I agree Phrantic. Uplisting by years' end is not out of the realm of possibilities. By the time interests in stocks picks up again and we exit the "summer dulldrums" we will be positioned to provide TEN TIMES the excitment of Sept. - November of LAST year. I think it's HIGHLY possible that we could be in multiple dollars by Christmas. There doesn't seem to be any bridges to build at this point. At this point all the I's have been dotted and T's have been crossed. Now, all that remains is execution. I think there could be some truly exciting developments in the next several days.
Happy Memorial Day everyone, and thanks to all those who fight for our country and keep us safe - past, present, and future.
Cost per AsepticSure unit is estimated (and hoped) to be in the $55K-$70K range with profit per unit in the $25K-35K range.
News on Travis: I just talked to TEB. Travis came home 2 days ago. Pneumonia almost gone. A couple small infections under control. Probably another couple of surgeries left to do, maybe a year away from normality. Ironically, the doctor wanted him OUT of the hospital - where it's SAFER. Makes one even more confident in OUR AsepticSure. TEB told me to tell you all thank you for your prayers and best wishes.
Anybody seen my red, white, and blue thong? I thought I left it here, but I can't seem to find it. Prolly need it this weekend. If any of you happen to be on Ky. Lake this weekend, send me a message and come hang out on my boat for the day. Supposed to be beautiful weather here. Peace out everyone.
I don't think that the "peer Reviewed" article, publication or whatever has anything to do with the "time table" or with retail production/sales beginning. Probably, they will hit at CLOSE to the same time, but not as a RESULT of any article being published. What IS important and what MUST happen first is the hospital trials, so we can tweak the proceedure in an "actual hosptial environment - with all the hallways, all the skirted off rooms, dividered off rooms, etc., etc. But, in the end, what REAL difference does it make if we begin retail in August or EVEN in Ocotober? This is only the BEGINNING of our future - not the culmination OF it.
Actually TEB told me that Travis wants to enlist in the Airforce. I hope that soon he'll be recovered enough to pursue his dreams.
Lady GOfor, Those of us who are patient and wise and accumulate, while others with little faith find other ways to amuse themselves, will be greatly rewarded. We all must remember that for ALL PRACTICAL purposes, this was a NEW UPSTART company only 25 months ago. What has been accomplished in 25 months NORMALLY takes 4-6 years. Ed has operated lean and mean, and while it may have cost us a few months in the time-line, it ALSO likely saved us a BUTT load of money. The most important thing is that we have a CEO who is HONEST to a fault, always has his stockholders best interests at heart, and his intigrity is above reproach. MZEI is his passion as well as his life's work. How many CEO's do any of us know who can match even HALF of those qualities?
Hang in there Ben. We're closer now than ever in our history. I think another 90-110 days will reveal a much GREENER$$ picture.
Good news from TEB. Sorry I'm late with this post, but Memorial Day week keeps me very busy. TEB called me mid-morning and said that the preceedure seemed to work and that Travis was stabilized and doing better. TEB was relieved this morning, and I called him later this afternoon for an update but he had several other calls to make, so I'll try to post soemthing more in the morning.
I just spoke with TEB a few minutes ago. Travis is stable, although he has some pneumonia and a little infection - but they seem to be controling it decently. Tomorrow by this time is the big step - whether they will be able to take him completely off life-support or not. If not, they will likely air-lift him to a specialty hospital. Travis is young and strong, and he is really fighting, according to TEB and the doctors, so there is great hope that he will pull through. TEB is exhausted and emotionally spent also, as we all can imagine, and he was quite emotional with me while praising all of you as well as Ed Marshall for remembering Travis, him, and his family. He told me to say thanks to ALL of you for your WONDERFUL support and prayers.
Well, Harley Davidson built a "sales dynasty" by limiting production so as to keep prices and resale values high...AND demand - whether it be by lack of ability to keep up with the demand from a manufacturing viewpoint or by INGENIOUS marketing wisdom, no one really know.
I just spoke to TEB. Travis is still in ICU, not doing well. There is some infection now setting in, which they're trying to control. They tried to take him off life support today, but were unable to because of swolleness in his breathing areas. Monday they will make the decision whether to air lift him to a university hospital that specializes in these kind of treatments. They are still keeping him in a semi-coma state while they try to control everything.
I thought I'd also mention that our CEO has called TEB everyday checking on Travis, which is not something MOST CEO's give a hoot about.
TEB said he's very touched by everyone's support and told me to tell all of you thank you for your prayers and kind words.
Have a good weekend all. I'll give an update on Travis tomorrow too.
Good morning all. I just watched the MoneyTV update myself. The power point presentation at the Vail conference should open "newbee" eyes to the problems associated with HAI'S and the LACK of ANY REAL present solution. Also, likely, at the Vail conference Ed should be announcing that hospital trials have commenced, which should make LATER JUNE MoneyTV updates VERY news worthy.
While the Hospital trials are simply the "repeat" of protocals and proceedures that we've done hundreds of times in our own mock up room, the hospital trials will COMPLETELY tweak and ratify the EXACT protocals required to effectively and repeatedly achieve the desired kill rates and decontamination that will all but wipe out these dreaded pathogens.
Once we complete the FIRST (probably rather lengthy) hospital trial, the OTHER trial locations should be a breeze - as we'll already know the "protocals and proceedures" that accomplished the desired results at the first trial.
I should have an update for everyone on Travis this afternoon as well.
Sorry-), here, I just pasted it:
Stocks to Tumble Another 20%, Cash the Safest Place: Roubini

Stocks are likely to continue their aggressive decline and shed another 20 percent in value as the world economy weakens, economist Nouriel Roubini told CNBC.

Nouriel Roubini
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the market slides into correction territory, Roubini said weakness in euro zone countries and a slowdown in the US and other developed countries will make things even more difficult for investors in the months ahead.
"There are some parts of the global economy that are now at the risk of a double-dip recession," said Roubini, head of Roubini Global Economics. "From here on I see things getting worse."
Prices in both stocks and commodities are likely to take a hit, and investors may only be safe in cash and other safe havens. Roubini said investors also can use options to hedge against future market risk that he said is sure to come as conditions weaken in the US, Japan, China and through much of Europe.
That will lave little room for growth both in economic measures and in most investment classes, Roubini said.
"There is that risk because the problems on the macro level are first in the euro zone. Then in China there is evidence of economic slowdown...Japan is in trouble and US economic growth is going to slow down," he said. "There is also regulatory risk because we don't know how financial reform is going to occur."
Investors then should focus on buying debt from countries that are solid economically.
"Apart from cash I would invest in short-term government bonds of countries that don't have a serious debt problem, countries like Germany and maybe Canada, a few other advanced economies that from a fiscal point of view are sounder than the weaker economies," he said.
"What needs to be done is clear. We need to raise taxes and cut spending. Otherwise we're going to get a fiscal train wreck," he said. "It's going to take years of sacrifices."
It's 5 o'clock SOMEwhere.
Well, well, well. Looks like there's no place like MZEI and /OR cash. Check this out: http://www.cnbc.com/id/37259541.
Also, Rambus looks good for a run....but it's $23.00 + per share with a possible MAX upside in the next several months of MAYBE $40.00. So....let's see....MZEI @ .22 x the SAME profit margin = ONLY .385...with a PROBABLE max upside in the next several months of $3.00 - $10.00? Now WHICH looks like the SMARTER investment? Makes GOLD look like Turds.
Hi all. I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with Threw -R - Back. His son just came out of a 7 hour surgery that was supposed to only take 3 hours. His son is stable, but not good. Even though we're here for a purpose, in many ways, we are like a family. I'm sure TEB would appreciate some encouragment from ALL of us - even those of us who post rarely. For you prayer warriors out there - and I know there are a few of you, TEB's first name is Ed and his son's name is Travis. Let's lift them up and shower them with out sincerity.
I don't even remember BEING 30 years old.
Newbie, we have ALL FELT your scorn - regardless of our position in life. Lee Ioccoa, the newly appointed chairman of the then almost defunct Chrysler Corporation, said it best 30 years ago when he said: "you can lead, follow, or get out of the way." Even ten years before we landed on the moon, 95% of the people in the world thought it was a crazy notion....Even TODAY AFTER we landed there MULTIPLE times, there are conspiracy theorists who claim we NEVER landed on the moon, that it was all a fake. Human beings are a fickle lot. Truth be told, your friends who belittle you for your beliefs don't WANT YOU to be different (understand "more successful") than THEY are. Their glass is always half empty rather than half full. Almost EVERY GREAT person in our history in EVERY aspect of life from authors to philosophers, to light bulb inventors, to Orvel Wright were similarly scorned and belittled by their so called "friends." If you have invested in this stock, then YOU ARE A visionary. But a vision without PURPOSE is folly. EVERY BILLION DOLLAR publically traded compnay began as a penny stock, some even less dramatically. The bottom line is that your friends are doing you NO favors. All they want to do is PREVENT YOU from being more succesful than they are. It's OK to LISTEN to advice of others, but in the end, you must make your own decisions - based on wisdom, knowledge, reasoning, common sense, and just as importantly, passion. If you made ANY decision based on ALL of these factors, then you've made the RIGHT decision. Don't let "OTHERS" steal your dreams.
Well, I brought the subject of MZEI up with him, but he already KNEW about it. I've known him for many years through regular commerce, and he called me a few days ago pertaining to other things, and having not spoken with him for a few years, over the course of almost an hour or so of catching up, we got to the subject of family, future retirement, etc. Once MZEI was "brought to the table" I was pleasantly surprised by all he had to say and what his thoughts were. He actually HEARD about MZEI FROM THE AMI conference interview. Evidentally, the AMI thing is a good medium for us. He's been steadily accumulating shares ever since...and he said that some of his collegues are talking about it as well. I mentioned to him that I was aware that several interested shareholders had sent information about MZEI and AsepticSure to the major news agencies during the last several months, but had not gotten much more that a computer generated reply as a "thank you for submitting the story." He said that news agencies, etc., are bombarded by such things and often times they get "lost in the mail." I'd never blow his cover, but he is truly excited about what MZEI is doing and he obviously spent a LONG time doing his DD, as he knew about the early years testing with the blood initiative too...and he sees the AsepticSure machine and the future "rekindling" of the blood science as being a one-two punch. He was happy to have begun investing NOW and not over the last 10 years - as most of us longs have. I pushed him for a story on us, and while he wouldn't/couldn't promise anything, he KNOWS that there are "IMPORTANT EYES" on us maybe for the first time ever, and he's confident that there is a HUGE IMMEDIATE market for AsepticSure. I asked him if he was interested in being a PPL buyer, but he feels that the common shares are trading WELL BELOW their real value - considering how far along we are in the commercialization process - KNOWING that there is NO regulatory intervention to slow us down. He's anxiously following our progress (and happily accumulating cheap shares
). He BELIEVES that AsepticSure could easily be THE STORY of 2010 - once everything is brought to light.
I know a major national news anchor person who has been steadily accumulating MZEI stock for the last 3 weeks.
Damn good post!
I have water in MY backyard toooo, but not by choice.
It gets back to my post of last Sunday relative to PERCEIVED strength of ANY company: CASH IS KING BABY! You can manipulate EVERYTHING except CASH ON HAND. As the last interviewed company at the AMI conference stated: Earnings per Share really have LITTLE TO KNOW bearing on a company's strength. MANY MANY companies on the BIG BOARDS are ABSOLUTLEY STRAPPED with debt of one kind or another. MANY PENNY stock companies are LEAN AND MEAN, having PERSONAL FORTUNES poured into the company (Ed and Jill Marshall) rather than operating on SOMEONE ELSE'S money. In somewhat SIMILAR way, PPL owners are part of THAT FAMILY as well - helping to preserve and protect the FUTURE of the company - RATHER than being/feeling unattached or having NO control....or worse yet NOT really caring or having nothing to PERSONALLY lose. MOST PPL owners have SOMETHING to bring to the table - beit technical experience, navigation, ro even being a simple deck hand - it takes ALL facets to be successful and keep the ship heading in the right direction and not floating tits up on some beach somewhere. It's ONE thing to have debt built up from loans - it's and ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THING to have debt built up from YEARS AND YEARS of planning, labor, and strategic devlopment without pay. At least with the LATTER, PAYDAY WILL arrive and make whole.
Maybe I should submit my thong for AseptciSure testing....if our machine will 6+ log sterilize a GUY'S thong, it'll kill ANYTHING.
we tend to sit around the fireplace during the colder months, getting fat and sassy waiting and dreaming for warmer water so we can get wet again.
One of my MZEI shareholder buddies just put me on some kind of "herbal diet," which she guarantees will put me in my favorite thong by July 1.
Really, it sounds great. It would be a great reward for all of us longs. Maybe TEB will come too and buy us all dinner one night. Count me in.
Sounds like our next AGM should be at YOUR place.
Maybe it's the island lifestyle that adds to your bubblishisness?
Thank God they caught that A__hole before he left the country....thank GOD that MZEI has a PROVEN solution TO COUNTER the BIO-terrorism threat. I would think that within the next 90 days, our government (and likely two or three other governments as well) will have FIELD READY AsepticSure units ON ALERT to counter this threat.
great question.
I know when MY compass points straight up, it's ALWAYS a good day.
Is it just me? Or did the entire MoneyTV seem completely uninpsiring EXCEPT for Ed and MZEI? I tried to be objective, but it sure seemed to ME that MZEI was BY FAR the shining star of the show - in EVERY WAY. Even a person without ANY knowledge or awareness of the HAI problem and without ANY thought as to the "cure" or treatment of the problem would have to be BRAIN DEAD NOT to see what MZEI is about to unveil to the world.
One other thing that was VERY interesting to me was the last interview with the gentleman from "Newsgrade," in which he said the EARNINGS per share frankly mean NOTHING - mainly because it was MUCH TOO easy to manipulate that data, siting that a company can "sell" a product on paper, but in the end, either collect weeks or months later or never collect (can anyone say ENRON?). He went on to say that CASH IS KING - siting that DEPOSITS taken for PRODUCTS YET TO BE PRODUCED are MUCH more telling - as they represent CASH FLOW and is a MUCH MORE REVEALING SIGN of a company's strength. Most of us in an inventory business have always known this, but it's always amazed me how "people in the know" seem to be led blindly over a cliff like lemmings. You can't EAT accounts receivable. As MZEI gears up for production, we should CLEARLY be a company that "Newsgrade" likes, as orders and deposits for our equipment NO DOUBT will GREATLY exceed our capacity to manufacture them in the early term. Can anyone say: "windfall?"
I think we should take up a collection here and buy Ed some new glasses that the vintage 1930's specs he wore during the interview....he looked a little like Albert Einstien.
Is it soup yet?
We HAVE a business plan. It has CAREFULLY and THOROUGHLY been laid out many months ago and it hasn't changed. BUT, things must happen in the PROPER order. You don't go into battle without fully loaded weapons as WELL as a strategic plan - well, unless you're French,
