My IT guy at work has been helpful in helping the staff at reeltime isolate the problem and as such I have been privied to a little of what's going on. It's close to getting resolved. The last update I saw regarding the issue was yesterday, and with the problem mostly isolated, it's just a matter of time before it's fixed. To let you know how close it is to getting resolved, I haven't been able to watch a movie from Reeltime up at my office for many months. I would always get the "Server Error in '/' Application" error. Yesterday I watched a movie at my office with a special log in where they had sidestepped the problem. It's close, and they are on top of it.
Well, I guess I shouldn't have posted. Right as I was typing the first sell of the day went through.
I wonder if we are going to get ANY volume today on rltr or his sister. A little rare to have no volume on either at this time of day.
I was wondering how long it would take you to comment on that. LOL. Agreed!!
That's also interesting in that's Rhustang's little red man that he uses in his posts. I therefore would assume that this is Todd posting.
Rhustang - Do you know if Ben got me and my office IT's e-mails today? I brought this problem and error up to Ben in the middle of August and I think it was put on the back burner since then because it was low priority understandably. It's happening to more people though now, and hopefully we can find the solution. My IT guy wrote a very comprehensive e-mail with lots of screenshots and error messages and potential solutions and just hoping that Ben got it. Myself and my IT just replied to Ben's e-mails from mid-August. I'm hoping that the reply support e-mail hasn't changed and Ben is still getting these e-mails. Hopefully something my IT guy put together will help shed some light on the problem. Thanks as always for all you are doing! I don't want to start basically a thread on i-hub talking about this problem, so if Ben didn't get these e-mails I just need a support e-mail address so I can include the attachments.
I came up with 2.6 to be exact. :) NICE!
You've totally lost me now Techsource, as if you hadn't already. Your post isn't worth a reply to, but, for the record, you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Grid is installed fine. Has been for a loooong time. Unless you slander me in the future, I won't be replying to anymore of your posts.
This is the one I've been getting at work for a few months. My tech guy at the office thinks he might know what it is. If Ro or Sean has time tomorrow (Friday) he's going to talk to them and try and get it figured out. I see it's starting now to happen more often. My IT guy thinks it's a setting on the servers that's causing this to happen with some ISP's and connections.
The error is actually gotten before the player is ever started so it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the player. As soon as any movie title is clicked on to go to the next page where you can read about the movie and then log in to watch it, instead of the page coming up, the error message comes up. I can't stand not being able to waste time at the office watching movies. :|
Actually, it's not anti-virus. Ben, Sean and I have been working on this one for awhile. It only happens to me at work, but it happens everytime. My IT guy here at my office has been looking into it, and Sean or Ro and him are hopefully talking tomorrow. It's probaby a switch that needs to be thrown on the server for the site to cause it to react correctly in certain situations. It's been a weird bug. It's been slow to get figured out because it happens to so few people that it hasn't been made a priority. Go to virtually ANY other location dmxporbust and you will find that it works. If it doesn't, please report back. That info may be helpful.
It's not obvious. I called Michael about it and he's trying to get Ro to change this. Ro and others think it IS obvious.
Awesome Real. Thanks for posting!
Of course that's the question. If there was no question, none of us would even be here. The stock would be sky high already. I don't understand why you are stating the obvious other than trying to stir up fear and greed. What's the point?
.065 was even better. Hopefully we can end the day holding above .06.
Every day we get closer to ICTN's big announcement. From what I've gathered in talking to management, we probably are less than a week away. Two weeks at most. I hope everyone is locked and loaded. These prices in my opinion won't be around for much longer. I believe we are back to .08 very soon. We are a profitable company getting more profitable by the day. We are so undervalued where we are now. It's only a matter of time in my opinion. Step right up folks, place your bets. I'm all in! Been holding for around 6 years.
That would do just fine.
It would be fun to see us break .06 today. I'm not holding my breath, just sayin' it would be fun. :)
I don't think they should launch on a Friday. Glitches can occur, and better to have a few work days to work on them rather than ask employees to work over the weekend. Might be smart. I say launch on a Tuesday. Or tomorrow! :)
Once again, one car length ahead of me. :)
I'd like to get Reeltime subscriptions for all my family and friends for Christmas. I wonder if we can BUY some reelcash??
I hear ya loud and clear b-a!
I would be the guy buying 100k if I had the money, not selling. How did you extrapolate what you did out of my post? Are you feeling okay Tech? You seem to be yo-yo'ing all over the place from day to day. I'm all in. Fundamentals haven't changed. Greed and fear seem to be changing every hour for you. Get a grip. Ride the wave. As long as you have exercised good money management, then there is absolutely nothing to be worried about, and everything to be excited about!
Yah, it will be nice when $100,000 a day is more the norm and then some.
MWM, where are you? We've missed your presence. Rigatoni, I know you have another board, but how about posting over here again. We miss ya! Stockchick, are you still out there? Anybody else who hasn't posted in awhile, let's hear from you guys and gals.
It may only tell me that you are not attracting the answer because of the vibes you are sending out.
I don't understand your post at all Rtk. I obviously know we are not gridnetworks. What is the point your post is trying to make?
The point of my post is that the more locations that the Gridplayer is installed, potentially the better efficiency for all. I like the statement that they are working on embedding the client software into network and consumer devices. This to me I believe would make it that much easier for people to become comfortable with the idea of utilizing p2p.
Good question. Can you ask Michael today and report back?
Excellent find An_OX!! I would like to highlight the following also from the article...
'The company is currently executing a strategy that provides GridCasting service directly to media and entertainment companies, embeds its client software into network and consumer devices, and integrates its technology into carrier and cable operators' networks.'
I was confused too by Jerseyboy73's post #22947. No, the new site is not up. I don't know why he posted what he did.
One of these days Tyee, one of these days. POW, right in the PPS!! :)
ROTFLMAO :)
Wow, where the heck did you come up with this post Tech? I guess I can understand being down a little on our stock right now, but either you are being sarcastic, or you should really lighten up a bit. If for no other reason just for your health and mental state. I'm sure Beverly doesn't see it this way. I know myself and many others don't see it this way.
Unfortunately, it may just be the 2nd wave of investors who really make out good with this stock. Often the first wave invests more on emotion and can't hold past their self 'inflicted' time horizon. Fundamentals haven't changed. Movie Link is a very different model than us, albeit on the surface in some ways it is similar.
Excellent post Angel! Thanks. I don't think too many read to the bottom of your post to read what you wrote under 'Dr. Phil'.
I think we all just want to feel that we've launched and see the word 'Beta' off the site. That's what is making the wait harder. It's hard to imagine any event or timeline in the future having more importance psychologically for all of us than just getting out of the gate and being a going concern. Some might argue we already are out of the gate, but until the 'Beta' comes off, I don't think we are.
I just want to get the new site launched and see the 'Beta' off and then I think a lot of us will rest easier. I know it's not the same thing, but I opened a restaurant many years ago and one thing I learned. There is no such thing as being completely ready to open for business. You just have to do it and then make small adjustments from there. If you wait, you will always find another thing that needs to be done and will put off the opening another week. Again, I know that the analogy is not very good because customers at a local restaurant are much more forgiving that a website visitor, but nonetheless, I think Barry, Bev and Ro should just pick a date and GO WITH IT! It will be a great psychological boost to so many people, both investors and company employees alike. Okay, that's all I wanted to say. See everyone next week.
I'll 2nd that. :)
I will be doing that if I feel the need. Stay tuned.
Awesome, a seller! We're making some headway.
You're welcome. And good morning to you too! :) It's a beautiful day here just north of Seattle. Our company will be hard at work today helping to move us in the right direction.
