Don't feel bad, pennyheaven, I think it's getting to a lot of us. The shareprice retracing, IMO, shows that many others are feeling anxious as well. This quiet period has gone on for what seems like forever. Plus, I think some of us thought we would've heard something about Virgin by now.
Hopefully, we'll be hearing something soon. I can't imagine this quiet period lasting much longer.
:)
Wow. where is everybody today? Sure is quiet around here! eom.
It's a shame that all of these articles keep mentioning Scanbuy. I'll be glad to finally hear about the Virgin case. Hopefully that will be soon.
Well, looks like all of those that 'panicked' are gone now. They'll be left sittin' in a cloud of dust, IMO, by those that got all of their shares!
:)
woogerbear, your posts always make me smile! eom.
That's true about being 'Long'. If you want to hear something funny, a good friend of mine bought in recently. This friend is VERY smart, but VERY laid back. She recently just happened to get in on the day we fell, I believe, to .15. Well, we were talking a while back, and I happened to mention that NEOM was .72 that day. She replied "Oh really?' I haven't even looked at it." "That's great". She then said, "Yeah, I'll check it every now and then, but I'd rather check back in about 6 months or so. By that point, they (NEOM) should have quite a lot of things on the move, and the price will be much higher, and more fun to look at."
So, that my friends, is what I call, a 'LONG'-Kinda like when wooger says--'Yawn-wake me up at 3.25!'
:)
Lots of people getting some good deals today! They are taking advantage of this buying-op Big-time!
:)
Banks. You're guess is as good as mine. These things can take forever. This, IMO, is simple 'panic' selling. Period. Also, for the record, this is common during quite periods. The adverage investor 'panicks' because they haven't heard anything, and they think something is 'wrong'. Now, add the fact that we have a 'criminal' lurking around, trying to manipulate things, and, well, you can see what can happen.
Hang in there everyone. I told my husband last week, that the investors buying in at the .60/.70 level, might worry if we get the inevidable pull-back, if there is no news right away. And yep, he just said to me, "Boy, you we're right"!
It will get much much better, soon, IMO!
:)
bigbiggirl, I had a feeling we might see this today. With no news, 'yet', and this 'basher', we'll definitely pull-back more. Don't worry, though, Imo, we won't go much lower. And if we do, it'll scream right up again, past the .50s,.60s, etc., once the 'Quite Period' is over, and management can 'finally' let us in on all the Big Developments!
:)
You and me both, woogerbear. Good Job. eom.
Actions like this are dangerous. I feel that not only should management be notified, but the SEC, and possibly the FBI, as well. The people responsible for this hoax need to be tracked down, and brought to justice.
Geez. What a way to start the week. Lets try to stay focused.eom
Microsoft! eom.
:)
OT- Ha Ha yellowjacket! My husband says I've always been his toughest challenge!
(I guess I'm lucky that he likes to be challenged!)
:)
OT. Very nice post success. But you are definitely one of the biggest contributors here!
As a Mom of little ones, I appreciate the 'Happy Mothers Day' wish. And I'd like to also wish the same, to all the Moms here on the board!
Thanks success!
:)
Well, we all know, that it's impossible to predict ANY stock, no matter what company it is. But, I personally feel that NEOM has so much potential, that I'm not touching ONE share. Then again, my kids aren't even close to college age yet! I feel that we can't go wrong, with all of these developments pending. No, there are no revenues ''''YET'''', but the potential amount of the 'future' revenues, is mind boggling.
I guess, just see what happens in the next few weeks. I personally feel, that a few of these 'Big' announcements we're waiting for, could put us well over a dollar, possibly. Sure, we might see a pull-back after that, but, IMO, the 'speculation' of what is to come in the future, will keep us moving upward from there. Possibly, 'close' to a NASDAQ
listing?!
:)
Hey, that rhymes! eom.
:)
dirtygoat. The key word is 'YET'. eom.
Thanks Jay. Very informative. Appreciate your input! eom.
Neombridge, I agree. however, I chose to mention it earlier because it is obvious that some investors have, IMO, mis-interpreted TS's comments, and like success said, spammers and bashers are taking advantage of the situation.
So, thought I'd do a little 'cheerleading' for our NEOM.
:)
I agree. Also, let's not forget that it is not just Tobin Smith that says good things about NEOM. There are many websites that talk of a promising future for them. One, in particular, Penny Stocks weekly.com. They hold NEOM in their list of TOP 5 stocks to be re-listed WITHIN 2 years.
So, I think some are loosing sight of the BIGGER picture here.
This NEOM/MOBL thing has really become an issue. Some on RB have recently admitted they bailed and got into MOBL. They are being comended by others for 'taking Tobins advice'. Wow, Tobins recent words were definitely interpreted differently by different people.
It takes guts, IMO, to do that, since we are about to hear, anytime, about a possible huge deal, and according to Tobin, many other deals, possibly as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't MOBL face extreme amounts of competition? I would think that EVERY major telecom company will be getting into broad band, etc. Tobin even states that investors need to be aware of the stiff, RICH competition that MOBL faces.
Also, people are comparing MOBLs financials to NEOMs. It was just recently that MOBLS financials were horrendous too. Don't they think that if MOBLs financials improve with deals, that NEOMs will too? After all, a deal with a FORTUNE '100' company will almost instantly bring cash into NEOM, and not to mention the on going revenues that will soon follow. And, that's only ONE big company. We can't forget that many others will most likely follow, if they want to be competitive.
This whole NEOM/MOBL thing that was recently brought up by Tobin, has really caused a lot of confusion.
Thanks chucker. The other gals have contributed quite a bit more than myself. But that was nice. It is refreshing however to see both genders here on the board. Makes it a little more interesting!
:)
Good one Stockgal! But... well...uh...ahem....I'm sure, every now and then, a female shows up, that can be quite...well... opinionated, and... well...uh....to say the least...quite a..
hmmm...(I'm trying to think of the word)...'spit-fire'?
Okay...well...uh....yes...I'll reluctantly confess...that...well...I'm...uh... talking about myself.
But something tells me that you all knew that.
:}
You, too Stockgal! BTW, I wonder if Tobin will ever mention, someday, publically, just how he was able to 'buy-up' all that property!
:)
Nope, no mention of NEOM by Tobin. I didn't think he would. Won't be long, though, IMO, that NEOM is discussed on national T.V. Once this starts to move, big-time, and we approach the $5.00 mark, we might start to hear NEOM being mentioned. But definitely, once it's back on NASDAQ, we'll be hearing about it, IMO!
It's funny, because, as Tobin talks of all these other 'listed' stocks, he's actually, possibly, getting rich off NEOM! I didn't catch him mention his home in Arizona, but we all know where he got the $ to put down on it!
It would be nice if these channels had a segment for microcaps. They could state how extremely risky they are, just to 'cover themselves', but I've read recently how popular micro and smallcap stocks are becoming for the adverage investor. So I feel it wouldn't hurt for these channels to have a small weekly segment about them on some of their money shows.
Just a thought.
:)
Thanks kokonutguy. Yep, although some have referred to me as a 'he', I'm definitely a 'she'! BTW, Hi, beacon! Yes it is nice to see more and more of us gals here on the board!
:)
No! Don't do that! Start taking an aspirin a day, until we get news, just in case! LOL!
I can see the pps 'hovering' around this point, give or take, for a while, if nothing is announced. Management might not be ready for a PR, plus, it might just all come down to the SEC, and how much longer it's going to take for them to approve the BSDS aquisition.
I know, I know. It's driving me crazy, too. (and many others, I'm sure!) But the news WILL come sooner or later!
:)
Yes, beacon, news will be nice. I'm starting to wonder if we might just not hear anything about Virgin until the actual court date on the 17th. Who knows, though.
I don't own MOBL. I thought about it a couple of months ago, but felt that my money was better with NEOM. I feel that NEOMS potential is much greater, and they have a lot less competition, IMO. I guess time will tell, though.
Hang in there bigbiggirl. I'll admit, I'm a little crabby, too. But you have to realize, that NEOM made a pretty big run on just 'speculation' from TS. But I think the TS excitement is wearing off a little, though, so now we just have to wait for 'The News'. I'll bet we get back over .60 or more today at the close!
Just received and e-mail from Fortune Magazine. They thanked me for the info about NEOM/Scanbuy, and said they were going to pass that info on to the appropriate editor.
My favorite color! eom
:)
His horse does seem to running a little wild at the moment, but the fact that he mentioned NEOM by name to the public, speaks volumes, IMO. Also, I'm not completely familiar with MOBL, seems like a good company, but I have noticed that they seem to have much steeper competition than NEOM does.
Just an observation.
I just sent an e-mail to Fortune magazine, explaining the fact that Scanbuy is being sued for patent infringement by NEOM.
Thanks yellowjacket. And, Success, by the way, THANK YOU for sharing that with us. I was very glad to see that Tobin had something to say today. I guess you can say I feel he owes it to the NEOM shareholders. After all, many are here because of him, and him alone.
Thanks again
:)
I don't subscribe to TS, but I'm sure it is 'different' this time. IMO, he may have felt that he needed to 'clear up' any confusion that may have occured from is recent comments about NEOM and MOBL.
Yep, Here come the big block orders again. Everyday it seems. At the last few minutes of trading.
:)
Congratulations JP! That's a big load off your shoulders! Now you could possibly have TWO things to celebrate this year. Completing Grad school, and NEOM possibly hitting a dollar or more!
Enjoy your freedom!
:)
JoeD, I agree. I wouldn't want to be Tobin Smith right now. I can only imagine the number of e-mails he has been receiving!
:)
I have to admit, it would be better (more professional, IMO) if TS touted each stock separately, without including comments about the other ones that he had already 'talked up'. It is very easy for things to be taken out of context, and, selling frenzies can start as a result.
Like I said, I just feel it would be better if he kept all of his stocks 'separate', and not mention them in the same statments. I especially feel it's not appropriate for him to suggest that people use their profits of one stock, to 'switch' to another. Could send a wrong message, about the future of the first stock, IMO. After people have taken their profits, I feel it is up to the individual investor to make their own decision as to what to do with those profits, rather than have it be 'suggested' to them. Like I said, could send a wrong message.
It's okay of course, to say "Buy MOBL". But not okay, IMO, to say "If you decide to take profits from NEOM, then buy MOBL". Again, could be taken wrongly.
Just my two cents.
