We need volume to run. Spread the word in any way you can so we can get new investors involved with AMMX. It's a win-win for everyone
Volume is so thin. With such a small float, this can move easy. We just need some news. Hopefully, the company makes a smart move and delivers..
I expect this. People are trading AMMX as if it were your typical penny stock. Keep in mind, the stock is up almost 1000% since December. Because of this, a lot of people may be skeptical about investing at these high prices.
We need to let the news sink in, and attract the right "investors" as opposed to traders and flippers.
To add to that, Lee Hamre also said the profit margins would remain about the same as they are for there other operations (roughly 55%)
The $270mm deal is huge, and it is as good as it sounds. It's not just fluff. Right now, it is just a matter of whether or not the deal closes, and Lee Hamre seemed very confident that the deal would go through (which makes sense considering the timing of the CC)
Considering we have seen runs up to .008 on no news, I think the future looks bright. If we get another press release, the potential is exponential (rhyme intended).
Of course it doesn't affect the public float, but now we are not inflating the value of Ed's shares as much everytime we push the price up, so the market cap is more realistic.
On top of that, I think the PR was more important symbolically. The PR combined with other recent news and contact with Ed shows that something is happening with MYEC right now. I'm not sure what is happening, but I think we are at a pivotal point for MYEC and other investors feel the same. That alone is enough to push the stock price up. Remember, at the end of the day, these sub-penny plays trade on public sentiment more than anything.
The news is great for 2 reasons IMO.
1. This is the first time we have heard from Ed/MYEC in three months. Based on how Ed runs his business, I do not think this is coincidental. I think it is building up to something bigger.
2. The share structure is now improved Now that there are less shares, the market cap can be a better reflection of the company's true value. I believe this stock will now have more room to run. No need to argue about whether this was a "buyback" or share retirement. The fact remains that it improves the share structure, which is something I have wanted to see for awhile now.
This week. That was one trade and it is not even recognized by some brokers. There are no after hours trades so it may have just been a trade that was recorded too late.
I think .003 should act as support this week based on the great news and positive sentiment surrounding the stock right now. It seems like big things are in the works.
Personally, if this stock drops to the .002s again, I will be accumulating a lot of shares, as I believe many others will as well. Because of that, I doubt we will get that low because there will be so much bid support.
Once again, all of this is my opinion. Sub-penny stocks are so unpredictable that anything can happen.
It's much better for the share structure IMO. As the public pushes the price up or down, Ed's massive share holdings distorted the market cap, making the stock appear over-valued.
Additionally, it was my impression that Ed only authorized those shares to avoid a takeover a few years ago. If that is no longer a concern, he has no reason to hold those shares. It's not like he could ever sell that many shares at a decent PPS anyway.
Great idea and initiative. Let me know if you need help with anything
I try to avoid getting my trading advice from elves...it never works out for me.
btw I believe the future is very optimistic for MYEC, but I lock in profits along the way to be safe. That's just smart trading IMO.
So many people here do it but just hide behind the guise of being a die hard long.
That's a terrible way to trade. Essentially, that's just gambling.
MYEC is doing well, but I hope for your sake that you're not waiting for $1 to sell.
I believe MYEC could possibly reach that point, but you never know.
I'd be happy to get past that .004 wall. After that, if volume increases, we could see a nice EOD run.
Hopefully we can move past this wall at .004. Damn round numbers...
There will be a lot of impatient sellers who have not been as diligent about their speculation of the CC. This is completely understandable seeing as we are up about 1000% since early December. People can make some nice gains by selling on the bid.
Also, keep in mind that we probably have a lot of flippers in now after the Penny Stock Geeks alert about AMMX.
That being said, I am not selling a single share right now. It just doesn't make sense to sell this low after that CC.
Ask is really thin, so ask slapping can go a long way right now.
Notes from Conference Call (2/14/14)
I was about 5 minutes late on the call, but I started taking notes right away. Please keep in mind that I was not able to catch everything, and things may have been misheard. Feel free to correct my notes or add new things to them.
- Buying trucks in China, selling in Niger
---- Rationale
------- Half price in China
------- Chinese Government will help finance
---- Lee Hamre inspected the trucks during his trip to China
------- Lee met with Niger government 10 days ago
------- Good relationship
------- They want to give him the contract
------- Lee firmly believes this will be their first large project in Africa (After 30 trips )
------- $270 million initial sale with same profit margin (expected)
------- Next step will be to go to Niger when paperwork is ready.
------- Hamre will travel with Niger government to China to inspect the trucks to make sure they are happy with them. After that, the contract should be awarded.
------- 40 Million port project in the area as well (public/private partnership, but AMMX gets preferential treatment)
---- Working with NY based finance company to help fund West African countries
- AMMX is putting energy into projects that will close soon instead of ones that will take longer.
- AMMX has connections in the Congo
---- Congo connections requesting Hamre to bring in an oil drilling company
------- Proven source of crude oil
------- New business model, not just equipment sales
------- Working towards increasing Hamre rental fleet
---- After a recession, more customers want to rent instead of buying
- $23-24 million in gross sales back in the day, but lower gross profit than now
---- Used equipment has higher profit margin
- Acquisition Strategy
---- Expanding international presence in resource rich countries
---- New Equipment expected sales flat in the US
------- International sales expected to grow
Questions and Answers
Question: How much crude oil is in the Congo?
Answer: Lee doesn’t know yet
Question: Update on coffee business?
Answer: Got a letter of credit from CitiBank to buy the coffee in Ivory Coast. Was going to transfer it but the person wanted to change the LC, and Lee couldn’t. He could only transfer it. $3.5mm month transaction. Lee is only doing it if they have the money available.
Question: Can you go over the share structure?
Answer: (From Kevin) 1bil A/S. 520mm O/S. Management 180mm shares. 230mm float. 288mm restricted.
Question: Update on the audit?
Answer: Previously AMMX put a lot of money into audits, but discovered they had a lot of things to fix. AMMX didn’t have the money set aside for the audit in the past. Kevin will have the entire cost of the audit set aside soon.
Question: Dilution? Increase in O/S, what can we expect in the future?
Answer: No more dilution after what was mentioned today. Company had big debt to Lee Hamre, but Lee Hamre and Marty are accepting shares as payment. People are confident in the company so they are accepting shares as pay.
Question: Any more debt?
Answer: Still a little more, but AMMX is not behind on paying the debt. Kevin is managing cash flow.
Question: Update on 500mm Ghana project?
Answer: The project will be done in segments, starting in Niger with the 270mm deal.
Question: Is the full 270mm going to AMMX, or are there partners?
Answer: Just AMMX, but they are paying a fee to a local company.
Question: If the 270mm goes through would the company buy back shares or issue a one-time dividend?
Answer: Lee would highly consider it.
Question: After audit, are they planning to upgrade exchanges?
Answer: (Kevin) The audit should be completed 60 days after starting the process. Audit is planned for summer months when during slower times for the accounting firm. (Marty) Nasdaq small cap requires trading at $4/share, which is awhile away. About $50,000 in additional fees to be traded there, which is a lot for a small company. OTC QX is more probable, but a gradual move is planned as the share price allows it. It’s been Lee Hamre’s goal to ring the bell at NASDAQ since Marty met him.
Question: (Not much of a question. Guy goes off on crazy tangent about AMMX, but he’s happy about the stock)
Answer: We need to move on to other questions
Question: What is the timeframe for crude oil project?
Answer: Going in as partners with SAS congo. Lee met with them twice, and he is going back soon, but right now he is focusing on Niger. The project could happen very soon. A drilling company is ready to go at their own expense (can’t divulge the company yet because no contract is signed. They are a Russian company). This would be a new local business, not just an equipment sale. If it comes together, it should be 6 months or less, but no guarantees.
Question: Finance Officer said stock was undervalued. Can he expand? What value does he think it should be?
Answer: They don’t like to place numbers, but Kevin is confident in the direction the company is moving.
Question: Should the 270mm deal be done by the end of the year?
Answer: Yes, the first phase should be done by end of Q2 based on where things are heading now.
Question: How many restricted shares are there?
Answer: 288mm
(Random note) Lee Hamre has no fear that the company will go under. International business saved the company.
Question: What is your confidence in the 270mm deal?
Answer: Right now, it is high. There are a lot of rules and regulations for bids. Lee Hamre is confident that if anyone gets the deal it will be AMMX. There is always a chance in situations like this that it wont be for the full amount, or the deal could change.
Question: When does Niger need the contract to be done for their own needs?
Answer: 5 years ago. (Joke)
I have some notes on the AMMX CC for those who missed it. Maybe an odd question, but does anyone know if I am legally allowed to share them?
Lee seemed pretty confident in that 270mm deal.
Funny how a $270mm deal doesn't sound as amazing as it is because people were expecting a $500mm deal. $270mm is more than 30 times AMMX's market cap, and they have other deals as well.
the CC is great. I have even more confidence in AMMX now. the 270mm deal seems very probable
he didnt even have a question. that was weird
Same. Great stuff
Great call!
Who else is listening to the CC right now?
But CDEL is not getting any shares on the bid?
Agreed. the update was a good longterm move. the share structure is much better now.
The PR alone was a good sign, IMO. Ed is updating shareholders again after a long time with no PRs. I was surprised to see a PR for MYEC on my feed today. I think this is a sign of things to come.
What is the point of that? Luckily the call is pretty soon
Keep in mind that so many people have been acquiring shares for dirt cheap the past couple of weeks. A lot of those people can flip their shares for an 100% gain, which would explain selling on the bid.
Once those flippers are gone, we have more room to run. I still think another run will come today.
IMO, the only thing holding us back right now is that 2 million share order on the ask right now. It's not even worth ask slapping with that roadblock. Hopefully the seller reconsiders the order...
MYEC #11 on breakout boards
I'm not "investing" in PMXO; I'm trading it. I don't care about their fundamentals too much. I only brought up the machine because it proves they are not just a shell, which makes the technical play less risky.
Marijuana stocks have weird trading patterns and I still think this can bounce.
With MMJ stocks, it doesn't take much substance to see runs.
Just look at PMCM. The company announced that they PLAN to buy real estate to LEASE to marijuana companies and the stock goes up 400% in a matter of days.
Atleast PMXO already has gold machines. That's more substance than a lot of companies
This wasn't a business model switch - it was a line extension. The company made gold vending machines, and now they are making marijuana vending machines. It was a smart move to capitalize on the growth of the MMJ market.
I agree that the lack of revenues are concerning, but this is more of a momentum/technical play than a fundamental play, IMO.
I think we need to hit .045 to see a run today
Very nice. You've definitely done some of the best DD on MYEC that I've seen, and now it is starting to pay off.
Funny how AMMX announces 71 percent revenue growth and international deals and the stock price drops 41%
IMO, you'd have to be out of your mind to sell right now at these low prices. Time to acquire more shares...I just need funds to settle
But it improves the share structure a lot. I mentioned awhile back that it would be great if Ed retired some shares (http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=95710130&txt2find=ed)
so im very happy about this
There are very few penny stocks that I would hold for this long. I'll keep holding until I believe the company is fairly valued.
In my opinion, that PR is amazing. The company mentions a lot of global projects and clears up some speculation about other projects. They are on the right path. I think people need to re-read that PR and really let everything sink in
