The cash payment could have been negotiated as a future cash payment, just a thought. I'm with you, a cash payment for these patents was likely quite expensive.
Well stated, SA!
Yet another article without QMC. I'm so looking forward to QMC mentioned as the front runner leading production. No doubt it'll be someday this year.
Well, that was short lived before someone stepped in with a 25 ask.
Wow, an ask of .27. Did they finally clear out the 25 and 26s?
Another link between QMCs metallic oxide particle shipment in April and merging markets. There could be things brewing for JV or contracts, especially with new IP that allows them to produce these types of nano particles.

Research in cancer treatment is getting so close to being more affective using nano-particles.

Looks that way.
Thanks for looking it up. I don't think these guys are in any hurry to offload this asset. Looks like they likely inherited a substantial amount. They'll likely just sell it off over time.
I don't think they will dampen a SP climb when news comes out. As shown in the filing, they are selling small 100k chunks at intervals. They don't want to suppress the SP. They even managed to sell 100k+ in the 40s.
I think Steve and team have worn down the pitcher and the pitcher is about to through a nice fastball down the center of the plate with bases loaded. Grand slam!!!
These are likely three of the patents purchased. Looking through the details, these give QMC the rights to produce just about any nano particle. This is amazing reading if you can handle the dry scientific and legal wording.

That will put all the long investors at ease! That'll be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for many!
Hmmm! Coincidental or possible connection? Considering latest IP news.

And
So has anyone considered the fact that this deal has likely been in the works for months? Legal agreements aren't negotiated over night nor drafted. This announcement has to be made within 4 days if the final agreement. QMC has had the capability to produce most of the new IP. Now they can legally sell it.
There could be other agreements, quite likely, already being drafted and negotiated. We are just at a wait and see junction.
Looking forward to events that'll unravel throughout the rest of 2014.
Long!
Lol! 20 grams is a sample? That's enough to make about forty 60 inch LCD TVs. IMO, that was a sale even if it was at a reduced price. "Sample" was not the words used in the PR. That's your spin or opinion, not fact.
They announced a shipment in June. I'm sure the size that was shipped amounted to revenues. Secondly, SEC filing requirements do not require reporting on day to day operations. IMO, after they stated they were in production and shipping, they have no requirement to report additional shipments. Why do they want to report and disclose important information about their buyers if it's not required. They are so close to large scale production and the market is getting competitive. I would hold ever piece of non-required info internally to keep a competitive advantage.
It'll be a short lived link. It's to their subscriber area that apparently isn't working correctly at the moment and has public access.
Thanks for the note!
I'm sorry, I don't see the humor. From what I understand of the law, they have to file with the SEC when selling shares within two business days. There has been no filing stating such and the last form 4, all shares are present and accounted. If you have other documentation to prove otherwise, please educate the board on your knowledge. The last form 4 listed all owned shares by the individuals and the number matches exactly with the last 10q total plus additional shares added.
Nice post! That's an amazing plane and use of solar panels.
Actually, count up the shares awarded to management over the years and listed in last 10k/10qs. They haven't sold a share yet. I counted then using the last form 4 filing your talking about. Secondly, a fully reporting company has to be fully reporting which requires Form 4s for board members, at least according to the laws I have researched. Please provide links to the laws that say otherwise. Thank you, I would love to be educated.
Apparently, PE is having technical difficulties with their website today. I believe that was for subscribers only according to the links I clicked to get there. Enjoy the link while their site is broken. I'm sure it'll be gone tomorrow or sooner.
Officers have to file within two days of selling shares, I've seen no SEC filings of such transactions.
Additional link on PE website for QMC data from today.

Their publication is very interesting. I might buy it to research the market further while looking for future investments.
Yes, I'm very curious as to what was stated in their publication. I'm half tempted to pay the £100 to read it.
At the bottome of the article, Plastic Electronics had a exclusive interview with QMC and apparently discussed their plans for the patents. Anyone have a subscription to this publication?
Anyone catch this article which branches from today PR?

Unfortunately, we'll all have to wait on the 10K to read the details.
Cash? Hmm were did they get cash? Sales revenue from current reactor production? There is nothing that says a PR is required for normal business and sales of qdot is the normal business of QMC as of June.
I'm sure there were additional business deals likely involved in this transaction beyond cash, maybe contracts?
Nice find, Trevor. Thanks.
I like the acronym! Best one I've ever seen. That will officially be my new phase when speaking of QTMM from this day forward. "Have you heard of Quite The Money Maker company that makes quantum dots?"
JVs or contracts are the real key to SP launch. This news is great and definitely continues to set up QMC for a huge market penetration.
Another report that doesn't include QMC in the list of companies. This is like a horse race with the 20 to 1 horse surging to the front on the last leg.
Most investors have read the filings and know what debt instruments are involved with QMC. It's in black and white, and of course if they default as in any other company, good things will not transpire for the common stock shareholder. Is there anything unknown that you can contribute further?
Regarding private placement/ paper certificates, I'm told by another that had correspondence with Chris that QMC plans to have their shares in electronic format in October.
If QMC maintains the trend of PR releases every 2-3 weeks, we should see something this week or next at the latest. Can't wait to hear what's new with QMC. I'm also looking forward to the 10K in October.
