FloridaFH I got an update from Joe today, there probably won't be any news tomorrow. Having timing poblems like Sony.
They are on the way, next studio will have more content up front than the Sony deal.
New catch phrase, that's great. Barry's not into going to hell in a hand basket.

The WB to be revived with new site
By John Consoli, MediaWeek
March 8, 2008
Warner Bros. Television Group plans to resurrect The WB television network in the form of a new Web site. On the site, whose working title is wb.com, users will be able to catch free streaming episodes of all WB-produced series airing on the net during its 1995-2006 run, including Gilmore Girls, Everwood and What I Like About You.
It was not immediately known whether WB shows produced by outside studios--among them, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Felicity and Dawson?s Creek--would be featured, or whether current Warner Bros. series airing on WB's successor The CW, such as Gossip Girl, would appear on the site. Sources told Mediaweek that wb.com will be ad-supported and that, in addition to offering past WB series, the site will feature new, short series and vignettes targeting the old WB audience, primarily women 12-34.
Each episode will reportedly run 5 minutes, with 10 installments slated. Sources said wb.com will have a beta launch next month, with a major rollout planned for this fall. One source called wb.com Warner Bros.? version of Hulu, the joint NBC Universal/News Corp. Web venture offering premium video content from both companies and others.
?We?re in the process of developing several Warner Bros.-branded Web destinations and will announce all the details in the coming weeks,? Warner Bros. TV Group said in a statement, stopping short of confirming specifics.
The WB and UPN networks merged to form The CW in the 2006-07 TV season, but several WB shows that moved over to the new CW lost audience.
If we can get Sony, please let these guys be next:

Disney Joining NBC, CBS in Putting Classics Online
CEO Bob Iger Excited About Use of Internet but Not Sure of Details Yet
By Alex Weprin -- Broadcasting & Cable, 3/7/2008 11:57:00 AM
Disney plans to stream some of its classic shows -- and possibly films -- online, CEO Bob Iger told investors at its annual shareholder meeting. Unlike similar efforts by CBS and NBC, however, Disney has not decided whether to make the shows free or to form a subscription service for access.
“There is quite a demand out there for access to a wide range of archived products, and we have looked for new ways that we could distribute it, and one way that seems pretty evident that is very exciting to us is the Internet,” Iger said. “We have started to use aspects of Disney.com to distribute some of that product, but we believe that over time, in the near future, you will see a lot more of that product available in varying ways on Disney.com, either for free or as some kind of subscription service.”
Disney owns the rights a number of classic shows, including Davy Crockett and Zorro, which could be streamed on its Web site. Iger said the company is building a section of the site that will eventually be used as a repository for the programs.
“We are developing what I will call ‘Classic Disney’ for Disney.com,” he added. “In the near future, you will gain access to a lot of that great stuff.”
NBC and CBS unveiled their own plans to stream classic shows online last month. CBS streams Star Trek and The Twilight Zone on a “TV Classics” section of CBS.com, while NBC streams shows such as Battlestar Galactica and The A-Team on its Web sites as well as on Hulu.
Iger did not give a timeline for when the company would make the classic programming available, but he said it would be “sooner rather than later.”

Some good points but as far as adding and deleting content it's mostly done for quality control. The content is removed for a reason, not on a whim, older content is checked over for any formatting and video or audio glitches.
Tyee he's small potatoes, plus Barry isn't into busting balls.
NICE!!!
Right away your highness.
Yes, also the ON/OFF button for Jenn, you could freeze her and get some cool expressions.
Lets hope Barry can allow the management team in place now to do their jobs.
LOL, I can't believe I was in favor of more content over a new website back then.
Hind sight is 20/20.
Lets be clear, audit three to four weeks, filing to uplist three to to six months.
That was a Joe D timeline, lets see how he stacks up against Barry's timelines.
The CC's are getting a lot better, each participant is informative in their own way. They should do a quarterly CC to keep us updated.
I'm not looking, well maybe I'm peeking through my fingers.
To me it amplifies people who want to short the stock, any gain will trigger a sell off and would be harder to recover from at the higher price.
Don't forget rltr is on the pinks sheets, not the big boards, we are here (us investors) for a reason, cheap shares at a good value. If I want to invest in a $.50 to $.65 there are a lot of other stocks to choose from.
Some President's Day fun, I'm sure MG will get the funds soon.
I'm going to contribute to the plan as soon as my funds clear this week.
Well, when Reel Bev comes back from New York, NY she needs to go and stir up the office.
Walk into MG's office and knock the latte and magazine out of his hands and say "WHERE'S THE MARKETING PLAN."
Then march over to BH's office and smack IPhone out of his hand and say "FINANCIALS" and "UPLIST".
Then wave HI to Jessica, Todd and crew.
Then call Mr. Crammer and get him away from his inground pool and say "WHERE ARE OUR BIG INVESTORS"
Sorry airdale1, missed the change.
That's the movie review blog. To get to the investor blog link , go to reeltime home page then scroll to the bottom of the page, then click investor relations link. Once on that page, under the header, the first sentence says "Investor Blog", click those words and your there.
Kind or a treasure hunt.
Reel Bev has been busy over the last couple months, she has left a comment on the NAPTE post on the investor blog.
Short but sweet:
Comment from: Beverly Zaslow [Member]
An update on NATPE hmmm... well, I'll tell you what I can. I made many trips to the business center while at the conference and left several contracts in hand with content providers. Since returning home, I've sent out quite a few more, and LOTS and lots of follow up has begun on all counts. You can never predict the timing on anything, so hopefully that's enough info to hold you all over until I can say more! ReelBev

ReelTime’s Beverly Zaslow Invited to Speak at Cartoon Network & Kidscreen’s Summit ‘08
New York - February 13, 2008 - Beverly Zaslow, President of ReelTime.com (PK: RLTR), the video-on-demand Internet Television network, will speak at Kidscreen Summit ‘08, presented in association with Cartoon Network. Kidscreen magazine’s annual conference is taking place in New York, February 13-15, 2008.
As one of today’s leading experts in video on demand digital distribution, Zaslow will participate in Multiplatform Mania: The New Landscape, a panel discussion being moderated by Doug Murphy, President of Nelvana Enterprises. Sharing the dais with Zaslow will be Diana Kerekes, Vice President of Video Content for Comcast and Kate Dean, Head of Television for BT Vision (British Telecom: http://www.btvision.bt.com/vision/index.htm).
Multiplatform Mania: The New Landscape is described as, “The transition from linear forms of broadcast to VOD, broadband, IPTV and mobile media has given way to a crop of new programming execs combing the market for content to satisfy their growing pipelines. Find out what these buyers are looking for and how their business models work, plus get a better understanding of the markets they roll in.”
“Kidscreen is recognized as the leading business publication in children’s programming and broadcasting, serving the needs and interests of the kids entertainment industry,” commented Beverly Zaslow, President, ReelTime.com. “Kidscreen Summit, presented by Cartoon Network, is one of the best conferences held all year long, so it is an honor to be invited to speak again this year at Summit ‘08.” Zaslow added, “I know those of us who attend each year all feel that the access we have to other top industry leaders in such a relaxed and intimate environment is the key to it’s success. We enjoy seeing each other to get updates on what we are all doing (from news about the kids biz, to news about our own kids). It is the perfect setting to plan out how we will move forward together in business.”

—————————————————–
My thoughts about it all:
The panel I participated in was presided over by Doug Murphy, President of Nelvana (see: http://www.kidscreensummit.com/2008/speakers.html?a=548659 ). By now, everyone who reads this blog post most likely knows of Nelvana and the high quality children’s programming they produce. Doug is incredibly knowledgeable in digital distribution, and was one of the first people to understand the importance of internet television. He was truly able to foresee the future and proceeded into the unchartered digital waters early in the game. Doug is an effective and no-nonsense kind of executive who has the courage of his convictions – a rare quality found in people in general, but even more rare in entertainment industry executives. Doug is also very easy going and relaxed, and approaches business with the same calm resolve.
For our panel, Doug had asked me to keep things informal, i.e., to present ReelTime and our VOD biz model in a relaxed and easy going manner. As we started, he spoke about The Long Tail (btw, a must read book on the economics of our business, written by Chris Anderson, see: http://www.longtail.com/about.html - and then introduced me as the first guest. Exactly as asked, I gave a simple explanation about ReelTime followed by a few pertinent details. Next came my colleagues Diana Kerekes from Comcast (see: http://www.kidscreensummit.com/2008/speakers.html?a=564292 ) and Kate Dean BT Vision (see: http://www.kidscreensummit.com/2008/speakers.html?a=614793 ), both articulate and impressive women, who each proceeded with extremely formal powerpoint and video presentations - ARGHHHH!!! Oh well, so much for keeping things light and easy – but it was still an informative and fun morning! The panel discussion will be available on audio soon enough, but just know it was a great session. Lots of good questions were asked by a highly engaged and interested audience of top children’s producers. It was a good thing I had a stack of 100 newly printed business cards with me, because after it was over I was approached by so many producers I handed out most all of them!
I think the most exciting thing I saw this year was everyone’s willingness to move into a digital future. While I cannot discuss the specifics of any one particular deal in this forum, I can say that talks with various children’s networks included some exciting out of the box thinking for how we will structure business deals.
I attended Toy Fair ‘08 today (Sunday) http://www.toyassociation.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Happenings_Toy_Fair1&Template=/TaggedPage/TaggedPageDisplay.cfm&TPLID=238&ContentID=4272 to see if there was anything of interest for ReelTime (YES, of course there was!), and have a few more meetings in NY tomorrow. All I can say is keep your ears open for upcoming news… I think it should be fun to watch as things unfold.

yep, seems to suggest they have a contract with a service provider, who ever it is, to be able to dictate what goes on the site.
I wonder if that service provider is a mobile based or more of a home based service?
I like the sound of that cmike and thanks Todd for clarifing the need to remove that content.
You don't grasp football either. j/k...lol
Todays news shows we have the confidece of industry insiders, Sony and the Indie film/TV distrbuters, can we get the media cover us please.
I certainly like the idea and don't want to start a spam campaign but if we can put a bug in the ear of industry people, I'll do what I can.
I'm no John Le Carre but I am going to try and think of something catchy to try and get the attention of these reporters.
Last Friday I sent an email to reporters on the contact lists of Variety, VBonline, Wired and CNBC, no responses so far. Not as easy as it sounds, so I've been told and can atest to, this weekend will look at more sites and may rewrite the email.
Great news!! Thanks for the extra info mrgoodtrade.
