Hey Waverider -
Thanx for the PM on the BIGN board. Due to that, I checked you out and found that you moderate this board.
The thing I liked at first glance was the name, in particuler the word Frieldly in your board name.
Thanx again. Glad you liked the rant. I think I'll start watching this board. Better than that catfight over there, I'm sure.
LOL!!

Hey Man -
Been reading this blog for a while I do a spy scan on one of my other PCs. After a whole lot of garbage, I finally found what I was looking for, which is the reference to the new blog.
What is it web link to the ne blog? I want to go there.
OOPS... spyware scan finished... gotta go!!
Thanx

My bad too, Pennimon.

Do you even have the capacity to be civil? I was fully aware of that PR. Since I was being civil, I guess thats why you didn't understand either what I was asking or why. I'm asking if anyone knows anything specific beyond that. I honestly think that, if you had any brains, you'd take them out amd play with them. You have to be one of the least considerate people I've ever had to deal with.
Here's a suggestion... make a concerted effort to NOT begin your posts with accusatory statements.
Try it. You'll like it. And the rest of us will too.
Thats what I meant the other day when I pointed out that every time somebody other than the oldies chimed in with a question, you guys toss insults and insipidly vacuous inconsiderate meannesses not the smallest particle of which contain anything other than mindless venom.
Grow up, child.
Imperial Whazoo
Hey board -
Some unanswered questions... anyone with anything relevant (even if it seems irrelevant) please feel free to contribute.
1. Does anybody know what happened to Rubicon?
2. Does anyone know anything about the 8.5% line of credit extended by Royal?
3. If Bonhomme is involved in both Tyche & Hydroslotter, does anyone know for sure his exact involvement with each? Is he on the board at Hydroslotter or is he a partner or what? How many hats does he wear at Tyche Canada? Also, what exactly id his title(s)? And the same for Rowe? What are his exact roles?
4. Since the meetings regarding Tyche that are upcoming are to decide on operational issues and since Bonhomme represents that he has distanced himself from BIGN, WWNG, and Tyche USA operations, and since there has not been a decision made yet regarding how Tyche US and Tyche Canadian will interact, I wonder if anyone out there on the board has any insight regarding exactly who it is who will be making the decision on how the Canadian company called Tyche will interact with the new US entity called Tyche? OK, fine... but, does anyone know who these mystery decision makers are?
5. Is there any documentation other than postings to the board that documents the limitation of the slotting arrangement between BIGN and Hydroslotter, proving that it does not extend beyond wells #3 & #4 at Grimes?
6. And further, given that the 8.5% line of credit from Royal was related to work to be done at Grimes, and given that Royal holds extensive leaseholds in the Sacramento River Valley producing region (Grimes) [I'll go back and read the article I pulled down on Royal's activities... I think they have about 200 wells in the area.... could be wrong], does anyone actually know whether BIGN still has access to that line of financing and whether that is part of the problem with the pace of work being out there in Grimes? After all, the PR announcements that there was this 8.5% tranche available and that there were dozens & dozens of wells to be done in 2006 were PRs coming relatively close to each other, so I always presumed that there was a relationship between Royal (large property holder in the area) and the wells to be done in 2006. So, with it now being clear that the projections for 2006 were pure fiction, I wonder about the access to the 8.5% tranche and the now reported fact that the relationship between BIGN & Hydroslotter at Grimes does not extend beyond the present wells that are being completed.
If this is too confusing, I'll try to simplify it, but I only have 15 posts and this is not the only board I post to.
Imperial Whazoo
Thanx man -
I'm nosing around to see if the pennies & pinkies are participating. Looks like money isn'r flowing that way. But, BIGN will be strong as soon as news on Grimes gets out.
I'm in HMY at 12.17. It was a triple gap play staring right at me. My real-time comes with a primitve scripting language and I've written some cuatom alert flags to tell me when stuff starts happening. I had all the ones in my list flag on me. All were big volume pullbacks... very violent but they all rejected the lows and closed back up indise their lows. Solid looking consistent support trend across a whole set of stocks, all behaving similarly.
BIGN needs to close this deal before something unpredictable happens on the world scene, IMHO.

I just noticed the similarities between the apparent fact that the oils I'm watching & the golds are both indicating that the violent selling of the previous days is spent and buyers are coming back in.... mostly, new lows having been rejected which implies thee next wave will be topside.
I happen to notice, however, that pennies in both oil & gold seem to NOT be participating....
AND also, neither BIGN nor WWNG are turning the tide on their respective trends. Wish either or both would at leat burp loudly!!
Come on... just give me some sign of life!!

Thanx Tyler & shermann7 -
Oil inventory numbers just came out. Oil inventories down, distilleds up.
I watch have various lists I jump to, gold.... oil equipment.... bird flu..... that kind of thing. Anyway, you would not believe the consistency I am seeing in the Oil & Gas group I put together. I discard a lot of stocks from my list because they have to meet a set of unvarying criteria or theydon't get onto it. So, it is not your standard Oil & Gas list, I don't think. Anyway... there is a consistent pattern to the ones I'm watching. I'll keep my eye on how they react to the inventory report.
Basically, Lancaster & the boyz need to strike while the iron is hot.
Imperial Whazoo
Now this is ONLY my opinion but here it is:
I think that the moderate Arab states, as a "reward" to Bush for strongarming Israel to force them to stop their attacks in Lebanon, are "enabling" the pullbacks in resource prices on a temporary basis during the run up to the mid term elections. Thats the key.... they've made a value judgement that they'd rather see Bush do the best he can in the midterms because they fear what will happen if there are policies in the next 2 years that are more strongly in conformity to those of the Democrats. Its a close call (probably), with a lot of internal dissent amongst the various moderate Arabs, but, IMHO, it looks like the Saudi royal family has spoken and the interim policies are to create as favorable an environment for Bush as is possible in the run up to the midterm elections.
I have as much proof as any other ordinary guy sitting in his home in middle Amereica, but thats the way I see it for now.
Real crazy gyrations, though. The stimulus the oil sector has take will take several quarters to dissipate, so the balance sheets of oil companies will be really solid for the upcoming quarters....
And, if my theory is on target, we'll see increases in oil prices again post election.... or, if terrorism ramps up bigtime in the Middle East with the moderate states being the targets, we will see prices resume their climb. This is only a short term wave down IMHO, and I see it as very temporary... largely politically driven.

Noce thought Ace,
I add the following supplamental thoughts, not that your's needs adding to.
1. This has been a very low volume pull back.
2. Today was a hammer.
Conclusion: Up Up UP!!
IMHO, that is.
Nice observation.... one question, though. the prior instance of the cross of the 200 and the 50, the 50 crossed above the 200 from below. This upcoming cross of the 50 & 200.... its with the 50 crossing from above to below. Are you sure the cross direction is irrelevent?
Just wondering. I've never traded the "golden cross".

Imperial Whazoo
Thanx NewMoney4me -
I'll say it no more if the oldies will quit trying to shout down the rest of us. Sorry to have been so repetitious. Just trying to craft a more civil board. (Check out Spooz.... they are just as civil as can be on that board, for example).
Imperial Whazoo
Thankx man.
Turned that feature off long ago because I wasn't interested in seeing it every time I got on the BIGN board. I actually forgot about it was there.
As regards their investment bankers... I suppose there must be some investment bankers involved unless the VCs behind the scenes are doing that as part of their doings.
Just a random thought I had a while back... what do they call it? A brain fart. Take it for what it is.
Thanx again. Imperial Whazoo
Halada -
Actually, the board does kinda find the info helpful.... just the oldies who, for some unknown reason always try to stomp out any new thought.... thats who try to shout me down whenever I contribute along a parallel but slightly differing line. My private messages disagree with you, by the way. Everytime I chime in with something useful, one of the oldies can be counted on to try to shout me down.... but then there are those other private messages which show that the majority hates the meanness of the oldies on this board and they appreciate my comments. Oh well.... you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
Secondly, I'm not a new investor in BIGN. I'm in long and have been for long long long. And, I trade for a living. I visit and contribute to other boards and guess what....? They are universally more civil than the oldies have made this one. I'm rather tired of hearing the oldies lecture on what this board likes. I'll tell you what this and any other board wants: thoughtful posts that are informed, honest, and civil.
That having been said, some folks actually like hearing the curious fact that Lancaster wears at least two hats, one as a promoter and one as an oil patch guy.
So, sorry to inform you, Halada, but, IMHO, you only think you know what posts the board is interested in.
Imperial Whazoo
eatmenasdaq, I think you hit the nail on the head.
Here's my reasoning, board folks.
First, the price of oil & natural gas has gone up Up UP!!! since the original LOI announcement date. Basically BIGN said to the seller "Let me buy you assets for $$$" and put forward some earnest money with oil at $60.00 a barrel. Then, a delay happens due to Lancaster's cancer surgery. The fact is that oil went on up way above predicted during the dd time and the delay period. If there is one company (BIGN) trying to buy the assets, you can be darn sure there are others sniffing around. The price of oil goes up, time passes for the due dilly period, the the extension, then the LOI expires.... tick tock time passes.... oil $$$ rises....
The only way the deal gets off dead center, IMHO, is for oil to start retreating in price. Since BIGN has money in the sellers pocket already and since the venture capitalists that actually own BIGN (yes, gang, look all the way back to the beginning...Biogenerics is a venture capitalist outfit from Toronto who have become accidental oil men, as it were).... anyway, IMHO, the venture capitalists have figured out that they have to get assets they control (rigs, slottable properties, 3D seismic, gas injection technologies....) or, somewhere down the road, the Schlumberge's of the world will "pirate" the slotting technology (or Hydroslotter will cut a new deal and effectively cut the venture capitalists out entirely) and their investment will be essentially worthless. They therefore HAVE to make a deal.... they will, IMHO, find the money to do this deal.
That having been said, the decline in the price of oil may be exactly the thing that is needed to get the sellers to finalize things. In essence, sign now before the price of oil drops further. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.... that kind of thing.
Thats how I see it. Could very well be wrong, but thats my take.
Imperial Whazoo
Hey gratli1028 -
I posted on 9/7 (# 14965) that I once called Tyler and they answered the phone as an entertainment promoter company. Boy did I ever catch a bunch of cheap shots from all the oldies on this board for having the audacity to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, about something that actually happened to me and that now appears to at least be tangentially supported by your post. Fact is, I did call Tyler and the gal did answer the phone as an entertainment promoter company and I, like you, kinda think that it might be worth mentioning.
Now you are reporting this Top Entertainment thing... Apparently, Lancaster and the boyz are in the entertainment promoter business. Thats what I tried to tell the oldies but I got yelled at for it. Oh well. Laancaster apparently has a bio that contains oil patch stuff but it sure looks like he makes money in other ways too... in this case. as an entertainment promoters. Thanks for the confirming post gratli1028.
Some of us defend ourselves fiercely simply because we actually are honest and don't like being slapped around just because we have different info to report. That, IMHO, is not bashing. Its standing up for facts. Bashing is arch.... and, finally, arch and his vulgarity, is gone. Goodbye and good riddance!
Thanks again gratli1028.
Imperial Whazoo
Hey Gargoyle -
Where did you get that info? Did you call the transfer agent or something?
Also, anyone ever talk to the transfer agent? Who is their transfer agent? And does anyone know who acts as their investment banker (if they even have on, that is?) Anyone know any of this?
Imperial Whazoo
Thank Poker -
I use the old Freetrade @ $5 a side still, even though it has been acquired by TD Ameritrade. Don't like TD Ameritrade... Looking around is all i'm doing now but I was not aware of Foliofn until your help. Thanx.

check out this quote. Got it off the Spooz board (can't claim it as mine therefore).

Nah -
I only toss crap if its chunked at me. Here's the kind of things I prefer doing....
- recounting a conversation that might be helpful? Worth a stab.
- mentioning that the Dallas digs are high dollar? Might be worth mentioning.
- How about this... finishing the day with a few thoughts about technical analysis. Now thats a really wicked chunk of crap to be tossing out there, don't you think.
If you'll notice, it sorta looks like some of this new blood youz guys are so hateful to are actually the ones trying to change this from a monkey cage to a cizilized blog.
So, old BIGN bloggers... pay attention... your not the poster children for civilized blogging. So quit lecturing those of us who not only trade for a living but also who think there are others out there in BIGN bloggerland who might just be more willing to share their input if they didn't think they'd get pissed on for the terrible crime of daring to open their mouths.
Got it?
Imperial Whazoo
Yeh -
Its so much worse now. Heck, remember the good ol' days when the board resembled a the monkey cage at the Dallas Zoo? All the all monkeys tossing crap at each other and calling it thought...? yeh, those were the good ol' days. Yessirrebob!
All us new folks have just screwed up your private club by actually changing both the tone and the subject matter.
Ahh... the good ol' days...

I'd be interested in knowing those brokers, too. I'm not able to send private messages because I havent antied up for a subscription yet. If you can do so, simply post it to the blog.
Thanx in advance.

Bad office space is right. Yesterday and the day before, there were some comments about Tyche's new oppulent office space in Dallas.
Frankly, now that everybody has gotten to know each other and I've let down my guard enough to tell the board a small snippet about my up-clese and personal experience as regards the Texas oil patch, I can place my stamp of approval on rdavis'e comments about REAL oil guys having lousy office space. He is 100% right.
You would not have believed the office space we rented for nearly 20 years. We closed that office about 3 years back and I tried to sell some of the furnishings at a garage sale. No dice. I couldn't give the stuff away. Had to haul it out front to be picked up by the city on trash day.
So, thats one of the reasons I recall posting my opinion that Tyche, by renting the ridiculously priced office space, was "all flash & no substance". I realize I was being overly harsh, but I liked the way that phrase rolls off my tongue so I used it.
Anyway, I actually believe they have something good underneath all the mistake in judgement they are making. so, I am not bailing on BIGN, WW, or on Tyche. Even so, by renting such lousy office space,in Tyler, I actually think it better proves their bona fides than the ridiculous offices Tyche has moved to here in big D.
Imperial Whazoo
I'm

Thanks for making me laugh. I needed that!

I THINK Gary's name is Watkins, but I'm not sure. I'm running kinda fast and don't always make readable notes.
I called the Tyler office after they opened. My family has land in Quitman, the same place as that most recent "defunct" LOI that went by the wayside on Aug. 31. As it so happens, my family business is oil & gas....we have East Texas property.
So, at the behest of a family member who owns the minerals of the Quitman property, I called to just nose around. There's more than one way of finding out if that old Quitman LOI land is near ours, but one such way is to just ask where the land is. Basically I had to in mind tracking down info to supplement my general understanding of the viability of all these "trumpetted/monumentally grest" deals.
Anyway, the guy I talked to obviously had not been jaundiced yet by all the hammering that has since happened on him by all "youze-guyze" and I ended up getting an invite to come out and we talked BBQ restraunts and Mexican restraunts... generally thinking about my visiting them at some time to chat and have lunch.... thet kind of thing.
Anyway, his name was Watkins, I think, and one thing this guy did tell me was that he was the accountant/financial guy in house there and that he and Lancaster went way back (I think he said som 20 odd years) in the oil patch. I didn't try to hide the fact that I'm from an oil & gas environment myself. Actually, I just wanted to pick up enough info so we (some of the folks in my family) could make inquiries and search division orders on property to see if we could piece together a better picture of Lancaster.
Anyway, this Watkins guy was pretty civil until about my third call. Got testy and basically told me that he didn't want to hear about my background in the oil business. I guess he clued in on the fact that I was nosing around, turning over rocks just to see what was under them. I haven't called back. No point.
Anyway, thats who I think this Gary fella is. I could be wrong, of course, but just thought that shoving my recollections on this episode into the blog might be useful... heck, you never know what one of "youze-guyze" might come up with in way of feedback that helps all of us get a better picture in our mind's eyes.
So, thats what happened, from the "for what its worth department"....
Imperial Whazoo
I posted yesterday evening after close (see 14927) and my view today stands from a technicals point of view. Except for the fact that it had really low volume yesterday, the action today was consistent. today, it rejected the low and refused to set even an intraday new low. It posted more volume today than yesterday and it refused new lows. Plainly put, the sellers at new lows have not materialized. Put another way, it is clear that there are buyers at these levels and, to tempt new buyers, the MMs are not having to push it to new lows. IMHO, the bottom (pre-news, that is) is in.
That being said, I still find it suspicious that these mirrored down side instantaneous type of trades are a FACT. What the ever lovin' blue eyed heck is the explanation?
Imperial Whazoo
I noticed that to (see post 15092 today).
So, lets think it through.
The MMs keep popping it down every time a trade executes. So, lets say you buy at .02. So, presumably, one of the MMs filled you. BAM!.. A mirrored trade happens instantaneously for the exact size but at .0195. Well, MMs are in it to make a nickle, so why wouldn't they trade at the last fill price? Why mirror down every time? I don't get it. There's got to be a piece of missing info. Any ideas out ther as to what is going on?
Imperial Whazoo
New to the board, but I gotta agree with you. Doesn't pass the smell test, IMHO.
Imperial Whazoo
I was concerned when I saw the Form 144 sales but the form 144 link on the NASDAQ website did not show any others with Spooz selling their shares. Also, how many shares does he now own (minus these, of course?)
How sure are you he's getting married? And, if it were me, I'd want to have the decks cleared so nothing happened while I was on my honeymoon.... so, do you know the date of this upcoming event, together with those of his honeymoon, perchance? If he is getting married and if there is some upcoming good news just around the corner, I'd bet you dollars to doughnuts that it will ALL come out prior to his big day, IMHO. After all, would you want breaking news to potentially spoil your big day? Talk about one of those arguments that gets remembered (and recounted, too) FOREVER by his wife if he fails to iron out all that sort of stuff prior to the big day (being married, I can speak on this issue personally).
New to the board.... long time shareholder.
Imperial Whazoo.
I love the way anytime someone buys at .02 today, it gets immediately hit within a nanosecond, matched up and back down at .019. Anybody else see that last action happen? Somebody is poppin' this puppy!
Ooops... gotta go sell somethin'. BORL looks like the run is over. Made 3.04% on it. 3rd ride on it this month. Check it out!

All I know is that I called and thats how they answered the phone and that is what I remembered thinking after I reflected on it afterwards. Don't know if its true. Just know it happened and I stuffed that little tidbit of knowledge away in a pidgeon hole for some future time.
Thought I'd toss it out to the community to see if it jarred something else that might be meaningful loose.

Imperial Whazoo
I bet you dollars to doughnuts that this is an executive office suite. In Tyler, once I called and the gal answering the phone at BIGN answered using some other company name. I said something like "Oh, I was trying to reach Biogenerics....." to which she replied "Its the same. Both of these companies are owned by the same folks and they share the offices here" or something along those lines. So I asked her what the other company did and she told me that they were promoters. "Promoters?!", I said and she replied that the other company brought entertainment to the Tyler venues, like country musical acts or off-Broadway... that kind of thing.
I remeber thinking: "Well, I sure don't like that bit of info because I hardly think the thinking of a promoter should be guiding an oil venture like BIGN." My own family business going back almost 100 years here in Texas is the oil business so I know something about what constitutes good judgement in the oil and gas business. The skillset and the thinking is vastly different between being an entertainment promoter and an oil n gas businessman. And, if these guys really are experienced promoters, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for them to be so bad ad communicating about the direction and the activities of their companies. I remember thinking that the only promoting they seem to be capable of is promotions that are in their own personal self-interest.
Anyway, my guess is that the Crescent Court address is a ritzy executive suite. All flash & no substance.
Imperial Whazoo
The link to the Form 144 I posted a little while ago shows sales by insiders. Anyone know about a form showing buying or that reports on sales by non insiders? Think there isn't any such form but thought I might inquire of the community.
Imperial Whazoo
I'm new to this board but have been a Spooz shareholder for a long long time.
Think this link might generate some thought out there in the community.
Check this out:

Here's my question: is Strickland buying or selling these shares? Somebody out there must know more about Form 144. What is it? Anybody able to add to my comprehension here?
Thanx,
