SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2008) - Innovative Communications Technologies, Inc. GridNetworks: Comcast Invested in Us, Too
GridNetworks, a peer-to-peer television distribution company, has revealed that it has taken investment from Comcast Interactive Capital. The funding was part of a previously announced $9.5 million Series A round whose participants have trickled out over time.
Comcast isn’t GridNetworks’ only strategic investor; it also took money from Cisco. Neither deal comes with definite plans to work together on technology, emphasized GridNetworks CEO Tony Naughtin in an interview last week, reducing the certainty of what he previously told us about the relationship with Cisco (”They’re going to embed the GridCast client into edge devices in millions of households in the coming year-plus.”). For now the extent of working with Comcast, as it’s trumped up in the press release, is “collaboration with Comcast Corporation during NCTA Cable Show.” Of course, giants aren’t known for their quickness (or their willingness to disclose future plans).
Comcast also has public relationships with GridNetworks competitors Pando and BitTorrent, though those are more related to Net Neutrality.
Naughtin said that GridNetworks is close to prototyping its high-definition P2P delivery service with a television operator that’s smaller than Comcast.
Yes, that says alot we are on to him, I've towed the line long enough.
We need to move along with the management team that is in place now, anymore changes in personal will slow down reeltime.
The industry is heating up we just need our bigger deal(s) to be announced on their ticker and to get some coverge in the industry mags to get reeltime's name out there.
The question now is what is the delay, with my last conversation with Joe D. April it was right around the corner and here it is May and nothing.
Couple of other things I will say is thanks Barry for the education in pinky land stocks. I'm ready to graduate with my associate’s degree any time now.
There's a B-Movie to be made here too with quite a cast of characters and stories.
You guys talking about the weather?
I'm beginning to think you have a point there. I've been more than patient over the last months and still waiting to see the results of everyone’s hard work at reeltime.
Well now you see and you guys were worrird about marketing.
I don't subscribe to the MG reeltime, it takes technical people to run a company like reeltime.
Now more than ever I can see why he is gone.
Wit, more like double talk.
You'll know when I'm complimenting someone.
I'm saying your posts here can not be taken with a grain of salt as mine would be. To me anything you say concernig reeltime or Barry will influence this stock.
Why do you try and play this off, your not just a "regular" poster, for example, your comment that we may be surprised by this quarters financials, coming from you it says to me that they will be good. Coming from anyone else that would be a wait and see comment.
I would not lump yourself in with other posters, you being an insider/ex-insider(?), for the most part people can distinguish what the general poster is saying whether positive or negative.
Thanks for DD asus.
I heard from him in Feb. when he took offense to one of my posts, he certainly has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Barry.
Well call off your dogs and let this stock take off. j/k
I can't keep up with this board anymore, conspiracy theories and secret indentities.
I'm putting myself on double secret probation.
Get with the times, online petions happen all the time, if presented professionally this can make a difference.
.<font color=green> Petition: Beverly Zaslow be Appointed to the Board of Director at reeltime.com
Folks,
You maybe aware that Beverly is not on BOD of Reeltime. Early Dec last year, I sent out my request to JD/MC that Beverly should be on BOD. Today, almost five months later, I would like to follow up my petition and also need your reinforcement, my RLTR investors!
Beverly has been the one who contracted with all the content providers, making deals like Nelvana, Your Family Entertainment, Vanguard, and Enoki Films. Nelvana could be the base for ReelKids, Your Family opens the door to mobile distribution, Vanguard has what are maybe our best films, and Enoki opened the Anime floodgates, all from her trips to France. She went to CSS and signed up the MMA deal (Thanks to Rigtoni who made us the deal) for opening the floodgates to extreme sports and Ad-Supported method of revenue generation, AND she signed the Soyo deal, the biggest marketing opening the company has ever made. She knows people like Jerry Weintraub, the producer of top movies, and Mike Arietta, the guy who made us the Sony deal.
In addition, Beverly has been asked to speak at industry events, showing she is appreciated by the entertainment industry more than at ReelTime, like KidScreen, Digital Hollywood, and Cartoon Network
They "promoted" Bev to president and what happened? We never hear from her anymore. We were promised that she would be on the board of directors, but they appointed one without her on it at the same time as her "promotion." She puts up a blog post and they take it down the next day. She can't even get any quotes on the press releases anymore. Now it is Barry who is quoted for making these deals that he has nothing to do with, as far as we know.
I propose that we all sign this petition to ask the board to appoint her to the board of directors. She would still need two other votes to do anything, but at least she would be in the board meetings, and they would have to at least listen to her.
If you want to our business to grow, to succeed, if you want to a well-connected, the one with professional knowledge in the entertainment industry on our team, …., Please sign this petition.....
You are also encouraged to contact Barry, Joe and Mark to voice your support. Thank you!

I could go on, this is a long term investment. The ibox has good dd start with to.
Don't forget it's a two way street on this fourm, people won't buy the stock because people like you bashing the CEO on unfounded rumors or speculation on why the company is not moving as fast as they would like it.
BTW, I'm not mad just trying to keep the board balanced.
No kidding, the online rights to the 6,000 titles is worth what they paid. Throw out CinemaNow tech and replace with reeltime tech.
Good to know TK, lets hope those SOYO pamphlets cost a bundle.
Haven't talked to JD in a couple of weeks but when I asked about reelkids he did say we would uderstand why the site has been delayed. Can't wait to see who it is.
Please, reeltime site and delivrty platform passed their tests.
Sony has the market figured out, they have content distributed all over the world and on many platforms. To consider tiny reeltime to deliver their movies along with many major corps shows they have confidence in reeltime.
What it comes down to is we are just another outlet for them to sell movies.
So now, let me get this straight, now the Sony guy was lying when he said, "lets make some money together" on the CC when the deal was annouced?
Man you guys just like making shit up for sake of it.
I guess you have a 50/50 shot though, like the check bouncing, you can throw this crap out there and hope your right.
Your question "what is TIA" for some reason reminded me of something the Terminator would say. Nothing to get upset about.
Nice post TK, if more people took care of their investment the better off they would be.
Smooth, TIA is Thanks In Advance. Are you a robot?
Seems you are going about this backwards, maybe you should have put this question to them first. Then you could have enlightened us with your insightful DD.
If you're in contact with someone who is feeding you with info and acting as a mouth piece for that person please verify the info before posting please. TIA
Out of clams right now and .05 is chopped liver.
Get Reel and go get some.
Nice to see there is interest by a filmmaker already without any promotion of the site. To bad reeltime "investors" had to infest it with their comments.
Nice find.
Maybe it was to positive to be on the blog?
Sounds good, some of the old concerts to, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Alice Cooper.... the Clash, The Ramones, Joe Jackson would be cool.
Looks like reeltime put a couple of commercial type spots on the site in the last upload:
http://www.reeltime.com/TitleDetails.aspx?mediaID=8331
http://www.reeltime.com/TitleDetails.aspx?mediaID=8311
If you go to the promo site they have a reeltime logo on their links page.
http://www.h2oh.tv/links.htm
Thanks for the advice, a little late, I averaged down a couple of weeks ago.
Yea NateBasher I stuck my neck out, it was a calculated risk to change the sentiment of the board. The deal is close to being closed, so no matter when it gets announced doesn't matter to me, at least it's info something is happening.
Why don't you go through those pics again and see if there is some other exspense stuff Barry can get rid of. Keep up the good work.
