by. I took my alias because of these transgressions.
I don't want to loose my time to look after what you said. I don't have to.
Any body on this board red it
Let he among you, without failed predictions, cast the first stone...
Soon = Just around the corner = On the brink = Any day now = go with throttle up
I thought you were saying down $1.00 from this summer not at $1.00...
Seymour Says:
For us, the time for new drug development is measured in weeks, not years
That’s the most amazing thing about the platform technology concept
Gene
There have been a lot of projections that did not come true.
Like the stock that was tumbling down a dollar for this summer.
Today, 4 months later, we are far from that prediction.
I would br surprised that they have to wait for USAMRIID to complete this process.
But I am not a scientific.
If the Government is involved, I'm thinking after Memorial day or so...
As it is a Government facility - I would suspect that the shutdown will last (or at least remain as a partial standstill) until after the Christmas Holiday weekend. They might not be running at capacity again until Monday, January 5, 2015.
But that's just a guess on my part based on what I know other Government-run facilities tend to do. May be a bit different for USAMRIID as they are managed by the Military and may have a somewhat different Holiday schedule.
We could get a pleasant pre-Christmas surprise - but I wouldn't count on it.
From the Proxy statement:
(ii) approve the amendment to our Articles of Incorporation to increase the number of our authorized shares from 85,714,286 authorized shares of common stock, par value $0.001 per share to 150,000,000 shares and 5,714,286 shares of preferred stock, par value $0.001 per share, to 10,000,000 shares;
The short will be blown over board.
Was a specific date given?
If Ebolacide was "ready to go", I would think we would have heard news to that effect.
How do you know that?
Ebolacide is NOT ready to go. Seymour said they'll be ready to ship at a later point in the future, meaning, they aren't ready to ship now.
If 'cides are the panacea many claim them to be, I would expect to see a much higher SP.
I agree...a 'cide would be worth $1000 per share.
A 'cide in the hand is worth 1,000 in development...
Those who forget the past are destined to repeat it.
One always has the option of divesting oneself of a potential investment/speculation if one is not happy with the way things are going or with how information is communicated.
So, there is apparently no limit on the length of a post, LOL.
It would be foolish to think that the news will not spread throughout the world at high speed, or to imagine that the financial effects will be small or predictable.
A good illustration that even insiders can get it wrong sometimes.
