AFC win...
Normally is a push...no corrolation. However, there is a corrollation with "old" teams pre-merger, says if an old team wins, 80% bullish year. Both teams were "old" :)
Could a short blow-off push DOW 13000?
Just looking for opinions....
Options writers...
I thought option writers usually win, not the buyers. But that may only be at expiration. Intermediate traders may win too.
One thing I don't like...
...is the VIX here, it's too low => no fear.
High put/call is bullish, but with low VIX, I don't know. Every stock and index has its own reading.
SuperBowl almanac says a bullish year no matter what ;)
Higher put/call means...
...more bearish, not less...contrarian stuff...
Competition?
Chris,
Come on back to RB, it's OK :)
Dave
GE is oversold, short term.
The earnings were not bad, and the intrinsic value is still there...investors will realize it's a value again at these levels (36.5x).
You are going to hold your shares in GE, you mean?
(Davepsc from RB)
Abandoned?
Low volume drains are a bummer.
News x 2 today
Mean anything? Accounting "problems"? Or fixed?
StemCells CEO Exercises Options
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070110/stemcells_insider_sale.html?.v=1
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Martin M. McGlynn reported he exercised options for the shares on Monday for 94 cents apiece and then sold them the same day for $3.50 apiece.
Wonder if they want warrants to expire worthless? How does that work?
Anything "new" in the report?
Hmm,
Then I would ask you to address oligarchsbye's post...
I want to believe, I really do... :)
Seems so...but why?
Pandey farts, news at 11.
Tax loss selling isn't over until Dec 29,
technically. Maybe the new year will bring new volume.
Pros - cons living post
Someone should continuously post a pros vs cons summary for newbies, and investors that just need reminders. Sorry, I don't have time to live here :)
But it should be updated with more than news links...expectations, estimates, he-said she-said all allowed....
Just a thought...happy holidays.
For us newbies to stems,
Could u preface each article with the relevance to this particular company? That makes it clear as day :)
Best take the money and run...
cause nothing new, only more exposure...w/o something really new, sub .02 possible.
IMHO
They like GERN today, why? eom
Forgot the IMO :)
The gap .01 - .014 would then be in sight. Psychological, technical, bottom feeding, whatever.
Better not close sub- .02
If your excitement lasts for more than 4 hours...
Call your broker ;)
I guess burn rate is not an issue for now...
This looks good to me...
