TRIE: .07x.09. Put in an order for 10K at .07, and they raised bid/ask without filling any of my order. So it has gone from .03x.05 to .07x.09 on 9700 shares! Tell me that isn't movement.
Good financials is what matters these days. Many BBs have no revs at all. This one has good revs and costs under control. It will get noticed. Now is the best time to get it when no one else sees it. Waiting for stocks to run IMO is the worst time to jump in. We've all learned that sometimes the hard way!
I agree. The MMs aren't going to be able to hold it down. They had EPS of.03/sh last qtr. and are actually making money! Unlike many BBs. Market cap less than 1M.
Oh well. Would have had to wait a week on it. This co. is in trouble IMO. Could have just as easily been another JORE.
LASV, .28x.31. Woo hoo.! Called it at .22 last Friday. Shac, you there buddy?
NWKC is down. Darn, what in the hell is a causing IBEM to move so much? Damn Patsy. Our timing is bad!
VIZY had a R/S creamrising. Not really up at all.!
Out of RTRN @ .22. Don't know what is driving iy up. I've been wanting out of this for awile and don't want to take my chances.
Shac, at least LASV is moving up! Now .26x.29. The bands are tight!
Shac, at least LASV is moving up! Now .26x.29. The bands are tight!
They posted a profit of .03/share which is better than most. Wouldn't laugh too hard! I bought 20K at .05 yesterday. Good hold.
I may puke with you. I had this POS in the .015 range. The OTCBB makes no sense these days. This co. a POS. They put out fluff PRs and have never really done anything.
Gotta go back to my freaking meeting. See ya later.
What's driving RTRN? Glad to see it. I have some @ .17. Trying to decide whether to sell.
I will be in another meeting from 9-12, so will hopefully get a break to check on things. Have a good day and make some money!!!
Energy plays to watch are CROE (as Larry mentioned) , GARB (already ran yesterday, but could do another SSPC), GVLT (Got some yesterday around .50, O/S is 18M, float only 8-9M and had real news yesterday), IPTM (Shacs favorite hasn't been noticed yet), EVOP (more expensive but still in play), TRGC (ran yesterday, but came down on profit taking; could have another round of buying. I bought some @ .12 in case)

Greenvolt Power's Unique Reverse Fuel Cell Makes Hydrogen on the Spot -- Fits in with Bush-Cheney Energy Plan
Refcell(TM) Uses Less Energy to Produce Hydrogen and Oxygen From Water and Alleviates Need for Costly, Inefficient Transport of Hydrogen Gas
ORILLIA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2001-- Greenvolt Power Corp (OTCBB:GVLT - news), a development stage company specializing in alternative energy sources, today announced its new Refcell(TM), a reverse fuel cell that can be energized by wind or photovoltaic power sources and is capable of splitting water into its component gasses (hydrogen and oxygen) for multiple, cross-industry needs.
Whereas fuel cells catalytically combine hydrogen and oxygen into water to generate electricity, the Refcell(TM) separates the two gasses, essentially releasing them for other purposes. The advent of the Refcell(TM), which can also supply the hydrogen needed to fuel other fuel cells, has cross-industry implications and answers the fuel needs of any company that needs hydrogen and oxygen.
The Greenvolt announcement is serendipitous in light of President Bush's recent energy plan, which, though controversial, points to a near-future need for a ``hydrogen economy''. The plan also mentions possible use of hydrogen in furnaces, as well as fuel for all major modes of transport. In addition, the report suggests tax breaks for buyers of fuel cell-powered and hybrid gas-electric vehicles.
``We're very pleased that the Bush government has recognized the value of hydrogen as an ecologically convenient and efficient fuel,'' stated Thomas Faul, President and CEO of Greenvolt Power Corp, whose new Refcell(TM) produces hydrogen from water, the earth's most abundant natural resource, and alleviates the need for costly, inefficient transport of liquid and/or highly compressed hydrogen.
Bush's attention to hydrogen, he continued, ``is a great boon to the whole question of reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and we are very encouraged that the government is considering supporting such activities.''
As a result of the energy task force's recommendations, fuel cell companies' stock has shown a sharp rise in the past few days. FuelCell Energy (FCEL:Nasdaq) was up $5.41, or 6.3% to $90.69, while PlugPower (PLUG:Nasdaq) jumped $4.32 or 14.8%, to $33.46. Ballard Power Systems (BLDP:Nasdaq) was up 0.7% to $57.84 while H Power Corp. stock rose $2.32 to $12.97, a 22% increase.
How Greenvolt Refcell(TM) Meets Energy Demand
Typically, hydrogen and oxygen are electrically separated from water with water-alkali electrolyzer devices. The GVLT Refcell(TM) requires 20% less electrical energy and features a system weight and bulk that is 6 to 9 times smaller than equivalent devices. In addition to considerable energy savings, the explosion-proof Refcell(TM) also boasts long-term durability while lowering generating costs and requiring substantially less in system capital. This is due in part to the fact that water produced in the hydrogen and oxygen-driven fuel cell is re-used by the Refcell(TM), and both gasses can be delivered to storage pressure vessels at 80 to 3000 psi without the need for compressors.
The Refcell(TM) is ecologically neutral, uses no alkali or asbestos and requires only distilled water to produce 99.5% pure hydrogen and oxygen.
``After studying a number of hydrogen -- and oxygen-producing technologies, we believe we have settled on the best solution,'' stated Faul. ``It is less costly, and it is proven, compact, light, competitively priced -- and it is available now. We now have a simple and immediate 'fuel supply' for our Alkaline Fuel Cells as well as for most other types of fuel cells.''
Commercial Market Applications
The Refcell(TM) has broad applicability and can be used to provide a high purity supply of oxygen for:
-- laboratory and basic research -- medical and hospital applications -- altitude chambers, space vehicles and submersibles (pre-compressed
oxygen)
Also useful as a sensor for hydrogen and other gasses, the Refcell(TM) can supply hydrogen for:
-- technical uses and scientific research -- production of ceramic components in electronics -- fueling fuel cells -- hydrogen welding and certain types of metallurgical processing -- dividing hydrogen isotopes to remove deuterium and hyson out of
cooling circuits of nuclear reactors
Additional uses involving simultaneous supply of hydrogen and oxygen include storage of surplus energy generated by PVA (solar panels) and/or wind propeller-driven generators.
The Refcell(TM) comes in three different sizes: the Ref-25, which can deliver up to 100 liters/hr. of hydrogen and up to 50 liters/hr. of oxygen; the Ref-500, which will deliver up to 2500 liters/hr. of hydrogen and up to 1250 liters/hr. of oxygen; and the Ref-1700, with delivery capability of up to 100,000 liters/hr. of hydrogen and up to 50,000 liters/hr. of oxygen. I finally just looked at the OTCBB daily list from yesterday. Never seen so many OTCBB stocks delisted at one time. Some of the former OTCBB gems, such as AGLF, CGPN, ANSC are on the list. Patsy, DMSC is on the list as well. DYPR, EPMO, ESPB, FDNI, FLXP, GCDV, HICO, IFOS, JUST, LAWW are all delisted and ones I formerly owned.
Shac, looks like GUSI didn't get their filing done either. They are on the list as well.
LMRI gets the 'E' off, so will continue on the BB.
Looks like I will be removing quite a few from my watchlists. I generally do not invest in stinky pinky stocks!
Agreed on all accounts eztradin.
Picked up a little TRIE yesterday myself. The classic take down on no/low volume. It even closed @ .06 on Monday, yet all day yesterday was .03x.05 on all buys. Gapped down on no volume. Completely criminal IMO.
TDWV is moving up steadily. I don't currently own, but congrats.
AVSG had tons of buys yesterday, as well as Monday. The MM MHMY is the problem. All other MMs are positioning for a move up. IMO, complete overreaction to Friday's news.
BMKS: Have some of this in my back pocket in case real news comes. People have been saying this for sometime, but they have always filed for a reason.
Going to pick up my darn car. hate writing checks that much for a darn car. See everyone tomorrow.
Hadn't checked ETCR yet. LOL They are very tight. Tighter than a tick as they say! I think ETCR is a winner. The deal was supposed to be sealed 14 days from last Tuesday, so next week should get the news. IMO, it's already done.
Have a good night!
You got it! It has worked well for shac in finding winners. I'm trying to use this too. I posted LASV last Friday. I think that all 3 of these are waiting to bust.
The bollinger bands are the ones that are supposed to be close together. Not as familiar with the stochastic bands. Shac are u here?
MYCO, ICHC, and LASV are all ones that I own with good bands.
Yep, if the upper band is converging toward the lower band, then it is ready to either pop up or down. LASV is a good one to look at as well that is really converging.
askresearch.com is what shac posted and it works great for me.
I have this one bookmarked, then just change the symbol as needed
http://www.askresearch.com/cgi-bin/chart?symbol=nasc&exchange=USA&size=800x600&months=6+...
Me too. It has been beaten to the ground. Did you see the news they had out at the beginning of the month as well? Russian Lottery?! LOL sounds good to me!

Press Release
LASV Enterprises, Inc. Commences Negotiations with World Lottery Operator
SURREY, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2001--LASV Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB:LASV - news), www.lasv.net, announces the commencement of negotiations with one of the largest lottery operators in the world to assist LASV in the initial set up and overall operations of the lucrative National Lottery in the Russian Federation.
Press-Loto, a Russian company jointly owned by Rugby National Corp. (100% owned by LASV Enterprises, Inc.) and the Union of Journalists, each holding 50% of the Press-Loto organization, hold the sole National Lottery License. The division of revenues are as follows: Rugby National Corp. 17.5%, Union of Journalists 17.5%, 50% Prize Allocation and the remainder of the 15% has been assigned for Expense Allocation.
Based on the current projections it is estimated: first year gross sales of $500 million, and second year gross sales of $1.5 billion. Fifth year gross sales are projected at $5 billion, conservatively. The Russian Federation consists of 22 major market areas. Expansion over the five year term will encompass 45,000 terminals throughout these 22 regions servicing an increasing population of approximately 200 million.
National Lotteries have spread throughout North America and much of Europe. Comparing, gross sales for the year 2000 (in billions $) in Massachusetts $3,697.97, New York $3,629.26, Texas $2,657.29, California $2,598.38, Florida $2,324.39, Georgia $2,313.55, Ohio $2,209.10 comprising a total of $37,760.89 with a population of 246.85, to the total Canadian gross sales of $8,361.13 and a population of 40 million, and it has been reported the lottery in the United Kingdom has done in excess of $15 billion in sales in the year 2000, substantiates the unlimited potential of the market in the Russian Federation. National Lotteries which commence anywhere in the world are successful.
The Russian Federation is one of the largest independent countries, encompassing eleven time zones with a current population of 170 million. This untapped market lays home to Moscow, the capital city and the second largest city in the world, with an estimated population of 12 million and an additional 10 million located in the suburbs surrounding Moscow. Nizhy Novogorod, Russia's third largest city, has an estimated population of 2.5 million with another 2 million in the surrounding suburbs. The initial phase of operations will consist of the installation of 500 lottery terminals within Moscow during the year of 2001.
LASV is extremely excited with the negotiations and the anticipated commencement of operations in the immediate future. The potential to capitalize as the sole player of this upward climbing market while enhancing shareholder value will further ensure the rapid growth of the company.
