Success, that is fair and good. There is obviously a fine line, here, though. Subtle questions from 'bashers', may "stir things up a bit", but so does avoiding 'Cons', and putting people down who are obviously trying to be sincere. THAT looks funny, IMO, and can be taken as Pumping which, can definitely "stir things up" as well.
Now, I'm sure to the relief of many, I am done.
Good luck everyone!
Capitain, you are right. There are probably a lot of people reading this board that have not purchased shares yet. They are strattling the fence, so to speak. To come here and see sincere questions being asked, only to see them be rediculed, gives the impression that this is nothing but a PUMPER board, which imo, is just as bad as bashing.
Some on this board appear to be very uptight and edgy. One little wrong question or statement sends them into a tizzy. That, to me, doesn't seem right, and imo can raise a few eye brows.
The "originals" have to realize, that NEOM is becoming more "recognized". Isn't that what you want? I have read many past posts and I have noticed that many people looked to Retiredand Playing (God Bless Him) for answers. Well, now that those people have all the answers, they don't want to deal with others who are still learning.
And just because someone has a question, does not mean they have not done their DD. There is SO much information, ( much of it hard to find), that it is impossible to know everything.
Like I said, when people here become uptight, when a "Con" is mentioned, you are only sending up RED FLAGS. Is that what you want to do? That scares investors away as much, if not more than bashers!
Nutsoc,
You are right, and I apologize. You say we are priviledged to have our questions answered on this board, and I agree, but I don't think anyone deserves to be rediculed the way some have been.
When it comes to my comment about Vangorilla, If that's what you're asking, I was just blowing off steam. He, along with the rest of us, is aware of the obstacles they face. But he obviously, according to his articles, feels this is a killer app. So, please, disregard my comment, Like I said, I was just blowing off steam, and that was wrong.
Redsoxfan,and Woogerbear,
Regardless of the fact that I have been extremely pleasant to all on this board, IMO, I'm tired of walking on eggshells, and watching others have to do the same. I have done my own DD, and contiue to do so. However, if a question is not worded properly, or God forbid, there are too many, then one risks being rediculed and scolded like a child.
You asked about my last comment. Well, I don't mean this to be rude, nor am I trying to blow you off, but why don't you take JP and Donbalons advice, and do your own DD?
Best Wishes and Good Luck to All
Donbalon,and JP,
I for one, have done nothing BUT read. Calling C.J. is easier said than done. He is never available. I simply mentioned that Alexnadre had some good points.
Looking back on past posts, I see there have always been questions. Part of disscussing is asking questions. This is getting rediculous. People have to really walk on eggshells on this board!
And if I were you, I would'nt bring up Vangorilla to me! Because, I happen to know how he REALLY feels about NEOM.
Alexandres question, brings up some good points. Does anyone have comments? (Post 5767).
Thanks
That' a good question/idea. I think any chance to get exposure should be taken. Esp. A big Name like Jay Leno!
Kokonutguy,
I agree with you, I'm just saying that some on the outside don't understand that, and are skeptical to invest. But once they research and find out the facts, their opinions should hopefully change. Mine did!
Picksit,
Good point, I agree.
Picksit,
That is true, and we as investors know that, but I have found that people who are not completely familiar with NEOM, look at the Paint Repair co. as a Red Flag.
But hopefully potential investors will just do good DD, and then they will see the benefits of NEOMS paint co., as well as everything else.
I'll admit, I agree.
I inquired about NEOM at Motley Fool a while back, before I bought in, and they were skeptical, due in large part, because of the Paint repair co. that they also run. Some thought it made NEOM look shady.
We know NEOM is NOT shady, but they may want to consider a separate website.
Think Equity Partners, Not Thinking Equities, is the co. who stated that Intels earnings "blew their estimates out of the water". Sorry!
CNBC also states that the record earnings for Intel in 4Q are due to computer and Mobile phone chip sales. Not sure if I posted 3.6% increase correctly, but pps is up .33., and they had a record $9.6 billion in sales in 4Q '04, due to cell phone and computer chip sales.
CNBC interviewed a rep from Thinking Equities. He stated that Intels 4Q earnings "Blew their estimates out of the water."
CNBC reports this a.m. that Intels earnings are up 3.6%. Much better than last year (had probs last year), and "expected to go even higher", according to Intels CEO.
According to CNBC, App co.s that provide Intel with needed materials are up as well.
Hmmmm, could this have anything to do with the new Killer App. in the making?
Time will Tell
JP, what threw me a curve ball was that you said 10 years FROM inception, not SINCE inception! I know that sounds silly, and no I wouldn't think you would want to invest in a company that would take that long, however, the way it was worded like, I said, threw me a curve ball.
Trust me, I REALLY hesitated to ask that! but took the dive anyway!
Never mind! Thanks movieguy. That's what I thought, but wasn't quite sure!
Denaliak, thanks, glad to know I'm not the only one wondering about that! No, JP didn't answer yet. I'll ask again!
Success,
Thank you. You've got mail.
Success and JP,
Please check your private meassages.
Thanks!
I agree,
I'm finding that no matter how much DD is done, it seems that something else comes up that confuses me! It is obvious that some here are much more technically inclined than myself! So when I see questions, like that, I'm thankful that someone ELSE asked it!!
I'm a big "question asker" here! (Some are quite silly, and I apologize!). Hopefully one of these days, I'll be able to contribute something more meaningful! But in the mean-time, I appreciate all other comments and questions, because then I realize I'm not the only one confused at times!
JP,
Very dumb question for you, (sorry!). But when you said that NEOM is 10 years from inception, did you mean 10 years AGO, since they started all of this, or 10 years from NOW, that we will be using the platform? (Or, 10 years til we see the stock go up?)
Thanks!
Good Question Spanky,
I have to admit, I'm confused too. Virgin, and NEOM BOTH partners with Light?
Anyone have any insight as to why we are sitting idle around this pps? Just seems to keep hovering around this point, even with a couple PRs. No big deal, really, just wondering.
I thought I read on RB that NEOM isn't on the SHO list. (Would someone that is much more educated than I on this subject explain to me about the SHO list, and how it affects NEOM)?
Thanks!
That is a great post JP,
I've been thinking, for a long time now, that all this tech. for phones is great, but the phone manufacturers need to design phones with wider screens, and now we have it!
I have to admit, that is a good question.
Although it is a service, and not a product to be shown at C.E.S., the sevrvice to be provided by NEOM has to be appealing to consumers in order for product managers and mobile co.s to want it. Paperclick has been out for a while. Are mobile co.s just now starting to warm up to it? Or, how do they feel, like spanky asked, when it's introduced to them? Guess I should do some more DD on NEOMs market researching, but just thought someone here might know.
Does any one have any comments?
You're Probably right,
Hopefully the suit will be over soon.
Yes, today was pretty dull!
I do have a question, though. What does any body here think it's going to take to break into the .30's? It seems as though the pps just keeps hovering around this point. Good thing I guess. Rather have it this way than fall. But I thought we might hit .30 with this most recent PR about Nokia, but it didn't make it.
Any Thoughts?
I agree,
It seems though, that this is a puzzle coming together. If Virgin, and Sprint are now together, and Vodafone has given the okay for Verizon, to put a bid in for Sprint (which is with Virgin), then it seems that it is obvious where we stand with this suit, without actually knowing about it publicly.
A few weeks back, it was reported that Sprint was asked if they plan to move their headquarters, if there is a merger with Verizon. Apparently, according to the report, Sprint said "not at this time, but we may consider eventually moving to the U.K." Well- the U.K. is the location of Vodafones headquarters.
I guess my main point of all this is, that doesn't it seem like it's all coming together, without actually knowing about it for sure?
After all, if there may eventually be a deal with NEOM and Vodafone, and Vodafone/Verizon has merged with Sprint/Virgin, then it is obvious, that the suit will probably be settled, because, these companies may eventually be ONE Big company, that uses NEOMs platform!!
That's all I'm saying. Does anyone else see the connection here, or am I just completly off base?
CNBC reported today on Virgin/Sprint group IPO of Virgin shares. Anyone have an opinion on my previous 2 posts? I'm really curious about this. Wondering if this will affect the Virgin/ NEOM lawsuit. It looks as though these companies, are gradually coming together.
Would greatly appreciate some input. After all, this suit is a major thing that seems to be keeping pps down.
Thanks!
No, why would Verizon (in partnership with Vodaphone),want Virgin (in partnership with Sprint), to continue with this suit, if they may want to buy Sprint??
Or, does that matter? Well, I would think it would matter, because if all these companies come together, what's the point of a lawsuit?
From CNBC "Wake UP CALL" today-
Sprint and Virgin group selling a stake in Virgin for IPO. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't there been rumors of VERIZON buying SPRINT? (VODAPHONE OWNS A LARGE PORTION OF VERIZON. "If" that is the case (I could be wrong), why would Sprint, (which has merged with Virgin), want Virgin to continue with this Lawsuit? Wouldn't Verizon/Vodaphone want them to "settle" to get it over with? Especially if Verizon is planning to buy/merge with Sprint? Think about it, if Vodaphone owns a large portion of Verizon, (and there are a lot of rumors of Vodaphone giving the okay to Verizon to buy Sprint), (who has merged with Virgin), (CONFUSING,I KNOW!), Then this lawsuit between Virgin/NEOM will for sure be settled! If it's not settled, and if there is a deal between NEOM, and VODAPHONE, then they are basically in a lawsuit within their own company!!
HELLO!! How rediculous is that!!
I could be way wrong, but if I'm not, then I think the puzzle pieces are starting to come together!!
Like I said, I could be wrong about all this, but I'm feeling pretty pumped right now, so if any one else has any thoughts I'd appretiate it! Don't want to get my hopes up for nothing!
Best to All!
GO NEOM!!
Moxa1, you are probably right.
But I will say that the guy I talked to was very intrigued with NEOMS Tech. So now the ball is in their court. I simply notified them after hearing the ancor woman on "Morning Call", say that handheld pcs are great, but she wants one on her cell phone. So, flooding CNBC could give a wrong, impression, but like I said, at least they know about it now, so, they can do what they want with it.
No, unfortunately I haven't,
Having some problems with my PC, plus have to run out for a while. Yes, I agree, though. lets flood CNBC with info. The guy I talked to, "Brad Quick", is very interested, and is going to try to do a story!
Thanks JP!
Glad to hear that! Just couldn't help myself. Had to call them! (CNBC). Especially when the Ancor, herself is saying that she wants a phone with her handheld pc! Seemed to be the perfect time to let them know about NEOM! Not only will we have handheld pcs with phones, we'll have access to the internet via voice activation, and search capabilities by just speaking a word! No more typing! Thanks to NEOM!
Like I said earlier, I think everyone will want an "ALL INCLUSIVE Gaget. The "Morning Call" Ancor, today, on CNBC prooved that theory!
Good idea Movieguy,
Having some hopefully minor problems with my pc at the moment. Keeps locking up. Will try, though.

Thanks for your vote!
Just to let everyone know, Brad Quick e-mailed me back (right away I might add!) and he said thanks for the info, and he is going to "See what he can do". (He is aware that it is an OTC company). So I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
Yes, that is the clincher,
with NEOM being a penny stock, CNBC may not want to comment. But by just putting the bug in their ear to keep an eye on them, could make a difference, and yes, they could just mention the tech in general. Or I wonder if they could mention Nokias committment to the GO WINDOW tech of NEOM?
Oh, one more thing,
I haven't posted at RB, but if anyone feels like spreading the "CNBC WORD" over there, that would help too!
(I know for a fact that the market really moves based on what CNBC has to say!)
GO NEOM!!
