Here's some information from a legal web site. Don't know how current this is, but you will notice there are different standards for each exchange.

Thanks for the report, MC.
I'm trying to figure what caused the sudden spike in pps this afternoon following the PR. There wasn't too much new information
for those of us who have been following the company. Perhaps new investors?
Good ideas, Allie. I wonder if "The Speed of Z" slogan (used in the ads produced last year) will still be used.
Let's try another one:
"Speed, Flexibility, Infinite Customizability: SpoozToolz. The next generation of trading software has arrived"
Hi, MRKCO. Spooz has a couple of "mission statements" on their web site. Are these the kind of things you have in mind? Or maybe something more catchy?
This is Spooz's mission statement from the front page of their web site:
"The Spooz mission is to unite the global trading world under a universal standard for market analysis, decision support, systems development, position management and electronic trade execution.”
They also state elsewhere:
"Spooz, Inc. is an independent software vendor developing revolutionary trading solutions for active electronic traders. Spooz's suite of technology products provide the most versatile configuration of trading screens, analysis screens and automated trading systems in a fast growth financial marketplace.
Spooz is a Trading Solutions Company focused on next generation traders. SpoozToolz™, SpoozToolz™ Pro and SpoozChartz™, the Company's flagship products, enable any trader to quickly and efficiently bridge the gap between concept and execution. The value of the SpoozToolz platform is that it enables any trader to create trading applications, including algorithmic black-box systems, that retain flexibility and customizability, are simple to use, and that facilitate bringing the traders ideas to production before opportunity for profit is lost"
Some merits that I see (All IMO):
1. Dedicated, smart, experienced management.
2. Working products that seem to be very impressive to knowledgable people who try them out - offered at a lower price point than competition.
3. Ubiquitous platform (MS Excel spreadsheets which are infinitely customizable)
4. Algorithmic trading is a growing trend in the financial markets industry. Spooz has a product that allows for the creation of almost instant trading algorithms.
5. Product is first of its kind in the marketplace, giving a competitive advantage.
6. Spooz is attracting employees with impressive qualifications and resumes.
7. Spooz is located in a global financial hub.
8. International marketplace - multibillion dollar industry.
Record volume for 141 Capital today.
Remember, there is a spot on the 141 web site titled "Track Record". Currently it says (information to come. Perhaps we will get a weekly report.
I have mixed thoughts about technical analysis. It only shows the past - and you are right, MC, it is reactionary. It shows how investors react to variables connected with the stock, as well as overall economic conditions and events. TA cannot forsee key fundamental events, and in that way, I don't think you can accurately predict pps from TA alone.
I guess technical analysis is a measurement of sorts of investor psychology - and perhaps investor behavior is predictable to an extent.
Just some thoughts! All IMO.
Thanks very much, MC. That does help a lot.
Songbird
MC, could you explain what SAR is? TIA!
Very interesting, Gbathat. Thanks!
In the TT forum, the TT administrator states: "Spooz may have independently integrated their SpoozToolz application with the TT FIX Adapter"
It appears that this is what Spooz has done. On this Spooz page (http://support.spooztoolz.com/docs/GettingStarted/AdapterConnection.html)
it states:
"An adapter is what allows you to connect to the trade venue you want to use to place orders. For example; using the FIX Adapter to send orders through TT FIX Server, you should check that the status shows a successful connection and that the adapters are open using the dashboard event log"
OK, this morning on a different computer I can see the screenshots - please ignore my previous post!
Looks like the screenshots we could see earlier have been removed:

Page modified on Feb 22.
Thanks, Allie. Great source - and helps explain why setting up shop is taking so long.
A logical and sound strategy, IMO. If Spooz wants to create a new standard for trading, the professional environment is the place to do it.
From all I can gather, Spooz is working hard to succeed in their goals. I don't think anyone can accuse them of not trying. Paul has said that they have a plan and are executing it.
MM FANC was around on the last big round of dilution from late 2006-2007. He showed up again quite recently.
I think you are right, archyis. Let's hope Spooz puts better security systems in place.
Thanks, Gbathat. Jim Hensel (aka Fedfunz) gives an interesting answer to questions that are perhaps on many traders' minds.
Thanks for posting this, Gmenfan. Some interesting information in there.
MC, for quite a while on the SpoozToolz site there was a statement about how initially ST2.0 was limited to trading options, futures and derivatives. I don't find that langage anymore.
I wonder if that limitation has changed now.
Here's the plan for retail launch according a recent PR:
“We are excited about the prospects for rapid growth,” stated Paul Strickland the Spooz CEO. “Our strategy is to fine-tune the SpoozToolz Pro product and to launch a retail version of SpoozToolz during the later stages of the second quarter.”
Hi, Imperial. This is what is listed as making up SpoozToolz Pro:
Excel® Interface
Templates & Wizards Library
Spooz Auto-Spreader
SpoozChartz™ (Analytics and Back-Testing)
Custom Pricing Module (CPM - Custom Synthetics)
SpoozToolz Dashboard (GUI)
3rd Party Trading Applications
Symbols Database
Multi-Broker
Multi-Asset
Data Neutral
FIX Compliant
http://www.spooz.net/SPOOZTOOLZ%20PRO.htm
Thanks, endub. Good to get that confirmation.
I read this last night, and found it quite interesting:
"For those traders who are comfortable with Excel®, using the formulas function to create algorithms is easy. However, for those traders who are not as comfortable with Excel, SpoozToolz™ PRO has strategy wizards and templates to achieve the same impact in building trading systems and strategies"
http://www.spooz.net/PARADIGM%20SHIFT.htm
In other words, you don't need to be an Excel expert to build algorithms in ST. I have used wizards in other programs which take you step-by-step through a creation process.
I guess Spooz is trying to make things as easy as possible for users.
This link looks like spam to me: http://support.spooztoolz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35
which is posted in the SpoozChartz forum.
The link which Rookie posted earlier looks like a download for SpoozChartz (not spam): http://support.spooztoolz.com
Thanks, MC. Sounds like Paul is following a wise course.
And you reported that Spooz said this was one thing that was particularly impressive to at least one brokerage.
Did you see the dashboard?
MC, When you were at the Spooz offices, you mention that there were workers fielding support questions, so there are customers using Spooz products.
Did you get a sense of how much exposure that the Spooz products have been gettingin the Chicago trading community?
TIA,
Songbird
MC, I have a vague memory of someone saying something like that. Don't know the details though.
Except I believe that Spooz sells shares to a third party financier at a discount who then turn around and sell into the market. Not sure what that discount is.
These are the numbers I got from the TA, Olde Monmouth today:
The O/S is 1,593,619,587 and the A/S is 2,000,000,000.
Songbird
Volume really low today.
Thanks, endub. John Unwin seems to be a good fit for Spooz. To have taken a job at Spooz, and sold his company to them for a rather low price (when calculated by the current pps) imo, shows that he must see significant potential in Spooz.
OT: Have just sent you an email, MC.
What's impressive to me is that Spooz is doing now what they always said they would do. The (long) development stage is being replaced by the growth stage, imo.
I found this intriquing:
"The AlgoServer renders SpoozToolz remarkably extensible and provides brokers with the ability to serve customers in a new way. Hosting AlgoServer provides brokers and clearing providers “edge” by enabling them to rapidly deploy automated trading strategies and algorithms to buy side customers who maintain a retail SpoozToolz subscription. AlgoServer enables Brokers to establish valuable new services to attract high-end retail and professional accounts" http://www.spooz.net/brokerage_solutions.htm
One way I interpret this is that brokerages who employ the Algoserver will have an incentive to promote SpoozToolz to their clients who can then use broker-supplied algorithms (or I suppose algorithms from other sources) in their trading. I guess the algoserver generates templates in the form of Excel spreadsheets that should be easy to transmit to customers
Paul has said a number of times that brokers' revenues come from increasing customers and increasing the number of trades by customers.
All IMO, just trying to think this thing through.
Hi, moneynmetals. The phone call you are referring to was Birdito's call to Paul Strickland inquiring about the increase in the A/S. Paul told Birdito that some of the increase was to provide restricted shares to new employees. Birdito reported that he said there would be a PR regarding that issue upcoming. Shortly after, we got the PR listing the new employees but share structure was not mentioned in the PR. IMO, that is the PR that Paul was referring to in the phone call. I am not expecting a PR regarding the increase in A/S.
All of this is my opinion based on what was reported. None of us except Birdito heard exactly what Paul said.
[Edited] It was posted by allie earlier this evening. You can also get to it by clicking on the Enterprise Solutions link on the bottom of this page:
http://www.spooztoolz.com/spooztoolz.aspx
Hi, Birdito. Check out allie's post #43849. It appears that financiers who have Spooz shares are selling them into the market.
IMO, things are looking quite positive. Today's PR and the new info on the Web site indicate that the company is moving forward.
