an important note is that processing plants have also been authorized by comibol. We should get word on the assay of the other three veins sometime this week and production can start soon thereafter. This event gives the company credibility as a major player in Bolivia. Looking for a nice gap open that will not be filled since we are in new uncharted waters now.
stock looks real cheap here at 2.82 level. earnings surprise is possible as the pipeline for fortical orders need to be replenished. looking for a move here to the 3.50 area before the end of the month.
Financial advisor- What is your basis for your impression that Jaime was being disingenuous.Do you think he was trying to mislead people. It seems to me that on most occasions the company has been right on the mark.
I was disappointed that the company did not announce the results of the assay on the other three veins as suggested by Jaime in the interview. Hopefully the delay is not serious and we will be happily surprised on the upside. The recent gas pipeline approved between Bolivia and Colombia, a non socialist/communist country, augers well for Bolivia regaining the confidence of the corporate foreign community.
Huge volume today indicates that something positive has probably ocurred or is about to happen. My guess is that the company has completed its alliance and or has received important financing. LOOKING FOR A GAP OPEN TOMORROW ON NEWS. i HOPE.
looking for a little news to move above the 3 cent resistance area. think the slump is over as the stock has had a decent shakeout of the weak hands. Not all the fireworks were launched on independence day. glta.
Actually the press conference went badly in my opinion because the interviewer did not do any homework about the company making his early comments assinine. Comments like you bought a dirty shell and what is your burn rate, a question suited for a biotech, indicated a bad attitude and false preconceptions about the company. Eventually Jaime was able to make a few points but his tempo was thrown off by the bad vibes thrown off by the interviewer....That being said, I think there was some inportant info from Jaime regarding the company's prospects and financial picture. While the outstanding shares is 1.5 billion, the float was confirmed to be approx 700 million. At 3 cents the market cap is $21 million, not an outrageous number. If the revenue stream is on target and the company shows a profit by year end, A 15 cent price or 100 million market cap would not be unreasonable. The company's expenses are now 15,000 a month and the co has 350000 cash on hand, so that if there was no revenue for 10 months we could still operate. Too bad the interviwer didn't ask how the company was financing the gtl plant. I believe that it will not be internally financed and the company has a deep pocket angel such as Shaw group who can make it happen. Finally we can expect new next week on the assay for the 3 veins and a rough draft of a Contract has been submitted for our attorneys to review. All in all pretty positive if not eye opening. And to paraphrase Jaime, said, we are still honing and implementing a business plan. This can be a real big deal and I'm <.ALL IN>.NUf said- i am off this board until tuesday. Sorry if this was too verbose.
Eye opening and enriching experience.Hmmmm.Perhaps that explains the huge bid ask spreads on June 20. At one time it was .o2-.03 a 50% gift for the nimble market maker.I wonder if we will get some new news as opposed to a recapitulation of past corporate events such as the MOI and LOI signed for GTL and Comibol mining deals. A signing of a definitive agreement could cause a nice gap up and instill confidence in the doubting Thomases to use a biblical reference so prevalent on this message board.I'm sure Ayn Rand would hate this company but alas she is long dead. Wonder if FA decided to get back in. He has really been quiet when most expected some gloating. Caiao for now.
Thanks for your response and update from Andy Austin. It is remarkable how candid management and spokesman have been with regard to giving shareholders information regarding corporate developments. Having information is the most important when determining a comfort level based on risk/reward potential. I agree that the announcement of the financing partner for the gtl plant is an important piece of the puzzle. Not sure it is Shaw as I understand the man who originally put the LOI in place is no longer with them. This is a refreshing and informative message board that has been invaluable in helping with investment decisions. Keep up the good work. The efforts of you, MSEED, the moderators, Silver Bars, Ysilver and other thinking posters have been invaluable in helping with investment decisions on this company.GLTA
after close at approx 4:01 150000 shares traded at .028. This is second day late prints that are not reflected in the last price went off above the close. LOooks like someone expects some big premarket opening news or possibly a late print of a during the day trade. Hard to buck this market but maybe something is a brewing.
It is not possible to catch lows and highs on a consistent basis. The stock looks to have bottomed and a little good news will hopefully get us maoving in an upward direction this week. Bolivian recognition that the USA and its capital are important components to growth can spur a nice spike up.
Has anyone talked to Andy Austin recently. While the stock first consolidated and then went into oversold mode as the general stock market recently collapsed, the price became too cheap for me to resist the temptation to return to my original position. While the 6/16 action may not qualify as a reversal day for the hard assed technicians, the low of .021 and the after market trade at .028 and .029 makes next week look promising. The analysis of the veins by the Dolbehre group should provide continued credibility to the stock with the investment community. The companies that fmnj has hired to support its ventures appear to be on the upper range of respectabilty in their fields of expertise. Good management is the hallmark of all successful corporations and fmnj looks to be on the right track. The numerous weak hands posters who have thrown in the towel augers well for those who are not faint of heart and believe that this company will make a significant mark on the mining and oil and gas exploration community in Bolivia. In the end it is the fundamentals that makes money for people who own stocks.
Franklin expects to initiate siver production later this summer is the key point of this mostly fluff news item. MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT STOCKS TEND TO MOVE A FEW MONTHS BEFORE AN EVENT TAKES PLACE. The reason for the move before news is usually that someone knows something ahead of time generating some nice charts bringing in more buyers. I think we are at a great buying opportunity right now.
Silver bars- If you wait for the letter of intent to be formalized into a definitive agreement you will probably give a up a substantial gain by buying on the news spike, a dangerous strategy if you look at recent market action.Like the martman and the Hamma I have done very well playing the dips and selling some on spikes while maintaining a substantial position. Stocks are a little tickiery than commodities to trade since commodities tend to stay on trend for a long period of time while stocks tend to fluctuate as a famous trader once said.If the deals are real, you will do very well no matter what price you paid. As they use to say at otb : You gotta be in it to win it.There is nothing in the chart to indicate that the long term chart has turned bearish. Tempted to add more here myself but don't want to be too greedy since I feel it is bad Karma. just one man's opinion.
Fa- no offense intended. Only want you to be able to make money on this stock. You have devoted so much time and effort to this board which is now widely read on the IH.While you have been of great service, I hope that this is more than just an intellectual exercise to you. I think we are in at the pause that refreshes stage. Those that do not yet have a position will be soon be left at the post. Looking at the market cap of siver stocks cited by Silver Bars, we can easily break the .15 and even the .50 barrier if this company is for real. Real good risk/reward ratio right here if you ask me.
Agree that volume needs to increase to get stock out of trading range. The Bollinger bands are reflecting the 3.10-3.50 range. the big news is movement on the pth program. When that happens, institutions will be more comfortable owning this company and the price should rise significantly to new highs. Good luck.
FA- There is nothing special or magical about otcbb listing. Many institutions are prohibited from purchasing a security unless it is at least nasdaq small cap. Someone has theorized that the company is delaying bb listing since it does not want to have to get a shareholder vote each time it wants to increase the outstanding shares and spend money for Sarbonne Oxley compliance. This sounds logical to me. I think once the business plan unfolds and the company achieves a positiive cash flow, we will likely see a listing on Nasdaq preceeded by the dreaded reverse split.I'm not sure how I will play such an event since usually stocks retrace after a reverse split. If you think you are being objective here you are fooling yourself. You have had a few chances to reenter but your stubborness about getting back to the 2 cent level may cause you miss the boat.I beloieve that once the company announces where they are getting the money for the $320-$360 million dollar investment for the GTL facility, the money will pore into this stock on the buy side. This price will, I believe, look really cheap in the near future. Good luck on your objectivity.
The story here gets better each week. Last week we leaned of the company's plan to build a GTL plant. The study as to the size and feasability should be completed before year end. The second silver vein assay should be completed soon and a approval for a second proceesing plant there would not be a surprise. Management and the PR guy Andy Austin have to be given thanks for keeping investors clearly informed as to corporate news and its business plan. Loking forward to an interesting week. As long as FA remains on the bear side, I feel confident since he is apparently a contrary indicator. I am surprised that he is not proud of the accomplishments of a company that has risen like the Phoenix.

company should hopefully be posting news of the amount to ore in the second vein. my take is that the price is ready to break out on the upside as new investors get wise as to the great growth fmnj is about to experience.
Agree.
The important figure is market cap of shares in the float not oustanding shares. At that level of valuation, this company's stock price is cheap.
FA- Those who can do. Those who can't teach. Respectfully suggest that you reenter at this 5 cent level outstanding shares or not. I believe we are involved in the stock market to make money. You found a big winner. Now start to capitalize on it. I am indebted to you for founding and contributing to this board.
Just maybe this as a real company on the verge of being a major player in a country with huge untapped natural resources. While scepticism is warranted in reviewing investment in an unknown commodity, this stock may become a life altering winner for those who are patient. I have been taking a little off the table on the spurts while waiting to see how this plays out. Current market cap looks very reasonable at this time.
the most important info in the news release was the appointment of an experienced mining man to run the operation. also interesting to note that the releases now stress that we have two wholly owned Bolivian subsidiaries for the mining and the gas venture.i am going to keep being patient as the business formulations continue to unfold. nobody knows how this will play out yet including JM in my opinion. Isn't JM a great set of initials for a CEO?
stock now at 3.25 level as the market and yours truly have been humbled by a disappointung earnings report as the compny is still working off inventory pumped into the fortical pipeline at startup. The company needs news that the pth program is is phase 2 for the investment community to return to the strong buy side. Until this is released i believe the stock is now a hold.Trsding range now at 3.10-3.50.
While there are many imponderables regarding this stock, the potential is too great to be ignored. The recent news that the Shaw group is still in the bidding for the natural gas plant may lead to big profits if fmnj is still acting as their agent. The mining royalty potential of the 4 veins in cerro rico wilkl probably be announced when the analysis is complete. It will be interesting to see what the co.s share will be. PARALYSIS BY OVERANALYSIS CAN COST THE POTENTIAL INVESTOR BIG MONEY IF HE OR SHE HESITATES AT THIS VERY EARLY STAGE OF THE COMPNY'S DEVELOPMENT. Of couse all of this is in my very not so humble opinion.I think the stock is a strong buy at this 4 cent level.
If the formal contract signing of the Cerro Rico mine is announced this week, I would wxpect that the company will advise as to the amount of silver its geologists estimate in the 4 veins Franklin will mine. Based on the current price of silver, the number should make us all very happy.Goog luck to all as we await news regarding the success of the negotiation.
The beauty of holding this stock is that the company has permitted its shareholders to be informend of its business plan as it unfolds. I have spoken to JM in the past before he hired AA as the company IR guy and I found hm to be a forthright and intelligent man who actually cared about shareholders. If you can weed out the nitwits on this board, you can gather some real informative stuff about the company, silver and the politics in Bolivia. If this company really has the announced deals in place, it is highly undervalued at the current market capitalization. See silverbars valuations of other mining companies in prior posts. Good luck.
good post.
It is still too early to estimate the fair current price of this security without having some numbers as to the revenue the company may derive from the two almost done deals. The gas plant will cost $300 million to build and I think the company should get a finders fee for obtaining an investor. They probably also will get a piece of the production revenues from the diesel sales to Bolivia and export.A geological estimate of the amount of silver in the 4 veins at Potosi should also be interesting.Under these uncertainties, it will be easy to be seriously whipsawed. I am waiting for more info before making a decision on an exit strategy. The one obvious conclusion is that Jaimie has been able to locate some deep pocket investors to work with him in exploring opportunities in a counrty rich in mineral and oil wealth but poor in economic fairness to its citizenry.Rich/Reward ratio for this security seems to be huge to me.
Reviewing most of the pr you will notice how Jaime comments that the company's plans will be beneficial to the people of bolivia.
FA- Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. you will feel better if you get back in as encouraged by some fellow posters including yours truly. The stock is very cheap at this level of a nickel.Your stubbornness and reliance in voodoo charting has taken you away from your heart. I think your evil twin has been posting in your absence.
It seems to me that what the naysayers may be missing is that fmnj may be a player in building a new infrastructure for the tremendous miuneral reserves of the country. The mayaya project for gold production had to be curtailed because of the scarcity of diesel fuel to run the equipment. The new gas /diesel fuel plant will give the company the access to address tis problem for the whole country and leave 50% for export. The is called SYNERGY. My counsel is to see wait for news of the new business plan will be, before making a exit strategy decision. The future of this company has yet to be told.
mr.pga- all i can say is FOUR. FORE going golfing in Myrtle Beach this weekend.Playing oyster bay and world of golf and staying at the legends.i know your remark about FA was tongue in cheek, but the guy has a lot of respect here for the great job he has done in putting together a most informative board. Keep your head down and follow thru and you will end up hitting em straight.welcome to the board.
based upon the recent activity and strength in the stock, i feel we are about to have a major breakout from this low $4 level. looking for new highs to put price firmly above $5 and anticipate relisting soon on nasdaq or amex so big institutions are qualified to buy shares.
second the motion and thanks to FA for a yeoman job in putting together this board.
did i tune into the sopranos by mistake.lol
fa- i agree with spark. u r too focused on the % move off the subpenny lows. the sell on the news scenario is almost too obvious. maybe the longs would be better off if they were in Tahiti this week and unable to access the internet. jump back in for a few shares so you can have a vested interest in this baby you have diligently followed.your conservatism has made you a little pig headed and intransigent.risk reward ratio is not apparent until we get more information about a management deal.if they have ANYTHING the stock still looks cheap to me. Hope your next post will be..... I'm BACK.
very funny board today. one guy invested half a million and the other has 6ooo shares for a seventy dollar investment.in between a few lame rank out contests.any thoughtful commentary about the company and its prospects would be appreciated since we will probably have a volatile week one way or the other.Tried to learn something about Comibol on the web. Best i could find were old articles talking about the collapse of mining in the late 1980sin Bolivia.
