Just woke up, OUCH.
I am quite sure it will move back up, always does. Wish I had some extra cash to throw at it though.
Weekends are so long, $SIOR always in my head. GLTA come tomorrow.
Go SIOR
Thanks SE, sure looks like we have a winner here.
Go $SIOR.
I think I understand the math on this, there are major shareholders. At one point in the SEC filings, and I don't know which and am not going to look it up, the shareholders are listed it is the same information that can be found in the Intro message on this board.
The total shares listed are 167,790,407.
If A/S is 200,000,000 and we subtract 167,790,407, the balance is
32,209,593.
That is how I understand it.
So 32 million in the float. Don't know if majors have sold some but just the folks on IHUb own close to the 32 million
GO $SIOR
I forgot to watch last nite but just watched it now, you are quite right, I am not cutting loose of one little share.
Go SIOR
Ok, I am not skeered, sceered, or scared.
Would love to buy more but must stick to original plan only. Any time I deviate from anything that I originally thin, it turns out wrong, my plan was to use only gambling winnings to buy stock. I don't live close to a casino now so I can't increase my position no matter what. Perhaps it is time to pay my son a visit though.
I am not sceered.
I have said this before, each week since I have owned this (end of September) the stock has a pattern of increasing the pps during the first two days, dropping down mid week and finally closing on friday a little above the prior week.
I bought it to hold long and that is what I am going to do, no matter how crazy it makes me.
SIOR I love it.
It makes me crazy(er) do I hold it all do I sell some, when do I sell some, is there a JV or ?, do I buy more, do I go into a zero interest loan to buy more, will I wait too long do I stick with my original plan, will that plan be good enough or will I have to change my plan, should I be greedier uuggghhh how long do I hold. Should I just start smoking again?
I don't need any help with crazy, Thanks SIOR
SIOR I hate it.
I love that thought.
GO SIOR
Lots of my shares are in that range, I aint selling em at 03.
As of last week, it has not been implemented, this is per a call to the T/A last week. It is somewhere in the postings. See post #2480
At least if they dump, I can get some more cheap shares, as if 2 pennies is not cheap already, I am hoping it eventually runs to a quarter but a buck would be awesome. Still gonna hold long, all my investment was from gambling winnings so I have nothing to lose.
Go SIOR
Someone called the T/A and confirmed that had not happened. There were only the 200,000,000 issued.
I am a newbie so I have no idea what any of it means, I only have the idea that SIOR will do very well.
For those keeping count , me for example, we are at 25 mil shares held by IHUB members that have reported.
GO SIOR
Geo, you sure found a lot of change in that couch.
Even greener with envy here, now count is over 15 million shares with IHUB members and there were only 200,000,000 issued with insiders holding most of them.
GO SIOR
Wow, I see retirement and a good one. I am green with envy.
So as of this count, it is slightly over 5 million shares held by Ihub members that have reported in.
Go SIOR
Now total is up to 3.2 mil. owned by IHub members, not for sale.
Go SIOR
So the total as of this post is 2.6 mil not for sale.
I wish like crazy that I held a million, but it is a quarter mil so I am satisfied. So now we are at 2.25 mil. anyone else?
Go SIOR
I wonder how many shares are still left? This is so fun watching.
Ditto.
GO SIOR
Geo, I do not recall seeing any SEC filing beyond 8-17-11, can you point me in the right direction?
I love this stock,it will make a poor slacker very well off.
GO SIOR
It's awesome to see this action,

International oil and gas players are diving into the growing Mississippian play of northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
Oklahoma City-based Sand Ridge Energy Inc. is selling drilling rights to 363,636 acres in the Mississippian to Spanish company Repsol YPF. SandRidge said it will receive $250 million in cash and $750 million obligated toward drilling development that the company hopes to satisfy in three years.
“We are excited to announce this joint venture with Repsol, a global energy leader, and we are pleased that they share our confidence in the development potential of this vast Mississippian oil play,” SandRidge CEO Tom Ward said in a statement. “We compare the scope of this play to the Bakken and believe it will be transformational for the Mid-Continent region of the United States.”
The joint venture excludes all wells and acreage in the covered area drilled before Jan. 1 and all wells and acreage associated with SandRidge Mississippian Trust I.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter, subject to closing conditions.
The Mississippian lime formation has attracted oil and gas explorers to once abandoned fields now made oil-rich properties through horizontal drilling. Sand Ridge helped lead the way, drilling 195 horizontal wells – nearly half of those drilled in the play so far, according to reports.
Tulsa-based Eagle Energy also has extensive holdings in the Mississippian, producing 4,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day as of September. Chesapeake Energy Corp. and Devon and Energy Corp., both based in Oklahoma City, also are investing in the Mississippian region.
“I think it’s probably the hottest play going in the country,” Eagle CEO Steve Antry told the Tulsa World in September.
RAM Resources Inc., a Tulsa-based producer, is exploring wells within a Mississippi chat formation in Osage County. Longtime Houston oilman Floyd Wilson, who is leading a $550 million recapitalization of RAM, wants to focus much of the company’s energies in that formation.
Wildcatters are drawn to the oil-rich mixture in the mature fields of the Mississippian. Some estimate production there at 50 percent to 52 percent oil.
SandRidge will sell Repsol an approximately 25 percent non-operated working interest in its Mississippian extension in western Kansas and a 16 percent non-operated working interest in its original play.
I am so pleased that I stumbled onto SIOR, ideally it will make us pretty rich, or at least much better off, I wish I had bought more but a 1/4 mil was affordable for me.
GO SIOR
Thanks for all your knowledge sharing Geo, this sounds very good for shareholders.
Go SIOR
This makes me wonder what direction they might go, JV, drill, both, which is better?
Either way I love this stock it's always green for me.
GO SIOR
Another roller coaster day, wish I been around and got some of the lower price shares, glad it is staying in this range. Keep moving up SIOR
That would be excellent. Go $SIOR
Thanks Geo, your information is always very valuable, lets hope everyone with SIOR has played their cards right too.
Go SIOR
I found this on Tulsa world, for December 1 Intent to drill. To me it signifies they are moving along.
Garfield: Blue Dolphin Production LLC, TRANSFER OF OPERATORSHIP TO SUPERIOR OIL and GAS LLC, S/2 N/2 NE/4 SE/4 of 23-24N-08W, Earl No. 1 Well.
Thanks G-G, I knew that the transactions are not in real time, at least on the OTC stocks. I am just beginning to step outside doing more than just buying at market price.
Since I have been watching how the stock trades and I am cheap so I don't pay for any of the other kind of charts, I was guessing.
I placed a buy order for a little less than the PPS that was showing at the time good for the day as a limit order only part was filled at my limit order and part was filled at less but both within seconds of each other. The whole thing took under 15 seconds.
Had to sell a POS stock from the big board that has been doing nothing but losing, now I finally have a great position in SIOR and as long as it continues it's climb, I will recover my losses.
Go SIOR
I use Schwab, always 8.95 and so far they have had no issue on the pennies. I may not trade the same way as others but I never have a problem.
Could anyone with knowledge G-G maybe, if you have forgiven me, explain how I was able to purchase 1/4 of the shares I bought today at lower than my bid price?
GO SIOR
Actually, the negative aspects are good to review as well, easier to make an informed decision on points we may have overlooked.
Hoping SIOR will benefit everyone.
Well it was a bit early when I posted before. Now I read it again and find I combined several things I had read last night, SEC filings, Ihub posts, OCC info. This OCC info I listed here was the last thing I read last night and is not actually relevant to the Weiss Family, I combined many thoughts and started my post with those thoughts in mind. I apologize for any confusion.
My last thought was that things like these causes probably help in the delay of any news.
GLTYA GO SIOR
I believe this is correct now that I have read your explanation.
Last night I ran across some information from The Oklahoma Corporation Commission regarding this and was not quite sure what to think.
What I initally found was that on 11-8-11 The OCC had listed the meetings that were to go on with an ALJ that day regarding pending causes that they were to review that day.
One was cause #201000062, the other is 201000084. There was not much information to go on other than the docket indicated these were for compliance issues.
I Googled Oklahoma Corporation Commission Cause 201000062 and found the summary of what had happened with Weiss/Guttman and the compliance issues, which appear to lead to further compliance issue cause 201000084. I was not able to locate anything on cause 201000084.
Perhaps someone more saavy can find more but with what I read and what WCD posted, this makes sense.
D/D should be done by anyone looking to get into SIOR, the information is clearly available on the web site in the press releases.
The produced crude varies from API gravities of 20 to 30 and a mix of half sour and half sweet.
It will be the same oil that the other oil comapnies in that area are finding since Superior is in the same place.
Thanks Geo, my line of thinking was a nudge more or less regarding the SEC but I am sure they really have better things to do and mentioned that in my email. I remember much of what I read but had forgotten about PR's vs SEC that I believe you had mentioned earlier. I will continue to practice patience.
