Good news for PVSP and WGAT. WGAT is the manufacture of the Ojo Vision video phone. HSN is the Home Shopping Network!!!
VIDEO PHONE OPPORTUNITY
>>VoX has signed Globalpreneurs as its marketing agent to sell the Ojo Vision Digital Video Phone to consumers and businesses. The Ojo Vision is a robust full-featured phone that runs extremely well on the VoX VoIP network. The video phone is very easy and fun to use, even for consumers who have poor technical skills, because it is a plug and play device. It plugs into an Internet connection and an electrical outlet. It allows people to see people that they otherwise would not see, and there is no one-or two- second delay in voice and video transmission like there is with certain video services that run over the Internet on a PC.
The Ojo phone manufacturer reports to us that HSN has ordered 1,000 Ojo phones, and Bausch & Lomb has ordered 200 Ojo phones and is looking to order 400 more.
VoX is in discussions with the manufacturer to be the carrier of choice. Currently, other VoIP carriers are utilized for most of the Ojo phones in service. However, those carriers cannot perform certain technical tasks, such as delivering video voice mail, and VoX can. <<
The majority of new users are $29.95/mo
Some users want only video to video w/out the voip and that price is $11.95/mo, but that is less than 10% of the subs. All the Globalpreneurs business is priced at $29.95 per month. Now PVSP will split that with Globalpreneurs.
The monthly service is $29.95/mo for unlimited video and voip
Arthur is a liar
50,000+ Ojo Vision video phones have been verbally committed from this company in 2011 alone. Big for WGAT and PVSP.
Mobile videotelephony will be the key
>>does wgat have anything to do with the mobile voip ? as that seems to be where the growth and focus is turning... not that its not an awesome phone also w plenty of rev potential.... <<
Rumors have Worldgate coming out with a high quality mobile video app that will be superior to anything on the market and PVSP would have access to this technology as they do the Ojo video phone. Good luck to all PVSP and WGAT shareholders!
You are correct
>>Bank: PVSP technology allows 911 calls and the 8.5 Billion dollar Skype does not...?<<
Skype does not offer E911 and CAN NOT be used as a replacement for the regular video/voip phone. The Ojo does offer E911 and better compression technology than Skype. Ojo is a standalone device where Skype is PC-based. Soon, Ojo will offer mobile and standalone technology. You have to check out the Fox Business News segment comparing Skype and Ojo. There is no comparison!!
This partnership is great for both PVSP and WGAT. The market is hungry for high quality video technology and a great network like PVSP. Like I said, a win-win for both companies. Here is the orginal Bausch and Lomb announcement from WGAT:
WorldGate Launches Ojo ProVision Digital Video Service Solutions for Businesses
•Highly Affordable, Turn-key Video Phone Service Brings Extraordinarily High Quality Video Right to the Desk Top
•Instantaneous Video Collaboration Increases Daily Productivity While Reducin Travel Costs
TREVOSE, Pa. (December 14, 2010) WorldGate (OTCBB: WGAT.OB), a leading provider of digital voice and video communications services and innovative video phones, today announced it is expanding its Ojo product line with the introduction of the Ojo ProVision digital video service solutions for any size business. The Company also announced that Bausch + Lomb, one of the best-known and most respected healthcare brands in the world, is already enjoying the benefits of the Ojo ProVision solution.
The Ojo ProVision solution is an always-on, turn-key service offering providing the highest quality video phone experience, on-demand, right from the desk top. It operates in secure network environments and behind firewalls, offering a simple overlay service to a business’s existing IP network, without any additional equipment or network changes.
“At Bausch + Lomb we pride ourselves as being an early adopter of innovative technology,” said Simon Woods, Vice President Global Technologies, Applications and America’s IT. “We are excited about the potential of the Ojo video phone as one of the tools to unlock collaboration at Bausch + Lomb. We have deployed Ojo video phones around the world and are very pleased with the results. We are currently evaluating the application of this technology to a broader base of employees,” added Woods. “It offers superior performance when compared to PC based video technology with the convenience of being a standalone solution that not only works great in our corporate environment, but is also a fully functional telephony solution for home offices.”
The Ojo ProVision brings video communication to the desk top with instant availability enabling collaboration with dispersed work teams, partners and customers. The increases in productivity and travel savings for businesses are immediate.
The Ojo Digital Video Phone incorporates years of research and patented technology to deliver high-quality video at a fraction of the 3 to 5 Mbps of bandwidth required by most video conferencing solutions. The Ojo Digital Video Phone will automatically adapt to any bandwidth environment, requiring as little as 150 Kbps to optimize audio and video call quality, allowing multiple concurrent video calls to be easily handled within a business’s existing IP network.
The Ojo ProVision solution is priced competitively starting at hundreds, not thousands of dollars. The Ojo ProVision is a turn-key solution that includes both the digital video phone and a variety of service options. In addition to the true-to-life video calling experience, each plan includes a full suite of traditional calling features like caller ID, call waiting and 3-way calling. Innovative features like 3-way video conferencing, connecting to a large screen LCD or TV and unlimited Ojo-to-Ojo video calling worldwide are also included.
“Nothing can replace a face to face conversation – especially in today’s business environment where global and distributed workforces are commonplace,” said George E. Daddis, CEO of WorldGate Communications. “The Ojo ProVision is redefining the business call and breaking any conventional or preconceived notions about video calling. The days of thinking that video collaboration tools for business means really expensive, poor quality and hard to use are effectively over.”
Work smarter with Ojo ProVision. It’s a fact - on-demand video calling saves time, reduces travel expenses and improves productivity:
•Daily collaboration with a distributed global sales force and/or workforce
•Grow relationships by working face to face with high-touch customers or clients
•Optimize efficiencies and interface directly with key partners or vendors
•Enhance the recruiting and interviewing process
•Instant video collaboration meetings bringing together multi-site or global teams
Get your business started with an Ojo ProVision solution today. For business agents and service providers, we also offer an amazing sales opportunity.
>>Best I could discern, from the filings based on dollar amounts, was approximately 10,000 customers being handed over. Thank you very much. Do you have a more "exact" customer figure, mulaa? <<
Don't have the exact figure, but Worldgate is getting out of the service and has partnered with PVSP. Worldgate was also going after the business market with their phone. The Bausch and Lomb deal was orginally through Worldgate, so now PVSP is getting all thr service revenue (unless there is a split with Worldgate). This is a win-win for both companies. PVSP get access to the Ojo and all the service revenue from Worldgate and Worldgate gets out of the service segment to concentrate on selling its technology and phones to the large players that want in on this very hot sector.
Read the latest 10Q, PVSP focus for 2011 is on the video phone they are buying from Worldgate and not mobile VOIP.
<Because of the acceptance of our video service, which we have just launched, we believe we will focus the MAJORITY of our marketing efforts in fiscal 2011 on selling the video phone and a recurring VoIP service plan. To obtain the service, the customer must enter into a service agreement with us and select a calling plan based on the anticipated use of the service.>
Some of you don't get it. The Ojo is available to any carrier. PVSP has a nice network. So does ACN who is buying the Ojo Vision. In fact, ACN has the largest video phone network in the world and they are buying the Ojo phone exclusively through Worldgate. If Facebook wanted the Ojo technology, they would buy from Worldgate and not PVSP. PVSP is another partner for the Ojo technology, period.
WGAT is not heading into BK. They decided to shut down their service operation and sell the video phones only. WGAT is handing over all their service subs to PVSP. That's good for both companies because Worldgate can concentrate on the video phone and PVSP becomes one of their service partners. PVSP needs WGAT period. I'm invested in both companies and both will do well, but some of you are setting your expectations too high based on the FACT the video phone technology is coming from a different source other than PVSP. That's all.
The Worldgate technology holds the key patent. The video telephony market is ready to explode and WGAT's patented technology will be in demand from not only PVSP, but many others. It would be wise for WGAT and PVSP to merge. Now that would be a strong player to rival Microsoft/Skype. I have used the Ojo and it is spectacular and beats Skype hands down!! PVSP needs Worldgate's technology.
WorldGate Receives Notice of Allowance of a Patent for its Ojo Video Phone
TREVOSE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WorldGate Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:WGAT) - a leading provider of personal video phones and related technology today announced that it has received a notice of allowance of its patent application for a video phone system and method. This application, containing 39 claims, all of which have been allowed, describes a video phone system as well as a method for making video phone calls.
“We are very excited about the allowance of this application since it validates our pioneering efforts in the field of video telephony”
.As originally filed, this application contained 73 claims. The balance of the 34 claims were declared by the U.S. Patent Office to describe two separate inventions, and accordingly these claims were re-filed as two additional patent applications which are currently still pending. These additional applications relate to video telephony apparatus using plural networks and the use of video telephony apparatus to deliver information services.
“We are very excited about the allowance of this application since it validates our pioneering efforts in the field of video telephony,” stated Hal Krisbergh, Chairman and CEO of WorldGate. Krisbergh further stated, “We worked very hard to develop a video phone that for the first time delivered a quality video communication experience in a cost effective and easy to use manner, and we believe the allowed claims in this application broadly describe such a video telephony system and give WorldGate significant intellectual property protection.”
http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20070427005598/en/WorldGate-Receives-Notice-Allowance-Patent-Ojo-Video
Worldgate's video phone is unique and is patented. The compression bit rate on the Ojo is the lowest in the industry. Carriers do not want high bit rates like Skype because it eats away at their pipe. Ojo is patented and it not choppy and doesn't freeze like Skype. Don't get me wrong, PVSP has a great network on which the Ojo will run on, but the phone technology IS NOT PVSP. Worldgate has decided to get out of the service business and will hand all of their service customers over to PVSP. Worldgate will sell the video phone to PVSP and others. The Ojo video phone has been in the market for years. PSVP and WGAT might combine companies due to their synergies (video phone tech and network expertise). Just trying to temper expectations for those that think the video phones and streaming technology are PVSP when they are not. Go PVSP and go WGAT!!
VoX Communications to Launch Ojo Vision Digital Video Phone
Updated: January 07, 2011
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Nov. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Pervasip Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: PVSP) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, VoX Communications Corp., a leading provider of wholesale Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone services and smartphone applications, has successfully implemented the Ojo Vision Digital Video Phone within its network and will become one of the first companies to offer a seven-inch business class video phone with unlimited calling plans for both voice and video.
Pervasip's Chief Information Officer, Mark Richards, noted, "We are very excited to become one of the first companies to be able to offer this incredible product to both our retail and wholesale customer base. We have seen many video products over the years, and until now, none came up to our rigorous testing standards of quality. The Worldgate Ojo Phone not only did that, but it surpassed even our expectations of what a business class video phone product should be. The user experience from the minute the phone is unboxed is painless and the device brings immediate satisfaction to the consumer from the moment it is powered on. The VoX network was able to easily support this product. We are passing the H.264 video stream from phone to phone and SIP messages on our network with zero defect and with crisp and clear video and audio. We see this product fitting a high demand business market that sits between Skype and similar products on the low end, and the higher quality products offered by Cisco and others at the high end of the market. The unit has RGB out jacks so that consumers can plug a large screen LCD into the back for conference room video conferences for a cost that equates to a fraction of the existing high quality solutions available in the market today. VoX expects to launch the product to both retail and wholesale customers in the first quarter of 2011."

People, please
>>In case you don't know Microsoft's purchase of Skype for 8.5 billion dollar. We might have better tech than Skype so If we value only one billion that will put us 40 dollar per share.<<
The technology PVSP is using to compete against Skype and others is Worldgate Communication (WGAT). It is not PVPS's technology. WGAT provides the video phone to PVSP to run on its network. The patented video phone technology is WGAT and they can sell to any network carrier they want to. Here is how good the Ojo Vision video phone is:

Here's is the NY Times review of the phone PVSP is buying from WGAT.
Return of the Videophone (Part 973)
By RIK FAIRLIE
WorldGate’s Ojo Vision digital videophone is an option worth considering for those who don’t want to sit in front of a computer or use a smartphone to make video calls.
Set up was snap-simple: It took less than five minutes from unboxing to dialing. You can use a number assigned to you by WorldGate or port your existing number to the phone.
You see video via the phone’s bright 7-inch LCD screen. In test phone calls, audio and video quality were very good.
The downside? You can only place video calls to other Ojo Vision phones, which cost $150. That may be a deal-breaker for many, although some users, in reviews, said they bought three or more phones for family members and were very happy with the investment.
The $30 monthly service charge includes unlimited calls (voice and audio) anywhere in the United States and Canada.
If you want to conduct video calls with far-flung family members or close friends, the Ojo Vision is a good option. Just be prepared to persuade your most-called buddies to pony up for their own phone.

WGAT is providing the VP to PVSP. PSVP needs WGAT's VP to make this business model work. The Ojo video phone is superior to Skype and PVSP and WGAT are teaming together.
>>>>In another instance, a carrier that provides primarily international calling services wants to market the video phone under its own brand name, and have VoX push commercials to the video phone screen before and after the phone call is made. If the consumer reacts to the commercials and buys the product, the carrier will reduce the consumer’s telephone bill. In this instance, the customer is not a direct customer of VoX, but is a customer of the international carrier that is using VoX’s VoIP technology<<<<

PVSP is using video phone technology from WorldGate Communications (WGAT). This patented technology from WGAT is superior to Skype. The entire PVSP business model is centered around the Ojo Vision video phone from WGAT. WGAT is a stock to watch as several OEMs are targeting their technology.
