I agree with rationalfaith on that one. NEOM just needs more exposure. This week will definitely help that. The selling of shares doesn't phase me. Probably just paying bills. But it's really none of our business.
Even though they could use some good exposure, I'm sure they are focusing on other matters at this time, and they Know that exposure will come in due time. For starters, this coming up week!
Thank You both. I thought that was the case, but was hopeful that it might have something to do with the suit.
Thanks again!
Okay, I'll try one more time. Post # 60305 on RB. Does this have anything to do with NEOMs suit? Or is it completely irrelevant? Thanks again in advance.
Post #60305 on RB is interesting. States that 'Virgin has pulled the plug' on it's electronics arm. Does anyone know if and how this relates to the NEOM suit? Is this a hint of things to come? Or is it completely unrelated? Thanks in advance.
The day I talked with C.F. about Shelron, I asked him about SAIC, and if they are still in partnership with them, and if the Word Registry is progressing. His tone became very upbeat, and he said "Yes, we are working with them as we speak.", I asked him when he anticipates the launch, and Unfortunately, I didn't catch exactly what he said, since the connection was bad, but I believe he said 'by the second quarter'. But I do know it is sometime this year! ( I interpreted it at the time as before summer). After that he had to go, so I was out of time for more questions! But judging from what I got from the conversation, the launch is VERY close!
Wow, A lot of great posts over the weekend. I know I've had my share of concerns. These, concerns, however, were mainly due to the amount of exposure that NEOM was, or was not getting. I have to say, that, when it comes to their financial situation, I have not even given it much thought. What do people expect, at this stage of the game? Of course they are going to be 'in the red' for a while. I don't think we will see a change for the better, until well into next year, after PaperClick, and the Word Registry have been out for a while. But of course, could be sooner considering how well NMPR is doing, Possible Virgin settlement, etc.
Anyway, I'm not sure, but I believe it was Warren Buffet that says, one of the best things an investor can do, is buy stock in a good company that has hit some hard times. Because good companies with good management know what it takes to pull through. It looks like not only is NEOM going to pull through, but they are going to come back stronger than ever! So, for an investor, it doesn't get much better than this.
Hmmm, I wonder if Warren knows about NEOM?! (Something tells me he does).
Best Wishes Everyone!
Well, this will definitely give NEOM the exposure, that I was concerned that they weren't getting!
Like everyone says, GO NEOM!!
You Go lemonhead!! Yes, I think everyone must still be sleeping!!
OH Boy, Here we go Guys! eom.
Wow, what a day! JP, it looks like your hard work is paying off!
Thanks for all you do!

Hi Picksit. Symbian is a partner of NEOM, but like Personalizit said, it's Nextcode. BTW, didn't someone recently post that a friend of theirs works for Nextel, and that they were talking about NEOM?
Thanks.
beeh, I did read it, and yes, that is interesting. I'm no 'techie', and I'm sure someone here may know something about it. However, in the mean time, I e-mailed NEOM and asked for their insight. Hopefully it's not infringment. Maybe it's another company that will be using NEOMS IP? It's interesting that they have signed on with Nokia. Wonder what's up. Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks
JP, Great work as usual. I talked with 'Mark Christians' this a.m. at Wall Street Report.com. He seems very interested, and wants to talk with NEOM as well. I Gave him NEOMS contact info, and also e-mailed NEOM with his contact info. So we'll see what happens.
Thank You JP. That was nice. I believe, however, that Success contacted management too, regarding SHRN. Also, I must say, that although I have been making many efforts to get the 'word' out, I don't have the contacts that you have, so your efforts Dwarf mine.
Thanks again for all of your hard work!
Best Wishes
Great Post JP. You've done a great job. Keep up the good work! After all, like you said, as shareholders, we 'own' part of the company, and hold certain responsibilities as well. As busy as I'm sure management is, I'm sure there are things they have not gotten to, or simply have not thought of, and probably welcome the added 'marketing' with open arms.
beeh, I do agree with you though, that it's good to let management in on it.
Best Wishes
beeh, checking with management is probably a good idea. However, I'm glad to see these efforts. I have been concerned about NEOMS lack of exposure. (which has been obvious according to my previous posts). I know I have offended some here on the board with my 'tone', but I must say it seems obvious that others want NEOM to gain more exposure as well.
Great work everyone. (I had a feeling we would open a little higher this a.m.)!
Best Wishes
I sent Matt Krantz a very long detailed e-mail this a.m. (this is my second one, I e-mailed him last December, asking if his feeling have changed).
In this e-mail today, I out-lined all of the reasons that he should reconsider. I also told him that I feel he could be doing his readers a big dis-service by not letting them in on this wonderful opportunity.
I talked in depth about the Word Registry, and it's advantages over Search as we know it today through Google. I also reminded him how Popoular barcode scanning has become, and how Japanese kids actually were barcode tee-shirts! I mentioned how obvious it is that barcodes are becoming popular here as well, since so many companies here in the U.S. are trying to use them, only to be put in their place by the courts, since NEOM holds the patents.
So, hopefully he'll finally get a clue.
Wow, unbelievable post. Thanks PClick! eom.
Yes! Great Job JP!! This is exactly what I have been trying to do, but I don't have the info on all these companies that you do JP. I've been doing searches, through the weeks, and have found quite a few, and e-mailed them, but what you are doing is great! I have also contacted, like I said in a previous post, CNBC'S Jim Cramer- a new show is starting up soon, and they want ideas for it. "MAD MONEY" is the name of the show. Apparently this is a show about "beating the market". CNBC did return my call, (I left a brief description of NEOM on their voicemail), I returned theirs today, but the phone-tag thing is going on. I'll keep trying.
If any one else wants to try, Jim Cramers # is: 1-800-743-CNBC (2622).
Again, sorry that I have sounded whiny, but what JP has done today, is exactly what I have been concerned that Management should be doing. But hey, they're pretty busy these days I'm sure! So, let's all help JP, and NEOM!
Best To All
Hey Spanky, That's sounds great! I appreciate your post! Again, I'm sorry if I miss lead you. And, I can understand you wanting a chance to respond!
Thanks again! What a day! Huh??
Best Wishes!
Thanks JP, and I agree with you 100% about the state of things here today. You have done agreat job today! (As well as everyone else). I have to say, I'm glad to see this taking place, because like I said, I have been doing this very thing on my own. I guess, Like i said, I was afraid to point out my efforts being made at home, because then it would've really shown the concern I was feeling about managements ability to carry this out. I guess it back-fired though, since I went ahead and asked nervous-type questions anyway.
Don't get me wrong, please, I am very proud of NEOM management. This 'little' company has made it through some terrible times, and they are still plugging away! I have nothing but faith in them, or I wouldn't still be here. I just know that they have some BIG monsters breathing down theirs necks, and drooling all over there AWESOME TECHNOLOGY!
So, hopefully you all can forgive me!
KOKO,
I didn't post that to tell everyone 'what I've been doing'. JP suggested that we do that, so I wanted him to know, how much that I HAVE been doing already. Hey, he's the one that brought it up! I haven't posted my efforts, because like you just said, this board is not here for people to talk and boast of how they are pulling their weight. Jp asked, so I responded. I guess, if it will help, I will start to post what I have done. I would have to look up some of the e-mails I've sent out to companies.
But Yes I agree, NEOM needs cheerleaders, but I also think, according to the efforts being made today, that there are quite a few on this board that feel that Management is facing a lot of challenges, and there are Monsters out there that would love to eat them for lunch.
I have simply voiced a few concerns about that situation, and unfortunatley have made a lot of people mad along the way.
But, just so you all know, I am putting 'my money where my mouth is', and trying very hard to help them out, with my little ole' pc, and my good ole' fashioned cell phone, and have been plugging away at this since I bought in!
An example of my efforts- Last December, when i found out about Shelron, and ActiveShopper, I called Chaz Fritz. ( I know that Success did too) He called me back from his cell phone, on his way to the airport. I told him about it. His exact words to me were" HMMM, I'm not familliar with them," "This sounds like infringement." "If you get any more info on them, please let me know." Well, low and behold, several weeks later, Shelron actually signed up with NEOM!!
I have to admitt, I was surprised at the swiftness of the deal, and maybe someone else at NEOM was already on it, but at least you see my point!
I guess I have a bad habit of saving my questions for all of you guys, but on the flip-side, I have been working diligently to help NEOM out! I guess I was afraid to admit that, because it would show more of my 'concerned' side about Managements ability to get this HUGE thing off the ground!!
JP, You have no idea how much I've done! I have e-mailed and contacted several companies!! I still have to return a phone call to Jim Cramer- He's starting a show on CNBC called MAD MONEY. It's a show about 'beating the market'! Someone from their office called me yesterday afternoon, and i will soon be calling them back.
Although everyone here is 'Mad at Me', I see that some of my concerns have been taken to heart. Management can obviously use a little help getting this thing going, and by the looks of everyones efforts today, I see that many have the same feelings as I do.
Like i said, i have been doing a ton of 'Marketing' for NEOM! They obviously need it!
So, you see, I am not just a paranoid poster, an am an investor that wants Management to be able to get this HUGE thing off the ground!!
So why doesn't everyone cut me some slack, and let's just do what needs to be done!! And for Godsake, if someone has a concern, help them out!!!
Looks like I'm not the only one feeling a bit concerned. Are we due for a shareholders meeting? Would be nice if we could get some updates.
SS9173, Yes, I feel it should be brought to their attention. I feel, sometimes, that there are a lot of things that management doesn't take advantage of.
If that is the case, then it could be another couple of months or so before we hear any news of any possible 'big' names coming aboard, i.e. Vodafone, etc.?
vines3, No I didn't. Did anyone here see that? That is very interesting! Hmmmm, doesn't Vodaphone own a huge portion of Verizon?
Thanks Vines3!
Yes beeh, thanks! And I hope you're right about a probable settlement.
Thanks Again
JP, Thanks for the info. eom.
Thanks Yellowjacket! eom.
I guess there have been no 'leaks' or 'hints' of what took place in the conference today? Does anyone know how long after a conference, public dockets are available to the public?
Thanks
Thanks, KGR! eom.
I'm 20 minutes behind, does anyone know where we stand? Bid/Ask?
Thanks
I e-mailed Semacode, and suggested that they might want to start "LIKING" patents, and gave them quite a few reasons why!
Well, I wonder what NEOMS "opinion" is of them not infringeing! They (Semacode) may not like patents, but like it or not, patent laws DO exist! They better stick with the LAW, or get slapped with a suit IMO. Maybe Semacode should talk to the guys over at Airclick, Scanbuy, and of course, Virgin, and get their "opinions" on patents, and what will happen if you choose not to use them, or follow them!
As a matter of fact, I'm going to e-mail Semacode, too and give them MY "opinion"!
Sure is quiet around here today, considering what a BIG day this could be!
Two Great posts donbalon. Thanks. I wonder if we will hear anything today, or just get info from the public dockets. (I have a feeling that NEOM has a PR that is already written up. It's just warming up in the Bull Pen) The question is, when will they unleash the Bull?!
Good Luck Everyone!
I understand your concern beeh, and yes, I would like to see some much bigger partners join NEOM. Hopefully that will happen. I guess, after three weeks of nothing, I'm just glad to hear SOMETHING!
Movieguy, I have to disagree with you on one small point. Yes it is true that management should mainly focus on getting this thing going, but I do feel they should put shareholders in very high regard, and place high value on their opinions. After all, the shareholders also 'own' the company, and if the pps does not eventually increase, then what is the point for shareholders to continue to invest?
