The Energy Department is out with a new report on America's booming oil production, and it's something to behold. Thanks to new drilling in North Dakota, Texas and the Gulf of Mexico, the United States is now pumping oil more than 6 million barrels a day of crude, up roughly a tenth since the middle of last year, and the highest volume the country has managed since since 1998. Not since Bill Clinton was busy fending off impeachment charges have we been able to extract oil at this pace. Here's the EIA's chart:

The oil boom has been driven primarily by two factors: First, companies have taken advantage new drilling techniques that let them tap unconventional crude resources, like the shale deposits in Texas and North Dakota. Second, high global prices have made those extraction methods economical. Even with oil tumbling these days, most people believe that companies can still turn a profit drilling as long as it sells for at least $50 a barrel. Unless something drastic happens in the market, we should expect this growth to continue.
For the sake of not sounding like a Pollyanna, though, here's something to always remember: we still import about 9 million barrels of oil a day. That's a hole we likely can't drill our way out of.

After we spud and before the actual oil hits I believe will get updates on the drilling process as well. .05-10 coming this stock is so undervalued it's funny. They always drop it down before the major run. MM have been taking it down past couple months on low volume and taking out the stop orders. Where months from CA starting. And Wyoming people will realize how much of a gold mine the 500 wells are potentially worth.....

We are days away from the drill hitting the dirt. We will run before this actually takes place from my conversations with the company it sounds like the rig is on site. It probably takes a few days to review documentation. I thinks she starts moving tomorrow and we get announcement NEXT WEEK. There are other companies with twice the float no assets in motion valued 2x to 3x that of GRPR this stock is ready to ascend back to higher ground and will build base for next month when the oil news hits the wires. It's obvious the MM's are trying to shake shares loose it's not happening were actually seeing bites of stock buying remember this will be a historic moment for the company. These texas oil wells are icing on the cake. The Cake is CA and Wyoming. Your sitting on a black gold mine if your a share holder. I believe by the time oil is ready to be sold we will back up to 100 range the Iran oil embargo which will commence and will move oil futures violently. Best of luck to all you in the game. Jonah Prospects

The Jonah Field and the Pinedale Anticline are recognized as the foremost gas fields in the Rocky Mountains.
