I'm sorry, I didn't mean to give the impression that the effects of the PRs were immediate or that all the volume occured on the days of the PR's release. I am looking at a monthly chart which show the volumes for each month. I can only say what the chart shows.
I said....
> On April 26, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG intends to commence mineral production within the next 3 months, the first mineral being gold."
The stock jumped up to .04+. April volume 14,112,000 shares .
It is now more than a YEAR later and NO gold production.
--------------
It would have been clearer if I had written, "The stock jumped up to .04+ FOLLOWING the PR." The high for May (following the PR) was .042.
The statement takes into account the fact that the full effects are not immediate and irreversible.
The 60+ million share volume was for the entire period between March 2011 and December 2011 as I said, "Total volume for the period March through December 2011 was a little over 63,000,000 shares (tens of millions)."
The actual TOTAL volume for that time period (March - December 2011) was 63,471,000 shares.
Regarding the September timing, the following statements were all issued prior to that.
> On March 17, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG will effectively move into economically viable mineral production in the very near term, the first mineral extraction being gold."
It is now more than 14 months later and NO gold production
> On April 26, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG intends to commence mineral production within the next 3 months, the first mineral being gold."
It is now more than a YEAR later and NO gold production.
> On May 24, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG intends to commence alluvial surface mining for its gold extraction activities, where the soil and ore bearing gold is very close to the surface, eliminating the need to dig deep into the earth."
It is now almost a YEAR later and NO gold production.
Then there are those that I did not include earlier....
> On July 21, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, anticipates commencing its own organic alluvial surface gold mining operations in the near future"
> On August 30, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "With the price of gold soaring to $1800 an ounce recently, we believe that the timing could not be better for TAG-Z to commence its own mining operations..."
> On September 6, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (TAG-Z), is preparing to utilize a novel, low-cost method for extracting gold nuggets from near surface deposits..."
> On November 17, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "Lantis Laser Inc. (OTCQB:LLSR), is pleased to announce today that its operating affiliate TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (TAG-Z) is set to commence our own alluvial surface gold mining operations. TAG-Z's first purchase order for a state-of-the-art HPC-30 Gold Recovery System is being delivered to Harare, Zimbabwe the week of November 28th with full-scale commencement of mining for alluvial surface gold scheduled for the beginning of January, 2012."
> On January 18, 2012, the Company issued a PR stating, "Other viable gold mining claims have recently been registered, pegged and staked for Lantis' operating affiliate TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, which enables expansion of our organic alluvial surface gold mining operations as we enter into production this quarter."
The dates of the above PRs cover periods well before, during and after the September time frame.
> On March 17, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG will effectively move into economically viable mineral production in the very near term, the first mineral extraction being gold."
The stock jumped as high as .03+ following the PR. March volume 23,429,100 shares.
It is now more than 14 months later and NO gold production.
> On April 26, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG intends to commence mineral production within the next 3 months, the first mineral being gold."
The stock jumped up to .04+. April volume 14,112,000 shares .
It is now more than a YEAR later and NO gold production.
> On May 24, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "TAG intends to commence alluvial surface mining for its gold extraction activities, where the soil and ore bearing gold is very close to the surface, eliminating the need to dig deep into the earth."
The stock had dropped back to around a penny in early May. It jumped back to .04+. May volume 10,250,200 shares.
> On November 17, 2011, the Company issued a PR stating, "Lantis Laser Inc., is pleased to announce today that its operating affiliate TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (TAG-Z) is set to commence our own alluvial surface gold mining operations."
The stock had dropped back to less than .02 but bounced up to almost .05 in December. Nov-Dec volume was around 3,000,000 shares.
It is now almost six months later and NO gold production.
Total volume for the period March through December 2011 was a little over 63,000,000 shares (tens of millions).
I could go on as I skipped a number of PRs but I think the pattern is pretty evident.
If the pursuit of the Dodge Mine deal caused them to miss their target dates, why did they keep issuing PR after PR announcing imminent gold production?
Now like I said before, I don't believe I ever said this was a "pump and dump". Those are YOUR words.
What I did point out was that the company/Alf put out PR after PR, almost like clockwork, announcing gold production to commence "soon" next month/quarter, etc. I also noted that the stock usually went back up to around 4 cents or more after the PRs and that TENS of MILLIONS of shares were sold during the time period.
Now, if you interpret those facts as a "pump and dump", I won't disagree, but don't accuse me of saying things I didn't, OK?
You blame missing the targets on Dodge Mine, but how does that explain that they issued and missed those dates almost monthly? I can understand missing once because of the deal but ALL of those times? REALLY? Is Alf THAT incompetent or do you think he was LYING? It pretty much has to be one or the other.
RAZZBERRIES to the Mineral Oil King of Wal-Mart! Pbbbbbbbbbbtttt!
"What's the problem?"
With their history of issuing target dates to pump up the stock and then missing them, the problem is believing them.
"Gold production put on hold to purchase Dodge Mine."
You mean to say they KNEW they were not going to be producing gold but kept on issuing these FALSE PRs? I had it down to simple incompetence. You are implying they KNOWINGLY LIED, over and over again.
> March 2011 - "TAG will effectively move into economically viable mineral production in the very near term, the first mineral extraction being gold."
> April 2011 - "TAG's management believes that ..... the timing is good for TAG to gear up and transition to full-scale mining operations in Zimbabwe."
> April 2011 - "TAG intends to commence mineral production within the next 3 months, the first mineral being gold."
> May 2011 - "TAG intends to commence alluvial surface mining for its gold extraction activities..."
> July 2011 - "TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, anticipates commencing its own organic alluvial surface gold mining operations in the near future..."
> July 2011 - "With the price of gold surpassing $1600 an ounce this week, we believe that the timing could not be better..."
> August 2011 - "Tapiwa Gurupira said: "With the price of gold soaring to $1800 an ounce recently, we believe that the timing could not be better for TAG-Z to commence its own mining operations..."

If there was significant gold to be mined, they'd be mining it by now. Seems like all these PRs are just hype and promises designed to induce "Gold Fever". It's worked too as the price has gone from under a penny to 4 cents while tens of millions of shares have been sold.
Regarding Alf's misleading Bona Fides (which he included on the website).....
The "Qualifications" that Alf gave are quoted below. Below that is the REAL story.
"Mr. Pietrangelo has served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAG since 2010. From 2006 to 2010 Mr. Pietrangelo was CEO and Director of Rock of Angels Capital Corp., Rock of Angels Acquisition Corp. and Rock of Angels Holdings Inc."
Rock of Angels was incorporated as a WY shell company in 2006 and was dormant on the shelf until early 2011. Although the filing was "active", the company existed on paper only, it was completely inactive, there were no operations. He had himself slotted in as CEO and Director of the "paper" company. In late 2010, Rock of Angels changed its name to ...... TAG Minerals! TAG Minerals continued to be completely inactive until early 2011.
So he was CEO and Chairman of the Board, but of what? A couple of sheets of paper! What was he really doing from 2006 to 2010? I'm sure being CEO of company that only existed on paper didn't take that much of his time.
Is presenting false "Bona Fides" illegal? No, but it is certainly phony and deceitful and begs the question, if he is dishonest in this, what will happen when the stakes are higher?
Do you actually believe being CEO of dormant company that existed only on paper, with NO OPERATIONS WHATSOEVER, is significant experience? I don't think so. Putting something like that on your resume would be considered legal grounds for dismissal.
If they owned any mining equipment, it would be listed as an asset on the balance sheet. If they leased any mining equipment, it would be listed on the balance sheet as an asset and a liability. There is NOTHING on the balance sheet for the necessary plant and equipment. Do they say anywhere that they have the necessary equipment? Further, if they were near production, they would have announced a target just like for gold.
Of course, if you want to just call the "Mineral Oil King of Wal-Mart" incompetent, I won't disagree.
The "new" website seems like just more hype and puffery. Nothing tangible or new to offer.
Well, let's see some of what I know.
I know Alf said that revenues are anticipated to commence within the third quarter of 2012 for the mining of gold.
I know that targets for gold production were given several times in the past and the target time frames came and went and still no revenue. Most objective people would say that the company has a history of lying.
I know that Alf presented misleading Bona Fides regarding his experience and what he was doing between 2006 and 2010. Most objective people would say that Alf presented misleading information at best and was flat out lying at worst.
I know that they are a long way from any real barite mining and that they don't have the money or the equipment to even begin real production.
I know quite a bit more than that but I haven't got time right now to type it all out. What do you think YOU know?
Take your time answering, I will be otherwise occupied for a little while.
BTW, good luck to you. { 8^D
You said, "Yes.... everything is exactly "AS IT SEEMS"...."
Yeah, just like Alf's fraudulent Bona Fides. CEO and CoB of a couple of sheets of paper in a filing cabinet. All I'll say at the moment is don't be misled. All that glitters is not gold. Other than the "gold prospecting" they have no real operations going on.
I don't actually think I have made any claims about a "pump and dump" but I have talked about......
Regarding "Hype and promises"....
Red flags....Constantly shifting targets/goals.....Trying to tie the desireability of an investment to the price of gold.

That sure doesn't sound like a company moving in the right direction. I haven't followed this company closely but I have checked in on it from time to time over the last 10 years. It's always been one of those "interesting story, no performance" plays. Seems like nothing's changed.
Good luck.
We're overdue for the ususal fluff/pump PR from the mothership. In the past they (RRHI) issued a fluff 'n pump about once a month or whenever the stock price weakened. It's been more than a month and the stock price has dropped by 40%. So where's the usual fluff 'n pump?
Perhaps it's because the 2012Q1 report is due shortly. Not that Alf is feverishly working on it. Rather, the thinking may be, why waste the fluff when you have to immediately contradict it in an SEC report? Maybe we'll see something a week or two after the 10-Q.

"Maybe you should start to buy some shares so, you could have something positive to say."
That's kind of putting the cart before the horse.
One should not be positive because he owns shares. One should own shares because he is positive.
Regardless of ownership, one should ALWAYS recognize the truth, good or bad. People who ignore the truth are destined to lose money. The truth is always found in the past. The future is just a promise and promises are only as reliable as the person making them. If the person has a history of deception and broken promises, it is foolish not to be skeptical. Therefore, it is a good thing to be reminded of what has passed.
Good luck to you too.
As I said, that's not the first time we've heard, "hang in there", "things are about to change", "just wait", etc, etc, etc.
What makes you think this time will be different than the last time, or the time before that, or the time before that, ad infinitum?
Do you have any idea of what it takes to operate an open pit mine? The infrastructure required? The plant and equipment?
What do you think is the reliability of estimates of reserves based on just 5 test bores done in 1966?
They just swapped out "barite fever" for "gold fever".
There has been a long trail of hype and broken promises associated with RRHI, the parent company of RPTN, soon to be Mabwe Minerals.

John, I think that so far, the company has made a lot of empty promises. I'm not at all buying into the hype.
I understand your anxiety over the share price. I hope you get what you want and more. I think in order for that to happen though, the company must show progress towards its stated goals. Not just announce further "exploration".
So far, it seems the company has not been completely honest. Starting with Alf's Bona Fides and continuing with the constant shifting of targets. I'm sure others have noted this also. It does not engender trust.
Wow, GB. Where have I heard that before? March, then April, now May......just wait, right? I think someone even posted that they would "disappear forever" if we didn't see results by the end of March, or something along those lines. Guaranteed it, I think.
Reminds me of the company's promises about gold mining, always "soon". Funny how "soon" never seems to come, isn't it?
Good morning John. It's not "marketing" they need to do. At best that would only result in a temporary spike. No, what they need to do is MINING.
Investors who didn't just fall off the turnip truck know that "exploration" is often (not always, but often) just a cover to sell stock to the Rubes or discount convertible notes to a flip artist.
Pretty much what I've anticipated then. Nothing new and exciting. I really wonder how much they changed the new website since I saw it a couple of months ago. I guess we'll wait and see what comes of it.
Thanks and good luck to you,
PB
Good morning GB. Do you believe something significant is going to happen?
What I am expecting, in order of significance....
I think they might announce new finanacing, either a private placement or a convertible note.
They will probably finally complete the RPTN changes preparatory to "mining" that stock.
They might announce "Phase II" of their exploration program.
I have seen their website. Unless they have made wholsale changes, it's nothing to get too excited about. The "Projects" page is likely to draw the most attention with, "Watakai", "Hippo Pools" and "Odzi". But it seems pretty much all fluff and hype.
By the way, did you ever find what you were looking for about the presentation?

Thanks GB, I appreciate it.
Good morning GB, where was the presentation? Do you have a link?
Thanks,
PB
Good luck. Just because I don't think this is a good investment at this time doesn't mean I want anyone to lose. I'm just an amateur weatherman looking at the dark clouds and saying, "It sure looks like a storm coming."
By the way, did you happen see the old Raptor Resources Holdings website too?
Thanks for your understanding and best of luck.
I see what I feared has come true. He is calling you one of my "lackies" and accusing you of making it up. My apologies.
I really don't know what became of the Raptor Resources Holdings website. It had a number of pages with pictures and "Project descriptions", contacts, etc. I expected it to be back up and operating by now.
If anyonoe else saw the site and would like to describe what you saw, I would appreciate a post here or on the Yahoo RPTN message board. Of course, over there you will probably be called a liar and one of my lackies, so I can understand any reluctance.
Thanks,
PB
Hyrpowr, I posted a link to your answer on another board where kjb76 (posting as mbruce5873 on the Yahoo RPTN board) was accusing me of lying about the existence of the site in question. I realize now that I should have asked you first as he is likely to call you a liar too.
Please forgive my temporary lack of thoughtfulnes. I did not mean for your integrity to be questioned. I should just have ignored him, an action I think I will take from now on.
Once again, thank you for confirming the existence of the Raptor Resources Holdings site. Have a great day.
PB
Yeah, they all worked at one time. About the time I posted the links, they started to go down. I though they were doing construction/maintenance but the site never came back up. The last time I checked, the domain name was registered to some buy in Florida. Perhaps he bought it out from under the company?
Hyrpowr, could you please answer a question? A while back, I posted a link to the Raptor Resources Holdings web site. It seemingly went down the same day. You posted that the link had worked for you.
You probably don't need it, but here's a link to the thread to help refresh your memory regarding our conversation.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=72055519
My question is did you actually visit the site and see the different web pages before the site went down? You indicated in a later post in that thread that you had.
Thanks,
PB

Sorry to hear about that. I don't blame you for being angry about it. I think I'd have been tired of seeing his name from the get go. Sorry if I brought back any painful memories.
I hope you make it all back and more to boot. { :^)
Shaffer, why the change?
Nothing wrong with it. I'm not one of those.
Just curious is all.
Regarding "Hype and promises"....
Red flags....Constantly shifting targets/goals.....Trying to tie the desireability of an investment to the price of gold.
> March 2011 - "TAG will effectively move into economically viable mineral production in the very near term, the first mineral extraction being gold."
> April 2011 - " TAG's management believes that with the price of gold breaking through the $1500 an ounce barrier, the timing is good for TAG to gear up and transition to full-scale mining operations in Zimbabwe."
> April 2011 - "TAG intends to commence mineral production within the next 3 months, the first mineral being gold. Tapiwa Gurupira, local partner in Zimbabwe, and a director and principal of TAG added, "TAG has been exploring and bulk sampling miles of riverbed soils rich with gold bearing sands for over one year now."
> May 2011 - "TAG intends to commence alluvial surface mining for its gold extraction activities, where the soil and ore bearing gold is very close to the surface, eliminating the need to dig deep into the earth."
> July 2011 - "TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, anticipates commencing its own organic alluvial surface gold mining operations in the near future utilizing state of the art Extrac-TEC Heavy Particle Concentrators (HPC) Gold Recovery and Mineral Separation Equipment. TAG Minerals has employed its HPC equipment for the prior year to explore and bulk sample mineral leases and has identified gold deposits that are close to the surface."
> September 2011 - "Lantis Laser Inc., is pleased to announce today that its operating affiliated company, TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (TAG-Z), is preparing to utilize a novel, low-cost method for extracting gold nuggets from near surface deposits via a revenue-sharing agreement, with an existing holder of gold mining claims expected to be rich with gold. TAG-Z intends to deploy a team of "gold nugget explorers" armed with the latest, state-of-the-art, low-cost/high producing GPX 5000 gold metal detector technology in order to capture varying sizes of nuggets of gold, in areas not well suited for traditional mining endeavors."
"TAG-Z's management believes that this novel approach will yield Lantis a continuous stream of revenue without incurring a large capital outlay."
> November 2011 - "Lantis Laser Inc., is pleased to announce today that its operating affiliate TAG Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited (TAG-Z) is set to commence our own alluvial surface gold mining operations. TAG-Z's first purchase order for a state-of-the-art HPC-30 Gold Recovery System is being delivered to Harare, Zimbabwe the week of November 28th with full-scale commencement of mining for alluvial surface gold scheduled for the beginning of January, 2012. Mining our own mineral claims, as well as continuing to implement our corporate acquisition strategy of executing full or partial acquisitions of seasoned mining and mineral companies is squarely on track heading into year 2012."
> Yesterday - "Revenues are anticipated to commence within the third quarter of 2012 for the mining of gold..."
If there was significant gold to be mined, they'd be mining it by now. Seems like all these PRs are just hype and promises designed to induce "Gold Fever". It's worked too as the price has gone from under a penny to 4 cents while tens of millions of shares have been sold.
Yeah, but not enough volume to make a trade worth while. Only 10,000 went off at .0085 so the best one could have done is a measly $65 trade. At the volumes it's been seeing, pretty much any movements under a penny can be attributed to "noise".
Best of luck to you though.
6 trades of 250 shares each at 0.04.
Trying to manipulate the price with $10 trades. Oh well, it'll look good on the charts. { ;^D
The number of misstatements on the 10-K should keep Alf busy answering letters from the SEC for quite a while. Ya can't always, sometimes, hardly, never tell though.
.04 to .40? Highly unlikely. You can only get so far on hype and promises. Eventually investors start to ask questions.
They were supposed to start gold mining by mid 2011. They kept pushing it back and now, they don't even talk about it. The mining revenue was supposed to begin in mid 2011, then 1st quarter 2012 and now it MAY start in Q3 2012....yeah, maybe.
If there was gold to be mined, they'b be mining it by now, right?
