Deva - Yes, looks good! here's another...
"CHAR"
(Check out the price/earnings ratio)
futures premiums are steadily expanding...
http://money.cnn.com/markets/morning_call/
(now +3.15 on SPX)
AMZN - Leading the internet stocks uptrend!
(up another 3% today)
tekprod - Yeah! "Big rally coming!"
NDX 10 points above today's close!
AHAA!!! Futures "MELT-UP" after hours!!!
IMHO - Tomorrow we Rock and Roll!
and I question the validity of little old ladies buying oil stocks (unless they happen to be very astute investors)!
In fact, the only other people I know who own any oil stocks are cash and Deva (both are definitely very astute)!
peg - it's RALLY TIME!!!
peg - ROTFLMAO!!!
cash - XOM down .43 at low today...
most of the oils are a pretty wild ride intraday...
(let's see how it closes)
cash - It looks like the bottom in spite of record crude price.
airedale agrees that the 10w low is in
also, put/call ratio is 1.04
Devin - Holding XOM calls until expiration...
(same for INTC calls)
DJIA/SPX/NAZ futures trading higher...

RALLY TIME!!!
Crude oil futures hit new high in Asia trade Monday!
Crude for May delivery was trading at $57.59 a barrel, up 32 cents from Friday's close. The contract hit a new high of $57.79 earlier in the Monday session, topping Friday's intraday high of $57.70.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange Friday, May crude closed at a record $57.27 a barrel, up 3.4% on the session and up 4.4% for the week.
proformano - no more manipulative than the selling which preceded it.
Thanks! Best wishes to you, as well.
airedale - at least 1228 within 3 weeks?
(nice chart)
"Bull markets climb a wall of worry!"
Boa noite!
Oil stocks as a group have been "stellar performers" so far this year!
I seriously doubt that your "Intel short" has kept pace with my oil stocks!
(My XOM calls doubled on Friday)
Bulls are strong, positive thinkers. Bears are frightened sheep, who believe the world is coming to an end. (nothing personal, just a "generalization")
Then why are you such a "nervous nelly" about Intel?
FA - No, are you?
I know that! The buying will originate in the "QQQQ"s and (via arbitrage) spread to the component stocks of the NDX! (the QQQQ is the "tracking stock" of the Nasdaq-100 Index)
"He who sells what isn't hisn, must buy it back or go to prisn!"
tekprod - airedale already explained it! Don't you remember?
The fails to deliver were caused by "arbitrage" (program trades) buying the old "QQQ", and shorting the new "QQQQ". Apparently the numbers don't balance out evenly, because it shouldn't take so long to correct. If so, I think there could be some "forced buying" to cover the short position, which would cause an explosive rally in the NDX/QQQQ. In fact, it would spread to the DJIA and SPX as well, because they all have the same big stocks (MSFT, INTC, etc.)...
('just another reason to buy INTC)
M3 - Try changing 3 or b to 5 - (frank's scenario) much more likely IMHO
denmo - great chart! (cash was right again)
Deva - XOM up another .13 after hours!
usa - I agree, and IMHO it's RALLY-TIME!!!
put/call ratio jumped to 1.05 (bullish)
peg - also DVN breaking "ascending triangle"
INTC and GNSS going green (bullish)
peg - I am focusing on the oils, and they are still "impulsive!"
ditto for INTC!
XOM - "ascending triangle" intraday!
peg - I know, (that's why I said why not sell and go short)
or better yet, buy the oils!
peg - why not? "go with the flow"
one thing for sure... the oils are ROCKING!!!
the trading day is just beginning!
closing gaps clears air for "RALLY"!!!
Deva - sounds good! (I have INTC calls)
