J, Tip from Grandpa. Give those kids a monster hug EVERY morning.
One day you'll wake up & say "Where did hell the kids go" ?
Appreciate every second you have with them.
I coulda killed mine a million times but somehow, with love, we survived !!
jbo. Not being a smart ass in the least. But, what I do when I'm looking
for info is just Google it. In this case I would just go to Google &
enter "What does dtc chill mean ?" in the search box or something like that.
Investopedia is a great site for financial info as well.
Another good site for stock promotions is StockPromotors.com
Happy & prosperous trading Amigo.
Trading DTC 'chilled' stocks is dependent upon which broker you elect to use.
Some houses allow it, some do not. I went thru this same scenario
a couple of months ago. Questrade (Canada) do not allow it. I believe,
if memory serves, Schwab does. Apparently it is an in-house rule as to
whether yea or nay.
Xander, I read the sticky posted by kairos. Yes, for sure it mentions a dividend, but
it will be a stock dividend not a cash dividend. Read the post by kairos for yourself.
Looks like a helluva deal for MWIP. Appears shareholders are #1 in CEO'S book.
See where our leader got a mention on the MWIP boards. They're excited he posted there.
Garyst has a lot of juice in the investment community & deservedly so.
Poor guy has taken tons of heat over the years & he just keeps plugging
along like the true professional he is. We're lucky to have him.
MWIP
MWIP. Ask him which sticky? I eyeballed all 4. No mention of a divvy.
He musta read it wrong I'm a thinkin'.
MWIP. I just Googled MWIP financials to get the info I posted.
MWIP. Xander, checked Yahoo! Finance as of y'day 8 Feb re a divvy for MWIP.
They report Div + (Yield) is N/A (N/A). I assume N/A means non-applicable.
Also, the latest quarterly report (SEC 10-Q) I could find on MWIP is dated 30 Sept 2012.
Cash flow shows dividends as a - (dash) meaning zippo/nada/zero/rien/zilch
Why is this ? Many buys & sells happening, but, on the Level II, the bid &
ask prices and quantities do not change in lock step. From what I've read, Level II
is suppose to give you an indication of which MM is accumulating & which MM
is unloading. Who actually makes the changes on the bid/ask ? The MM's
thru their Level III (3) keyboards or what ?
Right on bro. Being up 13% on say a $1,000.00 bet ain't that bad.
Better being up $130.00 is way than being down $1130.00 in the crapper.
Think about that. We're talking $1260.00 difference in the jeans
The green eyed greed monster has got me more than once !!!!!
Just a suggestion here, but do you think it would be a good idea to include
the ticker symbol along with the posts. A lot of times, some posts are in
reply to previous posts. You have to keep clicking back to see which stock
is being referred to. 20% rule.. gives you shivers just thinking about it !
GG. Please explain what you mean by tons of support ?
What do you look for ?
You guys/gals with your 20% rule is a brilliant idea.
Thanx Bro & keep up with the great posts.
Nice to see no adolescent bickering going on here as well.
Yikes, 171 newsletters promoting IMNG. Blue skies ahead !!!!!
10:48 Don't think so. Down 15% from the open. Does not bode well.
Fair enough. But where are these suitable investors ? Not a heck of a lot
of 'investing' (buying) going on witness the drop again today.
490K buy vol. 2.1 mil sell vol.
Paul, If you had bought & sold SNPK between April 2 & April 17, it was golden.
There was a 2 week window to make great coin. April 18 & later..... sour grapes.
I know because I was up $1894.00 on a $1,000.00 buy & got greedy.
More, more, more. Result : gonzo. Cannot blame SNPK for MY stupidity & greed !!!!!!!
To see what 'cash4' is talking about. Just go to the message board and
click on the view posters tab. This will give you who has posted & how
many times. Click on their alias name & it tells you if they are Investor
Relations Professionals (IRP) or not. As far as posters on GVIT, 8 of the
top 10 posters are IRP'S. 2 are not. To be fair to them, they do not hide
the fact that they are pros. Thanks 'cash4', never knew this until I dug it
up this aft. Went back on GVIT posts looking for bashers until I got tired
of looking. Unless I missed one, I never found any & yet the son of a gun
is going down. Can anybody tell me why ? I can't see it.
Try minus 32 below C (-27F) like here in South central Canada this AM.
Car just groaned when I tried to start it. Forget it bro.
Lived here all my life. You NEVER get use to the brutal cold !!!!!!
Is that good or bad if you're long & why ?
Newby question.
GVIT
Gary, What is bid stacking ? Which market participants do it & what are
they trying to accomplish ? I Googled it so as not to bother you
but all I got was some websites pertaining to eBay bidding. Thanx
Shorting. Could be institutions shorting to hedge their convertible debt.
What they lose on the short, they gain on the debt ( convertible bonds for example).
Short interest is not what it appears to be in some instances.
Never knew barchart had this feature. Into the arsenal. Thanks Bro.
$$$$$$$$$. 4 separate promotors, according to "Stock Promotors.com" are
being paid $450,000.00 EACH by a 3rd party, Ruminate Inc., to provide
market awareness of FMYR. Makes your knees weak does it not ?
C'mon man... be civil. I asked you a legit question. Answer it.
Hope you don't get in. What's that about ?
We're all here just trying to make a buck or two.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Where can I read about this new deal in EDVP ? I'd like to read it and come
to my own conclusions before I jump in.. All I can find is they've relocated
their corporate offices & renamed their operating subsidiary.
Can find nothing about this new deal of which you speak.
Well, I stand corrected. I gleaned my info from www.pennystockresearch.com
The article was penned by a Mr. Brian Walker. Clearly, he has not kept
abreast of EDVP's recent new resurrection either. He titled his report Pump and
Dump Alerts. You should maybe email him & clue him in as well. I'm sure
he does not want to bash EDVP if it is unwarranted. I wish you well sir
and hope you make nothing but bank with EDVP. His article was penned
11 Jan last.
How's this for exciting ? EDVP has an accumulated deficit of $18,490,590.00 !!!!!
Promotor Stock Roach says "If we get even a nudge to the upside this
morning, EVDP could catch fire and gives me a satisfying case of
'deja vu !"........... How's that for a professional analysis that was
bought & paid for to the tune of $7,500.00 ?
Mike King did not pay the $350K. A 3rd party named Ruminate did. For what
that is worth.
Awareness is out there for sure. TRLI (or somebody) has paid 7 promotors
a total of $355,000.00 for "featuring" TRLI. What did TRLI get for this
wheelbarrow full of cash ? .... A reduction of $0.020 cents a share today or a loss of 16% on the day.
Kinda like buying beer and making your living from selling the beer bottles.
Excellent. Get those stops in place & let the winners run with trailing
stops. All that matters is the graph. Trade 'em don't marry 'em.
StockPromotors.com today say there has been $411,000.00 put into ZPPB for
hype & advertising lately. Latest quote shows $0.169 (down 8.65%)... Jeez!!
Nice return for all the money spent. For sure, 1/2 the mailing list gone !!
Mooned the crowd in GB ? Did not know that. C'mon now.. that's funny !!!!
Come up with a Michael Vick type story on him & you've got something.
Yes, I've seen this & thank you but it does not show activity.
Like how many trades on Dec 12th or Dec 13th or Dec 14th.
The reason I ask is that activity indicates liquidity for us small guys.
For example lets say volume is 50,000 shares for the day. There is a big
difference, in my opinion, between 2 X 25000 share trades vs 50 X 1000 share trades.
I'd say getting in & out in the 50 share scenario would be easier to sell or get filled.
I always look at the number of trades before making my decision.
I imagine most people do but I've been wrong before. Agree ?
Why is that ? Who determines or makes the decision as to whether a stock
is optionable or not ? Parameters to be met or what ?
I know this & thank you. What I'm looking for is a site that shows the number of trades per day in days gone by.
Dannie, does not show the number of trades in day's past.
Finding historic open/hi/lo/close/volume is no problem.
Finding volume is no problem. Finding the number of trades per day is.
Thanks anyway Amigo, much appreciated.
Apparently they got tired of waiting for it to do something.
Shareholders maybe were moaning about opportunity costs but dunno.
One of WUHN's executives has over 20 million shares.
No doubt optioned so free $$$$ for him. Lucky devil.
Hope he buys the promotors some flowers at least.
Anybody know a site where you can check the number of past trades per day (historic) on WUHN ?
(Or any other stock for that matter ). Good to know for liquidity purposes.
They also ride bikes & pull rickshaws to workee.
These guys are dentists in training.
They're pulling a molar on an elephant.
