I'll do some additional research on it and let you know if I find anything substantial.
I've been well, thanks. I've had awesome days so far this week. I am so excited for Thursday and Friday. I'm playing some earnings and they are looking good building up to it.
You'll have to try it sometime. It's pretty good. How was your trip to Ghana? Are you back in the States?
Good read, morpheus! Thanks, as always!
You're very welcome! Thank YOU!!! :)
Great read, morph! :)
Awesome! Can't wait to read it! :)
Yep; it contains all of the essential amino acids too. Funny, though, that when I went to the doctor's office in December, we were talking about working out and stuff and I mentioned quinoa to him. He had never heard of it. Huh????? Oh yeah - and it's kind of hard to find at the grocery store. There is usually just one little section; no choices, you just buy plain ole quinoa.
Have a safe trip!!!
You're very welcome, AD. Yes, I have heard that it is pretty resilient. When I first read about it, I did a bunch of research on the health benefits and came across info about growing it. What is surprising is that it's kind of expensive at the grocery store. It's about four times the price of rice. A box makes a ton, though, and it's so healthy that it's worth it to me.
Nice call, LB! GM!
Yum! I agree - very good with veggies! :)
I do!!! It is a seed that contains lots of protein and amino acids. It's really good, even for diabetics, because it does not elevate blood glucose like, for instance, white rice. I make it often. I boil it (like rice) until it is tender. Then, I add soy sauce and use it with meat and veggies, kind of like a stir fry. I've also read that you can make things like rice pudding with it, but have not tried it yet. I have some in the pantry right now - I'm getting hungry just typing this! :)
Wake up, AD!!!!!!!!! :)
Thanks! Ouch; but it's worth it if it's profitable. Have a good night!
Hahahaha! I told you I was a nerd! I obviously need some sleep - my dorky side especially comes out when I'm tired. Have a good night, AD!
Go ATM! :)
LOL!!!!! Maybe I'll think of something else besides a crystal ball to ask Santa for then. :)
That's scary about your workload. It has been a great indicator. I just have a feeling that we are going to see "the big downer" in about a month. I made a list earlier today for some options I want to buy a little further out. Not too far that time decay gets me, but far enough that I can be sitting pretty if the market does what I think it will do. I'm thinking about asking Santa for a crystal ball this year; it sure would come in handy. :)
Wish her luck from me, please. Although, she certainly doesn't need luck; she is AMAZING!!!!!!! :)
Thanks, DA. I wish I could not look in my 401K account for a month or so, but I have this huge fear that I will look and it will be zero. :)
I may have made some boneheaded buys today thinking the sky was falling and trying to bottom feed. We shall see if I was a dunce or a genius. At least I am sitting on some cash to average down if necessary. I need to do some more work on buying on big down days. I thought I had a grasp on what I would do, but what I did may not have been the best thing afterall.
Thank you for the reminder about NYA50R. There were some great buying opportunities the last time it got below 20%.
Did they play against each other last year?
How exciting!!! :)
Nice chart, LB. Thanks! I can see it much clearer on your chart. I've been researching tonight on whether gold dropped in 2008 right before the crash, or relatively close to it. I'm wondering if we're going to get faked out thinking this was the pullback and then wham, down she goes bigly.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!! I love the cha-ching sound, by the way! :)
I've done that before; research something and end up finding other really, really interesting stuff. I've also found myself doing stock research and it's 5a.m. before I know it.
Yeeeehawwwwww!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, DA, for sharing. I've seen you do that with different sectors before and think it's a great idea. I'm trying something a little different in my 401k for the time being. I've noticed time and again that I day trade for a profit, but miss the "big one". For instance, I made money on FSLR, but missed the big gain last week. I'm going to try more diversification and then hold longer. I'm using my options account for the daily trades. I'm anxious to see if I fare better by being patient. Time will tell. :)
All these years, I was just a total nerd. Now I can put my "nerdliness" into good use and research stuff for the market. I love, love, love doing that!!! :)
When you first told me about your go-to list of stocks, I didn't quite get the significance. Over the last couple of months, I've found myself gravitating to the same tickers over and over again. Some of my best trades lately have been from the trusty list. I've had some good lotto plays, but they are just that - a lucky guess.
VERY NICE, AD!!! I have a "seasonal" list, too. I've looked at historical charts and have tracked stocks since last August for seasonal plays. It will be interesting and exciting to see how they play out when I start playing them this August.
Oh yeah! That's a perfect play for what happened in Boston today.

Me too!!! :)
SO amazingly beautiful! :)
Just saw that. :(
I keep that one on my streamer. I also noticed that NEM is up about the same from its LOD.
Lots of cheapies to be found! I'm loading 'em up! :)
GM AD!!!
GM ATM!!! Looks like some good buying opportunities out there today.
GM LB! GM ATM!
Thanks a bunch! :)
