Long..."$7+ within a few years"...or "$5 by the end of this year"? I think I will choose option C and hope you just have low expectations for this stock.
drbio: It is the facts of life...it will correct and present other opportunities.
Braden: I generally think this rally started around .60, and you think you see a triple+ in the near future? I have no idea how to put a value on the last PR? Could be?
If so, than a pull back to the 1.30 level would seem appropriate.
We will get it...and you all know the trick or fun of it...is timing your buy close to or at the bottom of the correction. What is the standard rule of thumb? 50%? But from what point? How much is it going to run tomorrow and Thursday?
It is a little early...but I am thinking a solid correction might take it back down to the high 80's- low 90's...assuming this run will top out around 1.15-1.20 without any additonal news.
It is unlikely that it will be a straight climb up, or daily as you say. There should be a correction this week or next. It is coming....it is just a matter of when? No need to go back to the strategies of 2000!
Now the runup makes sense....good news was leaking and/or insider buying.
I think I see the starting pistol being raised...
It does sound like the skooby fan club is growing...or at least getting closer to his estimates some months (or years?) back. Who knows...6 more months and maybe those numbers may change again?
Yup, mere fluff pieces are not going to work...most of the investors have caught on. We need signed contracts.
puppman. I think your definition of potential and my definition of potential are different. There will be potential revenues once something is signed...till then...it is just speculation.
puppman: Because the PR really does not say anything. It talks about potential...something that "may" happen, but it has not happened yet. They have done these before, only to have it fall flat.
At first glance it sounds great...but when you look at what they are saying, nothing has happened "yet"! I don't understand why companies even release these types of PR's if they are serious about it?
When they report SIGNED contracts and agreements...than we can get excited.
Yep, talk is cheap and I think the investors are worn out on it...they need to post some numbers, then this stock will move.
Why does this sound like a multilevel marketing plan?
I hope you are right...I get very spooked about the cash problem and don't really know if we understand the severity of the problem?
And it closes up! Go figure?
With the bottom dropping out of the price...I am looking for a PR or bit of really negative news.
puppman: Sadly, "working as hard as he can on this company" means nothing. The biggest idiot can work as hard as he can and still drive it right into the ground.
I had all but given up on this stock and good or bad, you gave me a small ray of hope. But, we have heard these promises before...we shall know shortly.
Hip, hip, hooray!
giff: If you figure a very basic 25x earnings for a growth company..... .20 is looking very cheap with your numbers. I think at current projected numbers, we should be around .20-.23 a share.
At .04eps for 2006, we should start looking north of a dollar.
One step at a time though.
Is the market open on Monday?
Thanks for the clarification.
hogger: Hmmmmm, when exactly was cygx at $3.00 a few months back? Could you give me the day it hit $3. Thanks.
percy: Looks like you are catching up to Skooby.
Chartist and bashers skip this post. It looks like SYTE could easily be throwing off $1M by the end of 2006 and assuming 85,000,000 shares outstanding and using a conservative 25x earnings....we should be looking at .29ps.
Sign a few more deals, retire a few more shares...who knows?
As the market interprets the developments and places a "value" on it, through the open market.
Many people make a living by seeing more or less "value" in a stock where the general market does not!
Well... in truth...the share price is the market perception of the companies performance and prospects. It really is a forward looking number, not an indicator of history.
skoob: It would appear that you are correct...he would rather complain about it, than actually do something constructive and find out the answer. Maybe he is afraid of what the answer might be?
Bigworld...you can still ask the question if it really bothers you...just pick up the phone and call them.
So Lady, those 25,000 dollars equates to how many "units" of product? A 1,000? 1,500? So they are expecting 2,000-3,000 orders out of the Thailand region?
pupp: Unfortunately, Lubedude has proven talk is cheap...he needs to put up some results. And something much more than sales of $19,000 with margins of 68%...those numbers are meaningless.
CD; Gee everything passed....surprise, surprise. Where is all the big bad news you keep talking about?
CD: Well lucky us, if you are sticking around. I guess it is not as hopeless as you like to say it is, over and over and over... but, you have a funny way of fighting "to improve things".
CD: Are you really that naive or are just on someone’s payroll?
happy: Nope, no personal relationships or inside knowledge. And every time I think I have some divine ability to always see winners, I prove myself wrong.
I can say that I never invest in just a product. But when I lose faith in management/BOD, I run like hell, go short, or change management. I just don't sit around crapping on everyone and everything thinking that is going to make the situation better.
notsohappy: : When you say you have lost all faith in management, still has me scratching my head why you are here? Unless management is leaving, you have no hope and consequently a bad investment. And I don't see them going anywhere.
Options or no options, it would make no difference to you because they are still running the company.
CD. Any investor that invests in the technology and not the management is making a huge, rookie mistake. Good luck with the investment philosophy. Ya better be damn lucky.
Notsohappy. Gee, the stockholders do own the company. And, the majority rules.
8. Why does happycamper remain an investor in CYGS?
Large volumne...but narrow range and closes unchanged.
Hmmmmmm.....
I have quite a bit more shares than that...and no one else here. Also, no message.
Interesting...I have yet to receive one call. There can't be that much of a panic.
