I agree. I am on that one as well as lvs and wynn. They move in the same pattern with each other. Keep an eye on ZUMZ this week. Their earning come out Wednesday.
I still have my BA as well.
What are your thoughts on that? Clearly the charts are bullish.
I see the dollar declining this week. It may be green Monday but look at that slo sto. Gotta come down IMO
Charts look great on this one. I agree that calls will be profitable most likely.
Not many pinks follow charts too accurately but this one looks to be following well. Like clockwork it bounced off .0008s and is staying at its support. The slo sto is curving up from the bottom which is a great indicator. Also the wm% is coming off the oversold. If the ce removal news is to make any difference in price now is the time to do it. The chart is primed and ready IMO. UWRL - Daily Candlesticks
I would choose NOC over RTN. NOC chart looks more primed for a rise. RTN looks like it could trade sideways imo. I still prefer BA the most though.
thanks for letting me know. Hope it reaches up there.
Ok, I will watch this morning and have to decide.
yes I have some. Just curious as to your exit strategy on this one.
Do u still have the 107's?
Did u get your Bidu puts or are you raising bid.
Could the FAZ be a good buy now??
Rhythm was correct on his green prediction.
Been flipping these all morning
Yep just flipped my USO.
True, True..
It hurts to look at that one!!
I suppose this ought to help oil prices rise.
I think that we have a good group of very bright investors here. If we clue each other in as to what we are buying and selling as we do it I think we can collectively help one another. It is hard for one person alone to spot all the "sweet spots". I look through about 30 stocks everyday that I am trying to get a read on how they perform so I can better spot the good deals. Prime example is JNJ IMO has calls that are oversold and good for a daytrade. Clearly, I am a rookie compared to Auroradude but I think we all have something to offer. Opinions are appreciated and don't necessarily have to be acted upon. Thank you for everyone's input. I love trading and look forward to learning more everyday.
Wouldn't this hurt the dollar?? Maybe that is why the dollar is down right now?
I have only been trading options now for about 6 weeks but it is definitely clear that taking multiple small gains is better than holding for the homerun. Obviously sometimes you get burned like I did on GES. But, it makes sense to get out on a gain especially if you see the market bouncing between red and green days like it is now. Too much worldwide instability for the market to have a prolonged green stretch IMO. Thus, for now, active trading is a must. I wish I could stay at the computer all day but that darn job thing gets in my way. I do maked it the computer about every 30-45 minutes throughout the day though. I couldn't agree with you more Auroradude!!! Great Advice!!!!
Sold my GES dec 45 calls last week for a double but looks like I missed out on much more. Ouch!!
I'm holding my BA 65 calls. They are dead even now so hope for an upswing!!
Thankyou auroradude and giantsbrian for the responses. What percent gain are you typically flipping at. I know this will vary but out of 100 trades on the FAZ what percent gain are you averaging for example.. Thanks this will give me a better idea of how to play it.
Brian and Auroradude---when you trade FAZ and FAS do you wait to buy in until after the market open in the morning. What I mean is that way you avoid some crazy news like the Korea thing that will make the market shift one direction or the other.. I am contemplating keeping about 20% of my options cash free to baxically "daytrade" the fas or faz but i need to know if you guys wait to buy in on same day rather than buy at end of day and hold overnight which seems risky with this volatile market. Thanks
Thanks.
Those would be the ones. Waaaay oversold.
MGM and JNJ are on sale!!
For those trading the FAZ and FAS---Which chart are you using as your indicator to get in or out? 5 min, 10 min, daily, weekly? Right now the FAZ is waaaaay overbought according to wm% and Slo Sto on all of the above.
Thanks. That's what I needed.
Loniee--Can the silver/dollar be traded on Etrade?
