Speaking of Google, look how fast their pps shot up after their IPO. I could be wrong, but I believe it went from $80.00/sh to $200/sh within six months!? It is still around $180/share!
If something similar happens here, well then, lets see, six months from now, hmmmm.......!
:)
Oh. I did not know that. Thanks! eom.
Mike- you won't find NEOM on the pink sheets! It's OTC! Won't be long, imo, and you probably won't find it on the OTC either! You'll have to go to NASDAQ!
:)
Oops. Missed that one, and probably a few others. Sorry! Our rising stock has me mezmerized at the moment! Welcome!
:)
Thanks. Got too excited! I believe it was for 700, not 700,000!
:)
I'll say! Is it just my imagination, or did someone just buy 700K @ .382??
:)
What a beautiful shade of green!! eom.
:)
Picksit, good post as well! Thanks! eom.
:)
Great post, movieguy. I agree 100%. It is truly mind boggling to think what NEOM is capable of, and where they, and we as shareholders, will be in a few years, or even just a few months, for that matter!
:)
Cabbie, the point I was making is that I feel that stocks can run rapidly based on on pure human emotion, (up or down), no matter what exchange they are on. Of course, BB stocks are by far much more volitile, in general, but I own many big Blue Chip stocks, and I have witnessed rapid fluctuations through the years, based on speculation, fear, exitement, etc.
So, I feel the 'emotional factor' will play big here, with NEOM. People, IMO, will start to get excited, once the word is out, and we could see a rapid rise in pps, based on that alone, even if the financials still aren't the best.
Again just my opinion, but I guess we'll see!
:)
Cabbie, I'm talking about Martha Stewart. I said 'practically'. She went up steadily and rapidly based on pure speculation, IMO, of what would come after she got out of prison. Of course, the pull-back took place eventually. but I watched as it grew from around 8.00/share to over 40.00/share in a few months. I know, because I owned the stock. I sold around 30.00. Made a nice profit.
seeclear--DITTO!! I'm sorry, I just read your post. You just said the same thing, basically! Yes, like I said in my post, human emotion can play a HUGE part in stock prices, and I feel NEOM is one of those 'emotional' stocks.
I think I made this point before, but many investors don't even have a clue about all of the technicals, they just simply buy into something that they like, or 'sounds good', etc. Hey, Even Peter Lynch uses that strategy! So, this is why stocks that have 'not so good' technicals, can still perform well. After all, Martha's company was losing money, while at the same time, her stock was on the rise!
Like I said, though, time will tell.
:)
Good post joedimaggio. However, I'm not sure I agree with you about pps not going up as much on Nasdaq, as OTC. I feel it all depends on the stock, and how people feel about it. A lot of people make their predictions based on technicals and financials alone, and they leave one very important element out --Human Emotion. Some stocks skyrocket based on that alone. Take Martha Stewart for expamle. Her stock started to tank when the word got out that she was possibly involved in insider trading. It kept going down when word had it that she would probably get convicted. Well, once convicted, many took this as a buying opp. (myself included). Her stock started to rise again, (fairly rapidly) based on pure speculation. People were intrigued with the fact that she was "looking forward to planting her spring garden", amoung other things, when she got out. Last July, I believe her pps got down to $8.00 or less. Well, with in a matter of months, it hit $40.00 or more based on pure human excitment. A lot of people made a killing. (myself included). Her stock has gone down to 20.00 since then. but I can see it rising again, based on new developements within her company. (Still, 20.00 is not bad, if you bought in last summer at 8.00)!
Anyway, my point is, even NASDAQ listed companies can move, fast. I feel that NEOM is one of those 'exciting stocks'. And once people know about this, we could potentially see this move VERY fast, based on emotion alone.(And don't forget that institutions 'usually' wait until 5.00 before they make a
move).
This is all JMO of course, but I've recently witnessed one Nasdaq stock practically skyrocket, and I feel that NEOM is capable of the same thing.
Time will tell, though!
:)
I say hold at least until $5.00! Can you imagine if you sell at a dollar, and several months (or weeks!) later, you read a PR stating that NEOM has been re-listed on NASDAQ! Talk about missing the boat! Once this baby is back on NASDAQ, there is no stopping it, IMO.
I don't see much risk as all, IMO. We know that advertisers are probably chomping at the bit for this thing to be launched, AS WELL AS many companies (Big and Small) because they know that their products are going to get lots of exposure, AND people will have easy access to info on all of these products. The only thing I see as being a negative, is if consumers don't take well to this. I don't see that happening though. This is too BIG and too 'Perfect' (for lack of a better term) for todays consumer. Like it has been said, people can barely live without their cell phones and PDAS. No one wants to have to wait until they get home, to search for something on-line anymore. Who has time? We are all on the go constantly!!
Nope. I don't see much risk at all. Consumers, IMO, will be all over this, and It looks like NEOMS patents are rock solid, which eliminates all kinds of competition. So, like TS said, there is not much of a downside here!
Just my opinion, of course, but the more time that goes by, and the more clues that come together, the more I realize how lucky I feel to have come across this company!
:)
That's how I see it, aztreedoc. When it was reported back that a comment was made about how the dilution will eventually be forgotten, I took that as a sign of confidence on Managements part. When the BIG boys and girls start knocking, there will eventually a SHORTAGE of shares, IMO!
:)
ss9173. I was wondering the same thing. Could JP mean Merril Lynch and Oppenheimer?
It's been a busy weekend around here! Looking forward to the new week!
:)
Hey, menamiketrx, who needs math?? 'Cause, Yep, 10,000 shares + 'Goes up real big' = A Butt Load!!
LOL!!
Have a good weekend everyone!
:)
Great news movieguy! Thanks! I thought you said you were going to be there, but I couldn't remember exactly.
Thanks again!
:)
Yep. A BIG thanks William! Even though we have to wait again, all of these details you are providing are very helpful, and give us lots of insight!
Thanks Again!
Yes, but it's not unusual for these things to drag on and on, though. Attorneys have a way of taking their good ole' sweet time.
Oh well, nothing left to do but wait 'again'!
OOOOOOHHH NOOO! Now we have to wait agaaaiiiinn!! LOL!
:)
Okay, everyone with their finger on the sell button, get some duct tape, and tie your hands together, and put them behind the back of your chair! LOL!
If not, you'll be sorry later!
:)
Looks like you are in good hands, needless to say!!
:)
KGR, yes, hope you're feeling well, BTW. Keep your meds and phone handy! This is quite a nerve wracking day!
Seriously, though. Take care of yourself!
:)
Okay, I'll admit, the suspense is killing me!
:)
'Nextel is not with NEOM---Yet'. Interesting comment success. IMO, if the Virgin case turns out as we expect, it's only a matter of time before Nextel 'IS' with NEOM!
So, Nextels comercial that is aired periodically, is great exposure for NEOM! FREE exposure no less!
Good luck today everyone!
:)
Thanks, Spanky. I guess, at this point, it's 'Technically' still a competitors comercial. But once the Virgin suit is settled, a strong message will be sent out across the board, that NEOM holds the tickets for the train thats about to leave the station!
:)
Thanks Success. I wasn't aware of that comercial until tonight. It seems like this is one giant web being spun, and everything is eventually going to come neatly together for NEOM!
:)
Cloud, and Spanky, I think I'm almost at my post limit, so if I don't respond again, that's why!
Cloud, Yes! It was the contruction company site, that they were scanning the barcodes. Spanky, is that the same one that was shown during Superbowl?
I did a few searches, and it looks like Nextel and Airclick work together? Well Airclick, according to management, I believe, is 'no longer considered a competetor'. Hmmmm.
Also, this is really good for exposure, IMO. It will intrigue people about barcode scanning, and its possibilities!
Not sure HOW or IF it fits with NEOM, yet, though?
Like I said, I'm almost at my post limit, so I'm going to do some reasearch on this.
:)
Hey, my husband just told me that he just saw a Nextel comercial that was showing people taking pictures of barcodes with camera phones! Has anyone seen this?
:):):)
I agree ifitlooks. This time I'm just going to assume we won't hear anything for a while. In Feb., I had my hopes up that we would hear something, but we didn't. Needless to say, I was a little 'grouchy' that week! :(
I will admit, though, that I'm hoping a few 'hints' from those that are going!!
:)
Thanks designer, and Kokonutguy! eom.
Thanks KGR. :) eom
Hmmm. Interesting Thanks guys. eom
Does anyone know how it's looking pre-market? Just curious.
TIA
:)
Nice green surprise-isn't that the truth! TS suggested to buy up to .30. Looks like we're on our way to a dollar. And we just might see that BEFORE July 4th!
:)
You didn't 'upset' me wando. Just made me cringe a little! I like your other theory, about a Buy-Back better! It's looking like we may not need either one, though!
Uh Oh. That 'reverse split' thing was brought up over on RB. Wando, say it aint so! Do ya really think we'll need that?
Anyone else?
Thanks
hamvestor, We don't know for sure if a settlement will be announced on Friday. The fact that Virgin may be settling is speculation based on possitive wordings from the court dockets. For example, NEOM asked for more time at the last court date, which was a 'settlement conference', so both sides could 'iron out minor discrepencies'. This sounded very possitive. Plus, it's hard to believe that such major companies, FCB, INTEL, etc., would be getting on board, unless they feel NEOMS patents are solid. Also, IMO, with all of the latest developements happening, it appears to me, that this thing has come to a close. We just don't 'officially' know it yet!
We may not hear the official word Friday. But like JP said, it could be very soon after the hearing! (I'll bet they already have a PR ready to go)!
:)
