Actually he can sell at will and report after. Recheck the SEC regs, I have personal experience with this.
Ya saw Pete N on CNBC talking about a big buy around the same time. Can't recall exactly but I did get in at Mar31 $25 at $.35. Not the low of day but I like the value vs time.
Have a great weekend
Unfortunately the boat is taking on water. Can get cheaper shares easier next week, then the next and next...
On the calls, look at the Mar31 calls. Bid at $.37 might get you in with good time left and open interest. Considering buying the same. Which were you looking at?
Definitely been a bizarre week. I reset my hedge last week and that is playing well. Set to September 29 $130. GLD is on the move past few days.
It helps to sell when it does that to make money. Just a simple trading pointer. Later after the pop you can buy back in for the next pop. That is what the 5% does that trade for a living.
They must have a large in house inventory to protect.
Yep, it is obvious. Small trades at the last minute. When they withdraw their support this will drop hard.
Maybe so but feeling like it will come sooner. Either way patience is good. Still haven't written those calls so may be a good time.
And the reality is the pps is dropping so I couldn't care less about the BE data. Investor wealth drops daily with this great BE data so share a positive correlation between the two. Reality is difficult for those investors who don't see the forest from the trees.
Especially when the Bolinger bands point to buy.
"Bought some more at $0.145".
A sinking ship.
Not to worry. The Bolinger bands says it will be there again. My $0.00 avg share cost is with more each day.
That is funny. And each day the pps drops. Be happy it closed above $0.13 today. Send your thanks to the MMs. They didn't see the Bolinger bands I guess.
I am not really well versed on Herbalife but I know there are two big players fighting it out there (Ackman and Icahn). MLM companies always make me nervous due to the considerable reputation risk.
I actually liked BAC close today. Flat for a few days after a strong week is a good baseline fore future moves.
Looks like it is on standby for sure. Home sales helps. Profit taking from prior run seems to have dried up setting a new base. Janet will make or break it from here.
I do think they will signal stronger for another qtr pt. The market will turn if the signal is strong enough. Janet is itching to raise and the board has been hounding her since last year.
It proves you right to you. Easy to decide the winner of a debate with yourself. If others believed it the market value would increase. But the FACT is that it doesn't and the pps declines. Lonely it must be.
So holding all the way to the bottom is a better strategy? Sounds like Titanic's captain. My goal is to make money like I have from this stock and may again.
As lower is in the future then buying low would logically make an intelligent investor wait to buy. Buying now seems to defy your own logic. Just like not selling at $.97 and holding until today. The better strategy is to sell around $.97 then buy back now or later when the pps is cheaper. Then you would be able to double profit.
Ok fair enough. The rest of the investor base likes losing money also. Sounds like self defeating behavior though.
Seems the rest of the investor base disagrees with you. Your acquisition of shares don't provide sufficient support to maintain its current levels. The march down will continue along with holders net worth.
Not by me but the precipitous walk down has begun. The lack of MM support today was the indication. That was the only reason it is above $0.10 today.
I see $0.1351. Do you have a different number?
To me it is more to do with what you pointed out before on confidence. That keeps most buyers away (as evidenced in volumes) and provides no price support. That usually causes a larger drop but MMs are here keeping this up for their own reasons. It takes little money to do that at the current pps / volumes. The one day bump to even trade cost one MM only a few hundred dollars last week. Too easy.
That means $701 in net income will be the "record quarter" they PRd.
Depends on what the MMs want to do. It is clear they are in charge here. There isn't enough volume here to amount to a move without their consent. Watch for another of those last minute trades to close even.
I have been impressed with the rallies. Much stronger and earlier than I had thought but the volumes are supportive. Looking forward to my milestone of 100% ROI at $26.8 since week after brexit. Looking forward to GRPN doing the same soon. Great past 6 months!
Looks like a positive push. Looks like institutions are adding more to their portfolios after some profit taking. $25 by eow should be easy (should be key word). I am curious of the acceleration of trading revenue in this environment. Seems like a plus in the near future. But, barring any Trump or Janet words I see this week as mostly technical and portfolio rebalancing. The computers are in charge :)
Not sure if you noticed but the FDA isn't part of the mj equation. The prescriptions happen now. That is how you get a medical mj card...from a doctors prescription. Disrupters often come from alternative and/or non traditional directions. There are tons of examples of this if you think about it. Even in heavily regulated environment.
If that is what you took from my comments then I feel sorry for you.
The presumption that opioids are in a world of their own is the fallacy here. If a better alternative presented itself adoption could be quick. Also, the president has ADD. He could change his mind on a dime so I don't see that as important.
Fair. I would also like to see this succeed but time and the odds don't seem to be in their favor. It seems like end of year or next year at earliest for launch. Before that my guess is the pps will continue to walk down. The opportunity cost of locking up money here that long is too great. Seems wiser to come back later and buy in cheaper if the odds increase.
Wonder how the panels are doing in today's rain? Not sure if it impacts them. Mold might be an issue but that isn't my expertise.
Agreed. I only use mj as one example. There are many available and more to come. Just think it important to see the market from a broader perspective when investing. Unforeseen alternatives show up (disrupters) that change the subject very quickly. Blackberry, coleco, Sears, etc all used to be dominant players and probably didn't foresee their downfall or replacements (Apple, Xbox, Amazon and hundreds of others). Pharma and opioids are no different. Time has a strange way of changing the subject.
Also research shows a stat significant drop in opiod abuse in medical mj states. With lesser abuse there is lesser use. Therefore Sequestox will be used in a smaller market share of pain management. Nausea from chemo is a very minor reason why a medical mj card is given. There are hundreds of pain related reasons. The prescription card is very easy to get for just about any kind of ailment.
Not really. You do know they give medical mj cards already for pain? The other items you mentioned are already on the market. They just aren't part of the "approved" prescriptive world. That changes daily and with each election cycle. Not seeing this as a competitor is myopic at best. That is again a single source of competition. Many others (non mj) are in development that should be on the market in the next 5 years. Each will take a bite out of any valuation of an opiod based company.
Agreed and many are already in process. What do you think medical mj is used for? CBDs are localized. There are food products (much like taking with apple sauce?). Etc. Mj is only one example. Assuming opioids are alone in the world is an error and given all the problems they cause their replacement might be a better alternative. Instead we focus here on making them better rather than replacing.
The suggestion that it is addictive is propaganda. There are many forms now that don't include visions of greatful dead concerts. Pharma is designing different means of using the effective parts without the need to smoke and in many cases the euphoria. Several of those labs are here in my hometown in AZ and are making strides. They will soon be a major competitor to opioids.
There is agreement that the owners of the building want to insulate it. Given the summers here that is common sense. Growing is not proven in any way. How about details on the architectural drawings?
There is a growing movement of using mj for pain relief. The mj market grows daily and gets approved legislatively year by year. The research is beyond the common perception. The cost and simple fact it isn't addictive to start with will eat into this market very soon.
