LOL - What in my post was nonsense?
Could JBI be Cash Flow Positive sometime this month?
Comments from Nick Terranova (Chief Financial Officer)12/10/13 AGM
Since mid-August, we have made some positive strides in decreasing our hard monthly operating costs and overall cash burn. Not only have we decreased the amount we are spending
on feedstock, but we have also been running efficiently in terms of our workforce at our Niagara Falls, New York plant.
We’ve also seen significant cash savings in the months since closing our recycling center.
We have also decreased any type of spending that is not relevant to our goal of making fuel. This includes a significant curtailment of any spending related to facility upgrades or improvements to the property and buildings here in Niagara Falls.
Although SG&A costs were approximately $2.73M during the third quarter of 2013, a portion of this expense, approximately $1M, was related to non-cash stock-based compensation charges for employees, and also the one-time immediate vesting of options of prior executives.
Additionally, costs related to severances paid in cash were approximately $180k. We are continuously working to keep spending at a minimum, and believe we are executing in that regard successfully.
Mr. Heddle's comments from the Dec 10, 2013 AGM
"Additionally, we continue to be in talks with potential buyers for machines four and five.
We have received many questions regarding the business model of such a deal, and while we work out the specifics on a case-by-case basis, a potential deal would involve an up-front licensing
fee with continual royalties on fuel production, as well as machine maintenance, software maintenance, and our proprietary catalyst."
Processors 4 & 5 about 75% complete. They're capable of 2000+ lb/hr. 24/7 for 30 or more consecutive days.
Apparently lots of interested buyers - which should make JBI instantly Cash Flow Positive.
Anyone willing to guess who the 1st buyer will be and the terms of the sale? - Republic, Waste Management, Agilyx, Klein, Kior, Rock Tenn, other? Don't remember the name of the company whose plant was a few stories high and out doors.
no it didn't they took it to the low of the day with the last trade.
lol

Lol.
Processor # 3 will be the company's flagship processor.
The read the AGM transcript? I can find no fault in what's been achieved with Processor coming online. This processor has the capability of making plastic pyrolysis viable - in a big way.
Why, should they have applied for a cold weather exemption? Not sure there is such a thing.
Anyone who actual believes that JBI is failing should read this very carefully:

The latest AGM provided very precise details of the progress made over the past 4 short years. JBI has evolved the technology to the point where they have a flag-ship modular processor that's capable of running in excess of 30 days with continuous clean-out, continuous through-put of over 2000 lb/hr and producing in-spec fuel.
Processors 4 and 5 are at least 75% complete and when sold will instantly provide in infusion of multimillion of dollars making the Cash Flow Positive.
wow - great update - nothing going on with that claim - again

It's called evolution. We now have a flagship processor. No company in the history of pyrolysis has achieved so much in such a short period of time.
Did you see this today in India? - "This Vadodara based industry claims to be the first India based company to have run a plastic pyrolysis plant for 24 hours".
Are you kidding me the 1st in the history in India to run a pyrolysis processor for 24 hours after 7 years. And, as a result of this major accomplishment "the company is planning to start working on 11 more plants all across the country. 5 plants will be installed within the next 4 months in major states like Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh".
And you believe that JBI is a major failure? Come on.
Well - I think the key is financing for 6 more months (max) to get this to market. If that comes you will see Priceline/Google like returns. Our Flagship is ready to market.
They received plenty of free plastic but found it cost more to process then buy pre-processed. We are all well aware of that
Rauber's "Optimal Plastic" that they paid big money for was highly contaminated with much of it going to land fill. They've returned to free or cheaper plastic after he and Bogo left in August.
If sales don't come first? Probably Mr. Heddle.
I'm jealous of those investing their life savings - they probably have more shares then me and as a result will be wealthier than me in the very near future.
Processors have evolved and that's resulted in a slight increase in costs. I expect when machines are mass produced the costs will come down significantly. That the way things work.
Plus, the technology side of the process is all new therefore it will not need to be started from scratch next time.
I wonder if anyone seriously expected the cost for a 1 kiln to be the same as a 3 kiln.
10M per year? Why 10M per year? Perhaps you can utilize Koolmoto's matrix.
The technology has evolved tremendously since we started back in 09. In four short years we have a flagship processor with 2 additional processors nearly completed and ready for sale.

Not everyone is aware of this but not all information is attached to a link - lol.
Bogolin's title was COO - he was in charge of Operations. John was out of state at the time of the 1st incident. I guess he didn't learn anything from that because he did it a second time.
What does that have to do with who hired them? Your speculation about this is wrong.
That is completely incorrect
and that one did some of the biggest damage. And get this, got paid for it.
actually it did
2 are *known*
1 not so much

I expect they will continue inspections forever. It's like changing the oil in your car.
It's only natural to inspect and maintain a technology that operates 24/7. All results will be recorded.
4 years ago when # 1 came on line it worked great. The machine was starving for feedstock. After a short period of time it became evident that continuous operation was not possible and a design change resulted in processor # 2. That processor too did not solve the shut-down problem thus the creation of # 3. They've achieved continuous clean-out are now able to operate continuously for 30+ days.
The flagship processor will put JBI on the map in the very near future.

It's a new machine. They're recording everything they see (or, so far, what they don't see - there is pet-coke or any evidence of wear and tear).
Real-time clean out and continuous operations were missing from Processors 1 & 2. Processor # 3 has resolved those problems. When an average of 2000 lb/hr is achieved we have proof of concept. Demand for sales will be overwhelming (and processors 4 & 5 are about ready to go).

I think the decision to sell processors is awesome. If they can realize $6-8M profit per processor they will be Cash Flow Positive very quickly (much better than selling 1 gallon at a time).
I agree that 2014 will be JBI's year. It's an all or nothing year. There is now a great deal of optimism. They have created a flag-ship processor that is able to run 30 + days. They have resolved the clean-out issue which should allow an average of 2000+ lb/hr.
Costs are being cut, revenues will be going up, sales are imminent, BoD appears ready to be seated.
The costs to finish Processors 4 & 5 will be relatively small as 75% has already been completed.
In my opinion a great year can be expected.
At this point they have stated that there will be no further expenditures on the facility/equipment. I do expect they will continue to use # 2 as is but will eventually start from scratch using processor # 2's existing kilns and stacks to manufacture a processor the same as #3. The processors are modular so build-out may be quite easy.

Longs are loyal. They're in for the long haul, win or lose. The AGM was extremely positive and JBI's future looks bright.
