Everyone has to make up their own mind, whatever you decide I for one wish you luck, it has been a fun ride my friend.
I don't believe so, sunspotter put one up this am.
Yeh, MSFT is a reporting company so he needs to report his trades.
They absolutely are, no argument here, did they start out that way? And of course he does.
In doing the very little research of the filings, did you come across any non-reporting pink sheet company MSFT bought in the last couple years?
Wasn't looking but you are free to check their acquisitions.
acquisitions
You think the VPLM BOD talks/negotiates directly with Bill G.?
Directly no, but if I said Ms. Hood, Mr. Turner or Mr. Brod, do you really think most people would associate that. Had I said Mr. Ballmer perhaps...
Not there either, interesting to see Bill Gates sold over 2 billion worth of shares in the past 18 months though.
I read that earlier, didn't see it, do you have a specific link to the page?
I believe the French, Spanish and Chinese versions all read the same way also. BTW, if anyone can help me out, I have been looking for a copy of MSFT Trading Policy, if you come across it, please let me know. I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Maybe MSFT has decided they are defeated, as i said earlier, they tried again and failed.

Exactly, Thrll. Cost. I honestly feel there is plans A, B & C to be considered.
A. Sell the portfolio
B. License the portfolio in a mutual agreement with as many parties as possible.
C. Dilute and raise capital then litigate. (BOO, not my favorite but if it means gaining full value, then so be it, this will also take a lot of time.
As much as i do not like all the options, at the very least, VPLM has options! Can't say that about too many pinkies i might add.
I personally have a hard time believing that he would be privy to any information of a sensitive nature. He just fields the calls and puts out the news of what his is given. IMO
You know, it would help if you included the proper names, or the complete names of these. It would also be nice if you are going to post something to tell us which ones are abandoned or rejected and which ones are patented. Regardless, this made for some good reading, my favorite however was for this,
Wipro Limited
System and method for securely authenticating and lawfully intercepting data (in telecommunication networks using biometrics)
I guess you forgot to copy the whole text. That's ok, I like the fact that this is a method for a law enforcement officer to authorize a legal intercept via biometrics, ie: his finger print. Definitely a challenge to VPLM LI Patent.
What is claimed:
1. A method for securely authenticating and lawfully intercepting data in a telecommunication network using biometrics, comprising:
authenticating one or more persons associated with a law enforcement agency (LEA) using biometric information by a telecommunication network provider upon receiving a request for lawful interception of data from the one or more persons associated with the LEA;
activating the lawful interception request associated with a registered telecommunication network user to obtain the data upon a successful authentication of the one or more persons associated with the LEA, wherein the telecommunication network provider having biometric information associated with the registered telecommunication network user;
intercepting the data associated with the registered telecommunication network user upon a successful match with a requested registered telecommunication network user by the LEA; and
sending the intercepted data along with the biometric information associated with the registered telecommunication network user to the authenticated one or more persons associated with the LEA via the telecommunication network.
Some of the other ones are quite interesting also.
Maybe we can say they tried one last kick at the cat, came up short again. I can't blame them for trying, let's be realistic, they looked pretty stupid by saying they had it when they never did. I guess the only thing left is to break open the check book and say how much! Whether it's by an inch or a mile, a win is a win.

They don't have their own patented version, that is a fact, I looked the application up again today and it received another decline in Feb 2014. So long story short, they obviously want the tech, and obviously don't have it, I feel that is a good reason to want VPLM's... you can find it on the USPTO PAIR site...
Lol, or try reading something like this
LUA's
Anytime, although honestly at this point it almost feels inconsequential.
Just keep plugging away.

And maybe that's why they issued a two week blackout and left an option open to extend if there was a tie!!!
Just keeping it real man. Your post earlier putting this recent PR in perspective however was excellent, somewhat turned the tide here for many me thinks.
I think you hit that one on the head! It's just a job and they will do what they do.
Ok, i am back. Thanks but i wouldn't say i have all the good stuff. Lot's of great stuff from many around here, tell me more about the mystery events in Bellevue!
Lol, and hopefully next is the lock up arrangements.
I have to say I am surprised that no one is talking about the other elephant in the PR, Malak apparently owns 40% of VPLM with 350 million shares, if this number is accurate, that also means that none of the recently authorized shares, "Up to 990 million" have been issued as of yet. This also bodes well for share holders as there has been no dilution recently...
You are right, the lock up is between VPLM and Malak. Remember that no one else can stop Malak from selling his shares.
Let me say it this way, all hypothetical of course and of my opinion...
Orange PLC comes in with an offer to buy VPLM, they have done nothing in regards to approaching the major shareholders (Malak). Microsoft has a real itch to get their hands on this but their attempts have not been received so well, (low bid, unusual terms who knows.) Microsoft does not want to lose this opportunity, they know that Malak is the major shareholder and approach him on the side, I suppose the conversation goes like this
"Hello, this is Emil speaking"
"Hi, Mr. Malak, this is Bill Gates, would you sell me your controlling shares of VPLM for $3 per share, that is a premium to the $2.75 offer they have received from Orange"
"Emil, heck ya, that's like $87.5 million, that totally makes up for the lawsuit against Cameron I dropped."
end conversation except, now Orange finds out that they will have a hard time getting support for their bid, they read this board and know that the majority of the shareholders want an average of $5 per share. The next conversation goes like this
"Hi, Dr. Sawyer, this is the CEO of Orange. We made you an offer to purchase your company and now you cannot guarantee us a positive vote in favor therefore, please with all due respect, pound it!" CLICK>
VPLM has locked up Emil because there was a chance of some back door action ;), or the acquiring company demanded it...
I hope this reads better than Wiki, he can be anal at times.
Definitely some nice big numbers on the BID!
One should read and understand the provisions for a lock up, considering this is not an IPO, we shall look at the back end of a lock up...
Lock-up provision
Ok so that was great, I just had an epiphany of sorts. In fact I likened you to Sphinx in Gone in 60 Seconds. Here is my collage of Jim, He always comes to play with some great DD and the occasional surprise...
Cool, calm and collected, always had a plan
When the chips are down, he steps it up and digs deeper. Bringing more tech chatter that offers more reason to not doubt "the goodies"
It just didn't matter, there was always a will to overcome
Then all of a sudden he opens his own mouth and this came out of left field.
He speaks
What I am saying is thanks for the laugh and thanks for the DD.
I have been through some, none as interesting as this however. The ones I went through were more about issuing results and earnings and were basically put in place for only a few days at a time until all information became public. I did go through one a couple of years ago were the company I work for announced they were going to reduce some costs to all of our clients. The stock price immediately reacted the next morning and went down for a period of time. Once the shareholders understood that this strategic move was to actually gain more market share and increase revenue, the price started to reflect that.
I would tend to agree with that, I just do not see us heading into the weekend without something, be it the blackout is off or extended. Sawyer is too good for no news.
I don't believe there was any, the volume doesn't support it IMO. Not trying to be redundant but look at the volume and the short sales. ;)
short to volume
More Volume and pricing
Sorry man, i didn't see this before i put mine up, not trying to step on your toes..
Absolutely, then we can all set sail upon Thrills new yacht...If he sends us the invite that is! I think it is this one.
90ft of pure luxury
If we look at the numbers, half of all shares moving (7,360,315) have been shorty, if we say that there has been 14,892,578 or so move since the blackout, that leaves 7,532,263 million or so of true shares moving. Not even scratching the surface of the total ownership of shares to the "Insiders"... But hey, what do we know!
Shorty don't lie
And for those that are wondering if guys like Emil Malak and Richard Kipping or even Carl Mattera would be included in the blackout, i would say definetly yes. They may not be BOD or even current company directors but they have close enough ties that under no circumstance could i see any of them or their asociates not considered in this blackout.
Here, let me give you this one, it seems to be complete in listing the companies, you may delve as deep as you want from here.
More resume
Well what exactly are you looking for, perhaps then we could help, specifics please.
I would like to elaborate my feelings upon that. I would not say they were a pump and dump back in the day, maybe it was, maybe not. I prefer to say they were one of a million, everyone wanted to have a start up VoIP company, much like the medical marijuana companies of today. Now i like to think of VPLM as one in a million, Malak said it best, "We have the goodies"...
Nice, don't forget to say "What's up B*****s", just so they know you are there...
Lol, they just might, but i doubt they will let the 20th pass without some form of notice as to the ongoing direction...
Are you going to sweat
Yes there is. Would you like me... never mind, here you go. Remember, don't always believe what you read on the internet, it's not like Tucker is writing this himself you know
More Tucker
Not BS, just not quite up to date. This one is a little better
