Operate with no funds??? Chase has taken out MILLIONS!!! This is money that could have been put to very good use. Management needs to be held to a higher standard.
I appreciate your words, but it is always "what they are about to do". We need doing!!
Staying long.
We need some serious confidence right now my friend. Lets see what happens.
I will worry when Mr. Jensen starts to sell.
Chas is in NC in his new mansion. He can invest in his company right now he is too busy spending your money.
no idea. but he stated earlier that he makes a "grand" a day the old fashion way. i would guess from his name "aztreedoc" that he is a tree trimmer in AZ. great guy to take stock advice from. IMHO
I will loose faith in NEOM if we start to see insiders jumping ship or selling shares. Chas already shook my faith with all of the selling he did.....now he is sitting pretty with your hard earned dollars. Go figure.
I am a very amature investor. Please give some advice. Is it a good time to buy more, or wait a little longer to see if we get into the teens?
interesting find in Japan.
NTT DoCoMo, Rakuten to develop cell phone Internet auction system
NTT DoCoMo, Inc., a major mobile phone company, and Rakuten Inc., the operator of Japan's leading online shopping mall, will develop a mobile phone Internet auction system and begin operating it from autumn, company officials said.
The system will allow customers to use cameras on their mobile phones to take photos of goods and put them up for auction. Moreover, users can use a mobile phone payment system called "Osaifu Keitai" to make payment for goods they buy on mobile phone auctions.
Rakuten Auction, founded in December last year by splitting Rakuten's auction division, will provide the service. NTT DoCoMo holds about a 40 percent stake in Rakuten Auction.
Rakuten Auction will allow individuals and businesses to use the new system to participate in Rakuten's Internet auctions conducted on computers.
Yahoo! Japan, a member of the Softbank group, operates the nation's largest Internet auction service with annual sales of 35.9 billion yen in the business year that ended last March.
Rakuten, with sales of 550 million yen in the business year up to December 2004, will try to compete with Yahoo! by encouraging about 46.7 million users of NTT DoCoMo's "i-mode" Internet service to participate in its mobile phone auctions, industry sources said. (Mainichi)

A very late (been in Japan) thanks to all that attended the SHM and have been kind enough to share opinions with us. I am trying to read up on on that has been posted. What I have read so far has me even more excited about the future. GO NEOM!!
anyone else see the plunge on the chart? Mistake or real?
Why? Do you expect no new news from the SHM?
I agree with you. It kills me that they want to add more.
I am with you on the good news, I just wonder what kind of good news is need to pull this stock out of the quicksand. We have had so many good PR's and it doesnt seem to get any traction.
I think that there will be some explosive news at the SHM, lets hope that it will start the ball rolling.
GO NEOM!!!!
state780... are you long or short? Just curious. I think that the way many watch this board, they are really shorts that have been forced to go long by the way they are watching every penny. Iam in for the long game, but I have to say that unless things get cracking at NEOM, I would start to wonder if I would take $1.00 and run.
Lets hope for some news that will get this stock moving at the SHM.
Anyone want to bet that after the SHM, Chas will go on a wild selling spree?
appreciate the honesty. I have not been around as long as you, still learning and hoping for the best.
Movieguy...
Please enlighten us about management. Tell us about them and why they are so wonderful. Give details, not ideas. Facts please.
Thanks.
8eights...
I have to respectfully disagree with you.
The "best" horse with the "best" care does not always win.
My thoughts exactly.
Thats what is need is thinking outside the box. You have nothing to be embarassed about...great work!! Dont know why anyone would bag on your efforts. Even a small fraction of the myspace crowd would be huge.
Many on this board are a crooked stockbroker/ financial planners dream. You expect nothing out of the management that runs the compnay that you have your money invested in. And while millions are taken away, and the pps plunges, you still say all is well. If this trend continues, all is not well.
Easy clawman....you are going to get labled as a basher. How dare you speak like this. I agree with your post.
Howard...
You are always so quick to defend the management, why? Anyone that is a true leader and had faith in his company would NOT SELL shares right now. This is the same kind of situation as if you worked at a company that was laying off employees and everyone was taking pay cuts to stay afloat and save the company and then the boss shows up in a new Mercedes and tells you about the exotic vacation he is going on next month. What Chas is doing is legal, but it is not right!! Call it like it is.
I think the mutiny will come if we see Mr. Jensen and Chas's father start to sell. If that happens, listen for the fat lady....wait..... do I hear her??? I sure hope not.
Also, let not "assume" anything, that where all of this craziness comes from is assuming and speculating.
NEOMBRIDGE I do hope you are right in your assumption on June 28 news.:)
Boy it is refreshing to hear some real concern on this board.
It is OK to dream and have ideas about what might be, but lets keep it realistic for what is now at hand.
blackydog your comments have given me new faith in this board. Thanks!!
cabbie70...
We will know that there is a BIG problem if we start to see Mr. Jensen and Chas's father start selling. Look out below if they do.
Well, the tone has certainly changed around this board. Last week anyone with a "questionable" view of management was attacked as a "basher", now it seems that we are getting out of lala land and wanting some real answers. Its about time!!!
Nice to see that many of the natives are getting restless. I think this is great. As shareholders we need to make our voices heard.
P.S. Chas needs to go!!!
onthetake..
I appreciate your view. I dont mind if you are a "flag waver", just make sure it isnt a white flag.:)
beam11..
You are correct. When I said "take all you want", that was not serious talk. I agree that anything on the take should be performance based. Leadership needs to know that no performance means no compensation (besides salary).
If this perfomance based compensation could be enacted, it would be a huge boost to this possibly great company.
That is correct.
I look forward to some NEOM dominance in Eurpoe and the USA. It will be great to see. Hopefully not to far away.
Drmyke3,
Japan has us beat by a mile. I have lived there on and off for the past 17 years. The mobile technology they have is years ahead of us.
I am sure that he will get the point if we all are sending emails and calling the office. I dont mean this in a "psycho" way, but just let our voices be heard.
Those of us that attend the SHM should ask if he is planning to sell more and if so, WHY?
If he does submit a planned sale again, it will be a real shame if WE dont do something about it.
I understand that it is his company (per say), but it is our money running it. There must be a give and take, not just take.
Chas, wait till we start to see green, then take all you want.
success622..
Thanks. I know there is the planned sale, I just wish he wouldnt have done this. He is already getting a good salary. This should be enough until we all see results. I have a hard time understanding why he is doing this. Just looks very bad.
When things get better, he can take all he wants, until then he should stop. IMHO.
Yea, I hear ya, but I am still long. I think things will start to get better soon.
I agree this has been a very big gamble for us that are shareholders....but worth the risk I believe.
I do have to say, if Chas sells more shares, I will blow a @#$%&*% gasket. Our gamble is paying him quite nicely. IMHO.
Help me understand why it is with good news starting to flow, we are getting NO action on share price. I am starting to wonder, but I havent lost my faith.
Why is it assumed by many that Chas is the brains running this company? It clearly states on the NEOM website that as of June 2002, his role is that of "consultant" and "advisor to the company", as well as continuing to serve as "chairman of the board of directors". He may be the founder of this potentially great company, but I do not believe that he is the brains now. I hope at the ASM, we can actually find out what he does (besides sell shares). Mr. Jensen is the man that should be getting credit IMHO.
Andrew138,
Great comments. Couldnt agree more.
