You're right. We all know Musclepharm would never do anything without the consideration of their shareholders first and foremost.
Solidly in the 5s.
It's a positive for the lawyers not the shareholders.

Long overdue.
LOL - not 20?
You need to pay attention to the dates and actually read the articles. Recall stands.

And now Prometeus has discontinued selling the Musclepharm product.

Hey, maybe Jeremy Deluca did it.
And the stock price is solidly in the 5s.

Really? You might want to check your data feed.
Solidly in the 5s now. Nothing they are doing is helping the stock price. I see 4's soon.
Another Musclepharm spokesperson accused of beating his girlfriend.

Two more lawsuits filed against Musclepharm. One for sex discrimination and one for trademark infringement.
It's pretty clear that they cannot service their loans.
Banks work differently. Unlike shareholders, you have to pay them back or there are consequences.

Immediate? I'd say 7 1/2 years is enough time.
What do you make of the literally nonexistent volume?
Wynnefield Partners Dumps MusclePharm

No I'm not back in. Not sure what to make of this yet. Sure thought there would be much more to the upside once this announcement was made.
It may be too little too late.
I think Musclepharm would fetch more interest in bankruptcy that where it sits right now.
I'm a big fan of Tiger's and would love to see him do good. Who doesn't like Tiger?
That being said, Musclepharm sponsoring Tiger was and is a stupid move and complete waste of money.
Brad's sponsorship approach is nothing more than him buying access to his idols. That's it. He doesn't even get any use out of his sponsorships other than a picture or two on the website.
This is what happens when you can throw around shareholder's money with no accountability.
I just heard. As soon as Musclepharm starts sponsoring someone they start sucking.
This stock is dead.
Musclepharm have lost money - lots of money - in every single market demographic they have gone after. Instead of working to make their current segments profitable they hire someone to go after a new and different market demographic.
They have lost money with Arnold. They have lost money with Tiger. Another fitness celebrity is not the answer.
VEGA has carved out a unique market that appeals to the masses and those with high disposable income. Musclepharm appeals to a much smaller niche market with little to no mass appeal and much lower down the scale income wise.
Vega has created and marketed this plant based concept. Musclepharm simply copied what was already on the market.
Vega's direct competition is extremely small. There are 100 other companies just like Musclepharm, selling the exact same products - all of which Musclepharm copied and gave it their own name.
Vega is quite profitable and a very well run company. Musclepharm as we all know has lost well over $130 million with no profit in sight. And the management situation at Musclepharm couldn't be any worse.
These factors are very obvious to companies looking to acquire other companies in the nutrition industry. Insiders in this industry are well aware of Musclepharm's story and that's why you don't see anyone looking to take on their problems.
Yeah that's right because these guys would never step out of line with company money.
You might want to ask yourself the question - Who's been right so far?
Very good analysis and you didn't even touch on the damage that MSLP management has done and continues to do that will linger even after that changes - if it ever does.
Can you imagine what would be found if you did a financial audit on Musclepharm? That would be some scary stuff. Certainly scary enough to run off any potential suitor. It probably already has.
Sorry guys but no one is looking for a company that spends $120 million to generate $100 million in revenue.
But you can all fantasize.
They definitely want to sell but nobody is willing to buy.
Massive volume today. No one wants to touch this stock.
And the house always wins.
Doubling down is not an investment strategy it's a desperation move.
Let's see, Ford, Disney, Apple, Walmart . . . and Musclepharm. You've convinced me.
Product placement? Where?
Yeah that's it. LOL
What happened to everyone on here?
No don't do that. Just keep riding it all the way down.
Tiger Woods - worst round ever today. The magic water bottle didn't seem to help much.
I agree 100%.
Hey if the fundamentals aren't working you can always justify a position with technical analysis.
Back in the 5's and heading lower.
Like I have said over and over - scalp this stock. Trade MSLP. By all means do not invest in this company. Take profits when you get them. Don't keep giving them back.
