Well you would sell yourself short by about $2+ per share - at least.
That's only the first shoe to drop. There will be others.
Seriously - they are ordering thousands of bulbs and cartridges for giggles? - you need to follow the crumbs a little better
Hate to say this Capt but Vyst has an installed base in hospitals- so wrong again
There have been a lot of disappointments along the way but this is now - let's see if the old tapes re-surface or if this is the beginning of a new chapter.
I think the latter - but everyone to each their own.
Yawn
I think we get a stream of news this week - updates on Rx3000, Rx400, possible gloves, bulbs etc. etc. Possible other products.
The tweets over the weekend about continuous upgrading of bulb supply is very telling of demand for the component as well as the overall product.
It won't matter what the next PR says - it won't be good enough for some and will be music to the ears of others - that is what is done here - just saying.
And when they are - it is never good enough - look I understand some people feel like they weren't honest - I get it. My whole take on this was it was a legacy transaction for the family and I think it developed and became more complicated and difficult that they expected. I think they are correcting things and I am willing to allow them the opportunity to make it right.
I have had my share of missed expectations. This could end uo being another - but I will let it play out.
I have been here over a year - live near Rotmans and know their reputation - they are icons in the community - you can second guess or feel they have not lived up to expectations, but I am confident in their experience and that they will deliver.
This was a very big deal for them to put their legacy and family reputation on the line to do this merger. I don't think they do it unless they felt they could make this work. They knew the history - they knew the risks and yet they did it because they think they can pull it off.
I can't help it if people want the quick buck or instant gratification - if that is it then yes you were disappointed - I can't help that.
I am in for the long haul so the daily blips and whinings of the short term opportunists - I could care less.
Could one of the Mods stickie today's news - much appreciated.
Read the PR carefully - it’s in there
They are building this one product at a time.
The absolute beauty of all this is that the Rx400 and the gloves require NO ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE - sales turn to cash immediately.
And the changes in the way Rotmans is operating reduces their overall costs and makes them more profitable.
So the short term ups and downs (games) are only relevant for short term traders.
Longs are in it for the end game.
I can wait.
Once the quality audit is complete and the mfger is given the green light to ship his containers of 10,000 units, you will have/ see your revenue ramp
This is being built product by product and the Rx400 is just the tip of the iceberg
Eastman Kodak - see what happens when you have something someone/ anyone needs related to this dastardly virus.
I have this very strange feeling the hammer is about to drop for Vyst.
JMHO
I got mine - you didn’t get one?
Nice post - TY.
Not sure I would make that stmt
There are a number of scenarios that could make that happen.
It may not be realistic short term but that could change - one large order from a Gov’t entity - you can pick any govt or entity but if a Govt wanted to “support” the effort then cash issues go away and resources become very available to make it happen.
Think about PPE; testing; vaccines etc.
Governments will move mountains to clear the path for something they want and need.
Just saying - will it happen - low % but doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist
Only today - wife out of the house - lol
For all the naysayers; told you soers; never gonna happeners etc. etc. - it would appear to me - just as an observation- that the news lately thru PR’s has been solid and backed up with a few tweets.
Everyone can talk about the past - but if you live in the past - the Current and future pass you by.
The narrative will take time to change but I am comfortable waiting because the possibilities are ENORMOUS .
COVID-19 has presented a once in a lifetime opportunity and I believe VYST is poised to take full advantage of the unprecedented demand for air quality and safety not only in the industrial environments, but homes, offices, sports stadiums, arenas etc. etc. etc.
Going to be a LONG weekend damn - it’s going to go by so slow - lol
Maybe Looking in a different place than you - seems like following a logical pattern to me
Yeah ok - I got it
Ok - please share your in the know information- all of us would really appreciate your inside knowledge - I know I would
Again - you don’t know that - history has nothing to do with the present - you are making an assumption - you don’t have any facts - just reiterating the same narrative about the past.
I am not saying he has orders or is shipping products- all I am saying is because of the past doesn’t mean the present is the same.
I get people are pissed off at him and the company but today isn’t the past 7 years - if he fails on this during the best opportunity Vyst has had then all of the criticism is warranted- I just don’t think continuing the harangue helps anyone with the current environment
"Vystar seems to have trouble working with their existing products.
I wouldn't look to them for something new"
You don't know that. Pure conjecture on your part, but consistent with your ongoing narrative.
It could be the COVID-19 pandemic may / could change their strategy and no spin off but keep it in house and set up marketing or franchise type arrangements - possible royalty type scenarios - lots of ways to reap benefits from this explosive marketing opportunity
Seriously? - the fins will be be awful - just like every other retailer that doesn't start with an A.
Everyone knows it so why do you continue with this harangue.
They are going to be bad - so what - you think any other furniture store is going gang busters.
Lol - now you have the Pom Poms out - aren’t you embarrassed
Good for you and good for us - lol
Let's hope this is step one on the list.
Should be more in the queue.
For someone who says they own shares - disparaging the ticker is not normally the way to get your money back.
Did you contemplate the idea that maybe some folks who were making the bid goosed the volume? Just a thought - may not necessarily be Greg - although it's not ruled out.
It's always the negative - you are feeding the narrative - not recommended.
I have lost a lot on this one - but I am not on the board everyday feeding the hounds.
You need to go back and re-read what was said months ago about the idea of the "spin-off".
I think the intent was clear.
Wow - aren’t you the one that has been railing against Stevie Boy for like 2 years??
You must have bought a bundle at 0001 and looking to make a little bank here maybe
People never cease to amaze
This was a follow up email one hour after the other email.
From Sabrina @Rotmans
If all goes as planned we will be opening to the public this week. I will forward this email to our store sales manager. If she has an opening for an appointment she will offer that to you. Otherwise you will be able to the store this week. (Hopefully!!!!)
Follow Up from yesterday on appt at Rotmans Furniture
We have a very limited number of appointments at Rotmans available for tomorrow, Saturday 6/6. What type of furniture were you interested in looking at?
If you would like to schedule an appointment for tomorrow, please call me. We have no appointments available for this Sunday. We could schedule you for later next week, Wednesday or beyond.
Looks like they are pretty busy with appointments- limited as they maybe.
I posted that and the communication came directly from the company - I will make an appointment and let you know.
I queried Rotmans yesterday about rumors of their closing. This is what I received back - they are currently open by appointment only and hopefully soon will be fully operational.
Thanks for reaching out to us. No we are not closing down. We like many other business’s have been closed due to COVID-19. We are currently scheduling in store appointments to shop. We are hoping with Governor Baker’s phase 2 we will be fully open to the public for 06/10/2020.
Let me qualify what I am going to say with this caveat - I am assuming VYST can demonstrate effectiveness and that they will not see any federal action like say - ARY*. That said here is my take.
This is truly an historical opportunity for this company. Given that this virus is going to be with us for the foreseeable future AND that we are entering a period of a new normal AND that the Rx product is that effective in trapping viruses, then this product could be in every corp office, every Pro sports team locker room and arena, every college campus in terms of dorms, athletic venues etc., hospitals, LTC facilities. The market is limitless and it would also be worldwide.
It is viable anywhere there is a need for keeping an environment clean of pathogens and will be in place when the next virus comes down the pike.
Predicting a price is meaningless because the sky could fall or be the limit.
Issue is can the company capitalize on this historic opportunity.
I am in for the long haul.
No time like the present for that update. They promised it, so lets see how long it takes this time.
