FEED ~ Wants to break the 50 day. I see this going to $1 easy. 60M shares outstanding. I think the chart looks great!
Anyone here have a price target for feed? It sure looks like it wants to move.
FEED ~ Trying to make a move. above 65 cents and I think we are off to the races.
FEED ~ Great chart in the making. If it breaks 65 cents then its off to the races.
CCTC ~ This is moving little by little each day.
After watching the trading activity today, I think this is going to move very soon.
CCTC ~ Steady as she goes.
Thanks for the FEED chart. I picked some up today.
FEED ~ Setting up to be a monster IMO.
CYTR ~ Trying to break to the upside. Accumulation has been happening.
FEED ~ Trying to gain traction.
FEED ~ I'm liking it!
CCTC ~ Great looking chart!
Are they alive? They aren't participating with this oil rally.
CCTC ~ Getting stronger. Keep an eye out on this one.
CYTR ~ Anyone holding this. Lots of volume in th month but no price movement.
TGC~ Cut and paste from Yahoo board. I thought it was a great write up.
First, I would recommend to everyone complaining about the seeming incongruous relationship between the price of oil, TGC’s drilling success and the share price, the book “A Random Walk Down Wall Street” by Burton Malkiel. It was assigned to me by my finance professor in business school and the lesson (after 250 pages) is simple: every investing strategy that claims to be superior (charting, fundamentalist, etc.) eventually underperforms the market as a whole. Certainly individual companies have larger deviations from the mean, meaning that a.) immediate stock price is impossible to predict and b.) individual investments are highly volatile.
TGC is the same. Was TGC worth 300% more in 2008 than it is today? Or was it worth half as much last year? What makes me most bullish about the stock is specifically that management is not acting like they need to get 300% returns every year (although I understand why people would view this as a high risk play --- and expect a commensurate risk premium for their investment).
They locked down their financing. They drilled development wells. They increased production. They have developed a replicable process for maximizing recovery. They have acquired more land. They are drilling exploratory wells. They have (almost) guaranteed reserve and production increases in the future due to development wells on new finds, MMC coming online and the flip point in the ten well program. They are experimenting with new technology and drilling techniques. They are reclaiming old wells. They are prospecting outside of their core area. They have the only pipeline through a potential shale play. They have ramped up their investor relations.
Most importantly, they are not doing what bad executives do when the stock price doesn’t immediately move as fast as they think it should: going out and doing something for the sake of doing it. Like some other companies I could mention (GMXR --- leasing extra high cost rigs to drill shale, then deciding that they should buy land in the Bakken; BQI having $80M in cash and figuring out how to bankrupt itself by doing science experiments instead of sitting on their cash until conditions improve; or any of the other companies from the 2009 presentation that showed 20-25% of TGCs peer companies who got crushed in the financial crisis).
TGC is a company growing its reserves in multiple regions using multiple techniques in a world of declining production and opportunities. Their revenue and operating cash flow will be at record levels. They have stated that they have more locations today than they had before drilling the 27 wells this year. I doubt that they will triple production this year. But they could double it in the next two years. This may not put them in the 99th percentile of oil companie's production growth, but they will certainly be in the 90th+(with almost none of the risk that those gunning for the 99th percentile will need to take).
TGC ~ AF are we going to get some love with this gem or what? I added more today.
CCTC ~ Keep it on your radar.
cctc On the move little by little.
CCTC ~ Worth checking out. Getting traction little by little. Chart is looking great!
Eco, Are you still in this?
AF ~ Is TGC ever going to get any love. Not sure why this isn't moving considering the most recent Q.
Thoughts?
I think something is in the works but we have to wait. I am just betting on 10 cents for now if any BIG news comes out. On another note, EEE lost their buyer. I think this is to CCTC's advantage.
BTW, I picked up some shares today.
what kind of run are we looking to get? Can we see 10 cents this year. It seems finacing would shoot the stock up.
Thoughts?
Is this stock going anywhere? Sure looks management is trying to turn things around.
CYTR ~ Starting to get a little love. Could move FAST as well.
MAtt ~ Do you have a price target on SQNS?
Grm ~ Did YOU conduct your DD on SPAX? It sounds like you are bitter. If you are, don't blame AF.
TGC ~ I'm not sure what to make of TGC. I want some but it may go lower. Charts were setting up for a move but it failed.
AF ~ Are you still taking a chance with CFW as a lotto play?
CFW ~ TRADING RESUMED????
Has anyone called the company?
CFW ~ HALTED? This could interesting. GL!!
That is interesting. What do you think the sale of the company is worth if it was sold out right? I guess this is the $64 question.
Thanks Alfa! Do you think they will sell the assets in chapter 7 or just sell them out right. They are getting down to the wire here.
I am looking at oil plays but I may be too late.
AF ~ Are you still holding CFW for the lotto play?
CFW ~ Volume is way down today. Not sure this company is going to stay listed either. Your thoughts? Did anyone figure out their true value?
TGC ~I saw that. It looks like they don't put out too much news except the standard mandatory filing.
