I think the number of shares, amount spent with very little return is the fall out of chair amazing! Unfortunately it is fall out of your chair as you're landing on your knees praying this turns around.
Based on what I'm reading it really looks like many of us were right about what was happening over the past few months.
All of this is in my personal opinion:
1) The PPS is dropping because of the hype earlier this year that was significantly premature to land acquisitions. People relied on WLs stated timeline and when that did not happen people became discouraged. In addition I believe there is something else going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of. If MMTE is legitimate and the court case has some basis it could be that there are some that want to keep the PPS lower just in case. I still believe we are seeing selling of now unrestricted shares - I know MMTE has commented on this for the past 3 months (or some definite time frame).
2) The only information we have on the earlier concessions are the information provided by the Chilean government. I consider it reliable; however, we do not know exactly where the information was obtained so it would be extremely helpful to have our own information.
3) This is one statement that concerns me and has for some time - MMTE has no problem announcing land concessions that CLIL obtains; however, they will not announce anything else. You are correct though - MMTE does not own land or have any concessions of land - it is all CLIL (at least that is what has been stated so far).
I have put several connections together and certainly did not miss it - there were a lot of topics that I did not list but it is not due to the inability to know the connection.
At this point I am keeping much of my information to myself mainly because I became tired of getting threats.
My overall opinion of MMTE has not changed and realistically all I am hoping on is nothing more than an increased PPS so I do not have as much of a loss.
Actually I did mention Manny Bello! Please see below:
I certainly agree that maintenance is a huge concern and can be very costly. The charging stations would likely charge for providing the service and help compensate for the maintenance costs. The storage batteries are also costly - although the government will offer incentives to install charging stations and support electric vehicles.
IMO that is why alternative forms of energy have taken such a long time to get a foot hold - the general consensus is why pay more for something just because it is 'green'? With the average increase in petroleum costs and a change in attitude towards the environment more and more people are seeing the benefits of alternative energy. I feel confident that lithium will become a significant market in the future.
Although the roadway panels I mentioned include a significant amount of technology I am not sure they will be viable. The intention is to run most utilities through the roadway (no overhead power lines, no separate piping, etc) - basically prepare the subgrade, lay/connect the panels and it's an all-in-one solution that not only runs primary power but also features inductive charging for electric vehicles.
As I'm sure you are aware the largest majority of power in the US comes from coal powered electrical plants. There are a lot of other power sources - natural gas, solar, wind, thermal, nuclear and a large number of other sources...experiments are even being performed on saltwater.
I know there is a varied opinion in regards to charging stations, some people think solar panels at the charging stations while others support the highway panels with inductive charging. At this time it is very difficult to say what the final answer is. Based on our green mindset it will likely be solar IMO.
Yes - lithium batteries are being used in the construction industry for backup power of many items. Large UPS systems are using lithium, backup power for federal security systems, and in some cases hospitals are using them for backup power but most that I"m aware of use lithium for immediate power and still maintain a generator.
Let's take it one step at a time - let's show an increase in PPS before we start talking about a big payoff. Once the PPS starts increasing then we can talk about more money.
Rocky posted old information that is only applicable to the formation of CLIL. It does not apply to the questions presented in my original posting.
So where are the concession agreements?
Many of us have inaccurately stated land grabs or land acquisition, etc etc; however, MMTE has only announced they have obtained/completed concessions through the subsidiary CLIL.
I think it is critical that details of the concessions be determined.
In regards to the effort to obtain these concessions and then sell/lease/barter to someone else is intelligent.
Concessions of property:
So the property MMTE has obtained through CLIL is technically a concession which means CLIL has been given permission to use property for a given purpose typically in return for something. This raises 2 questions:
1) What was the obtained land concession in exchange for?
2) Where is the legal document showing this agreement?
Now MMTE/Brian has already stated the finances of CLIL will not be shown since it is not MMTE although MMTE maintains control over CLIL. This is understandable, parent companies do not typically report finances of subsidiaries. The concern is MMTE chooses to PR additional land concessions; however, they do not reference finances. I think this is concerning!
I think this is one of the best summaries that I have seen in quite some time. Honest, complete and really puts things in perspective.
I agree with Phrozt - there were a few good answers. One being I am glad that an official answer was given to Manny Bello and it was a positive answer for MMTE.
I really think that is an excellent question - I would like to think it should not be another scenario where members of iHub find it before it is released by MMTE.
Although it is somewhat futuristic there is technology in R&D as part of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) that includes roadway panels that join together and provide commercial/residential electric service, solar panels and includes inductive charging.
Since it reports to the government they should become 'public records'. The creation of the CLIL was found by members of the board since it was a public record, I think we can find any filings the same way.
As pointed out very clearly by TBS04 in the post here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=65949542

This just states that everything ever released from Mammoth Energy has a completely open timeline with no need to meet any deadlines. In addition, it also states that actual results may differ materially from the anticipated results...which means a claim may be made for 15,000 acres but until the deeds are processed it may not happen.
Assuming everything here is in fact legitimate it is my opinion (which is backed up by statistics) that Liebs over anticipated when and how fast things can happen. This is not the first time we have seen this.
In regards to 101 Jr College courses - well I believe you are correct; however, in those same courses they explain how to do your research so you can fully understand the business you are developing a business plan for.
It may have been Liebs' intention to begin production by now but I do not believe he understood the time required.
Realistically the answer is no - there has not been enough of the mentioned items to begin production. If I had to guess it was Liebs' intent to start production but I feel he did not understand (or know) the required steps and time it takes to begin production.
The lithium cannot be exported but it can be mined and returned to the ground - it comes out similar to a slurry - contains lithium along with other the other minerals and such. Basically they would pump it out of the group, evaporate it, and keep what they want (and can).
Unfortunately Liebs' timeline is a bit off from others - IMO he is inexperienced when it comes to getting operations started and thinks he can get things done faster than it really happens.
I realize Liebs is on his own timeline and does things at his pace; however, he overstates what he thinks can be done in a specific time frame. He may have honestly thought land would be there and then production would go right behind it.
I have contacted Mr. Miller and have heard that they are in the process of creating a new website. It is now up and running.
Check out the new layout:
http://www.niassociation.com/
One thing to keep in mind is people said the exact same thing about cell phone towers years ago. Public agencies fought against them claiming they were eyesores, etc. That has been resolved, people have changed their attitudes towards them and we continue to have cell service expanded across the US.
If someone purchases any object for their property that can be seen by others (especially in cities or large towns) it is their responsibility to contact the local building/engineering department to determine if it can be done.
I live in a city and could not have one; however, I have property in other locations that is not in the city.
Basically it can be thought of as installing a swimming pool - there are numerous municipalities that do not allow them and there are several housing associations that do not allow them.
Sorry to say but there are more and more people purchasing wind turbines for personal use. When you consider the government rebates and other related subsidies they are a substantial improvement over standard electrical service.
The technology itself has been proven throughout the years by the wind farms throughout the US and other countries.
Very interesting isn't it? I think it would be very interesting to learn of debt financing deals with select individuals!
I think there is a lot to learn here and would be interested to know what the upcoming quarterly will contain.
Unfortunately it looks like they allowed their website registration to lapse. Have we had any updates on this?
Unfortunately I believe the stimulus money has all been exhausted. MMTE may look into other financing alternatives that exist - maybe a new scientific experiment regarding pigs flying.
I agree the runway needs extended, we will very likely see lift off one day but I also believe there is a low ceiling.
I believe Lithium is certainly a viable market but is MMTE poised to honestly break into that market? Since the concessions are obtained through another company will copies of the land agreements be provided? Land transactions are just like in the US - 'deeds' are recorded and public knowledge.
Actually I wish I would have known the information I know now before I invested in MMTE and held 'long'.
MMTE will very likely at some point increase in PPS. I doubt this will be in the immediate future.
If the past and current relationships are of no concern this indicates to me that the patterns have been observed and it has never been about what has been claimed.
Oh and thank you for revealing and exposing the truth.
Another use of Lithium:
This is related to a construction project that I am working on.
Only time will tell who is correct - I would think the true answer lies somewhere in the middle since that is the way almost everything works out.
Unfortunately it is not just me that questions the same items listed.
I understand there will always be questions - that is obvious.
In regards to the lawsuit - the honest answer will not be determined until the judge rules on it. Each side (plaintiff and defendant) have their own story. I understand and realize the plaintiff will include numerous items to show their side; again, that is obvious.
Considering the lawsuit is something that actively affects this company it will continue to be discussed until it is settled.
There are several foolish and unreasonable expectations regarding this company.
I agree completely - there are several that are upside down on this right now (basically anyone that began their investment in MMTE from around February 2011 till now).
When MMTE is viewed with open eyes there are several aspects that do not make since and cause concerns that are not appropriately answered. There are significant issues that will remain pending until the lawsuit is settled. There are communication issues related to IR.
I am simply saying that Brian/MMTE is not using that medium for its intended purpose. Regardless of how that form of media was obtained it is not being used the way MMTE described it would be used.
I never even considered bringing 'hostile takeover' into that posting and had dropped that issue.
Your point disagrees with your earlier statement that I was bringing up a hostile takeover.
I will agree that 'tones of voice' cannot be read through text in most cases and in some cases the intent of the text can be open for opinion.
IMO the future of MMTE has nothing to do with postings on iHub, in some aspects it is likely predetermined.
I guess I read that post a little different than you - the purpose of that post was to show that Brian is not using that avenue for its intended purpose; I did not state it was a hostile takeover or even imply hostility in that manner.
I assume you are speaking of this post:
Dnix - and this particular issue was resolved by us through email. I am surprised to see this particular topic come up again considering the information that was provided.
I appreciate your opinion though.
I have posted a significant number of times over the recent days.
I still own shares in MMTE...as stated previously I do believe MMTE will increase in PPS but I don't feel it will be due to any Chilean involvement.
I respect your viewpoint and certainly wish you the best. I still hope that the business plan as stated by MMTE will move forward.
I think that is a good point. We have not heard much since the Expo in CA and am curious as to why.
