or $1.00.....
Maybe he/she got some margin calls. haha
I dare you to flip now ;)
I don't think GS would take the time to mess with your computer :p
But answer th question, yes. They are probably up to something as they always are.
Kind of looks like a low volume pullback. I'm guessing this breather is really healthy.
Me too.
112k shares traded pre-market. THis is the strongest premarket action I've seen in BAA in my time here. This is good news - the shorts are trying to cover before we get out of the gate and there'll be a number trying to cover throughout the day.
Today could touch a 50+% gain IMO. Let's see and hope! Our market cap should be higher than GSS by at least 3x, without a doubt. Let's hope the market finally realizes that, too.
For the financing with Bayin... it kind of stinks that one year ago, we were waiting on $100 million financing from that Saudi Arabian company which fell through. The delay in this financing announcement is what is reminding the market of that bad taste, IMO. This needs to be confirmed to the market ASAP. I'm sure management is aware.
Today, when I purchased my 22000 shares,(a measly $5k) I moved the stock 3%.
As you said, I do not think there are nefarious games being played beyond just a couple traders (or small group) who seem to know what they are doing.
The simple fix for this is EXPOSURE! We need as many people to learn about thi stock a possible! get , word out! Get some analysts!
Analysts? I think there's only one listed in your link. Furthermore, it is probably a WSJ analyst who we all know published that article a couple months ago with very dated info.
I played BAA badly over the past year but these levels are screaming buy. I am transferring more funds to buy 30k more. I will almost be back to the same number of shares as a year ago. Sad but true - I lost a bundle on oil stocks - tried flipping. I should've just left my money in BAA where it belongs. :p
The shape of today's trading tracks how the major's traded today. So, it would seem that Banro trades like a major... without the market cap of course!
This guy is a wacko. He's been advocating crashes every month for the last 15 years.
My feeling is that most of the manipulation is happening on the NYSE and not the TSX. If Banro is forced to delist from the NYSE, no big deal. It will be a good excuse to leave the shark-infested waters of the NYSE and get to a more correctly priced MC more quickly.
RS is a ludicrous idea because they are still meet the requirements to be listed on the TSX and that's all that matters.
Dilution implies they will need funding. They have secured non-dilutive financing already to get Namoya going. Once it is up and running (which it probably already is), with the low AISC for Banro Corp (and subsidiaries), they can continue chipping away at debt.
Take your fear mongering elsewhere - or if you are going to fear monger, get your facts straight.
Is this volume real? My goodness.... no one is selling. No one is buying. Stagnant
That's funny because after his 'appearance' here earlier this year, I told myself I would sell if he ever showed up again.

Fascinating chart taken from the actin Man blog - my new favorite. It is just a matter of time before gold takes off
It's really difficult going against the grain and buying low... i've got my portfolio split between BAA and some Canadian oil producers and it is getting redder each day. Hmmmm...
Typo . Meant tightening
I still don't understand how there can be more net buys in a day and yet close red (and by a lot!)? Can someone with more market savy explain to me? This contradicts my understanding of supply and demand principles.
Funny actually... gold has been falling since rates have been zero. Common sense would indicate that non-zero rates (or loosening monetary policy) would have the opposite effect on gold.
I'll reply for Goldismoney1 - "No!". :).
I wouldn't either... too much value in Banro to risk it IMHO. Althogu, that being said, I liquidated in June/July @ 0.28 CAD right when gold went into t shitters and decided Banro was too good to pass up. I am now back in @ 0.25 CAD?
DOOD! Wrong again!
It will be a Wednesday too! Is it that bad?!?!??! Hahahaha
You deserve 1% of these warrants for catching the error. Good job.
What was it? 80,400?
Not quite but his track record is worse than a broken clock! :p
Please keep things to the facts - you'll be much happier.
Just read through the Q2 report on GS* (http://www.capitalcube.com/blog/index.php/golden-star-resources-ltd-earnings-q2-2015-2/)
I find it interesting because BAA is benchmarked and shown in a comparison plot to it and a bunch of other miners - very informative.
"Randgold Resources Expects to Close Congo Mining Deal This Year" - http://bloom.bg/1jGhHCH
I think you are both right.
Yes, Banro will see approx. $55M in monies due to their mining efforts but due to accounting magic, less will be booked as revenue. :)
Guys - the universe is with is on this! Today, we rose 2 cents to 20 cents for a total increase of 11.11%. I think that pretty cool.
Don't trust stallion. It is easy to fake an email and stallion is pumping one week and doom the next.
Wait a minute... didn't you found this board? Why are you suddenly so bearish? Any political leader, no matter how hostile they are to their own people would never be hostile to industry... sad but true.
That 60,000 share purchase at 15:40 was mine :)
hahah - so lame. How can such an amazingly well-informed trader such as yourself not know that Canada's exchanges are also closed today.
Millionaire my ass. 16/16 good trades my ass.
where are you documenting your buys and sells? I certainly haven't seen anything documented on the BAA board, which may add to the confusion and doubt surrounding the issue.
The only one on this stock board posting their buys and sells transparently is TexasRambler.
No no no no! Your math is all wrong!
It should be:
28.8/16* $1124/oz = $1967/oz!!!!!!!!!! ;)
DOW turned red and gave up a 3% gain! What do those LMP indicators say aboput that?
Wow. This 'pullback', as the Calm-Eddies are trying to call it, seems a lot more violent than the one in 2011. It will be interesting to see if there are any real, fundamental reasons to this pullback - Lehman Bros anyone?
The real question is, when will gold (and miners) start acting like a real haven?
Haha! Good one!
That's why i've been buying back in! Good to be back guys! :) what a drama.
