Posted this yesterday. News a day old.
Over the last two days, shares of Voxeljet (VJET – NASDAQ) have been hit with negative news from other competing 3D printing firms. Yesterday, it was a warning from SSYS that took it lower. And today, a similar warnings from ExOne (XONE – NASDAQ), who cut their 2013 revenue expectations to $40M to $42M from $48M. As a result, VJET has now dipped below the 50-day MA.
My VJET Calls are up right now.

Picked up 10 contracts VJET Feb 45 Calls @ 3.30
Putting my money where my mouth is.
Guys, this is all speculation on my part.
Another example. A stock that goes down because another stock in the same sector crashes because of earnings or guidance. I'm talking about VJET.

On top of all this, we have someone else in our corner. It’s highly speculated on Wall Street that this is the next name (HTZ) Carl Icahn has selected to invest in. We’ve seen what he can do in the past; if and when Icahn formally announces he is invested in HTZ, the stock will absolutely soar.
Picked up Hertz HTZ March 28 Calls @ 1.30. 10 contracts.
My CHK March 26 Calls @ .91 holding green.
More on Hertz:
Rental car giant Hertz Global (HTZ – NYSE). There has been all kinds of unusual options activity in this name for some time now, the most recent of which was a giant risk reversal that traded last Friday. A customer bought 11,500 June 30 calls, and simultaneously sold 11,500 June 26 puts. This is an incredibly bullish trade.
You see, HTZ was downgraded this morning. In reaction to this, the stock opened lower, but immediately reversed and went higher. A stock that doesn’t sell off on bad news is a stock we want to be long.
Excellent trades! congrats
First trade for me of the year a LEAP into March.
CHK 26 Calls @ .91 10 contracts.
Got it...
lululemon athletica inc. Updates Guidance for Fourth Quarter of Fiscal 2013 Ahead of Presentation at ICR XChange. Business Wire

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
lululemon athletica inc. [NASDAQ:LULU] today announced that the Company is updating its net revenue and earnings guidance for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013 ending February 2, 2014.
For the fourth quarter, the Company now anticipates that net revenue will be in the range of $513 million to $518 million based on comparable-store sales in the negative low-to-mid single digits on a constant-dollar basis. This compares to the Company's previous guidance of net revenue in the range of $535 million to $540 million for the fourth quarter based on flat comparable-store sales on a constant-dollar basis. The Company also now expects diluted earnings per share will be in the range of $0.71 to $0.73 for the quarter. The previous EPS guidance for the fourth quarter was a range of $0.78 to $0.80. EPS guidance continues to assume 146.0 million diluted weighted-average shares outstanding and a 30.0% tax rate.
John Currie, lululemon’s CFO stated: "We were on track to deliver on our sales and earnings guidance through the month of December; however, since the beginning of January, we have seen traffic and sales trends decelerate meaningfully. Based on this recent performance and assuming these trends continue through the remainder of January, we are reducing our outlook for the fourth quarter." Mr. Currie continued: "As we end 2013, we are starting to see the results of the significant investments we made throughout this past year to strengthen and enhance our back-of-house product operations structure. While we realize that it will require continued investment and time to get to best-in-class status, with our new leadership in place we are very focused on building on this stronger foundation to execute our long-term growth strategies."
Management will be meeting with analysts and investors and presenting at the ICR XChange Conference in Orlando, Florida this week. See the Company's separate press release for webcast information.
Hey DEE! lets make some money!
Chesapeake possible LEAPS going out until March. Patience.
CHK is currently trading for $25.68 with 648.18 million shares outstanding, yielding a market cap of $17.27 billion. Revenue for the past 12 months was $16.50 billion, and quarterly revenue growth was 63.90% year-over-year.
Gross profit was $2.73 billion and earnings per share was $1.36. And earnings actually slipped year over year, as the company shifted management teams. But all that drama is done now. Rebound?
LULU any idea why it's down $7.50 premarket?
Had a nice day on Friday. Possible reload?

Running out of choices. An indoor team playing an outdoor team, Atlanta on a slide. I'll have to take Buffalo. Thank John.

Baltimore, Thanks
Hey John, a sincere thanks for running this board for many years!
New England this week.
Thanks
Let down week for Indy. Coming back from 18 points down against Houston last week & bouncing back this week could be tough.
Even though they might not cover the spread I believe they should have enough in the tank to win the game.
Not confident but going with Indy @ home.
Good luck guys!!!!
Consider last week when most jumped on Dallas.
The pool almost shrank 80%. Cowboys got lucky with the win.
I went with this write up:
If this game was in the Georgia Dome, I may sing a little different tune, but on the road, I think Atlanta lays yet another egg and gets dominated. Not only does my gut tell me to roll with Carolina, but 68% of the money is on Atlanta….LOL. C’mon. Panthers win this thing 34-16. PICK: THE CAROLINA PANTHERS -7
The line went up to -8 now. Late money on Carolina.
We'll see what happens.
I'll separate myself from the crowd & go with Carolina @ home.
Good luck guys!
Dallas simply can't stop any team from gaining huge yards through the air. The Cowboys's pass defense will make any quarterback look like a future Hall of Fame player. Dallas is allowing 315 passing yards per game compared to 289 for the Vikings. Minnesota will enter this contest with better overall defense, but not by much. The Cowboys are allowing 107 yards rushing yards per game and will now face one of the best at his position. The Vikings game plan will be to feed A.P. early and often in hopes of wearing down the Cowboy's light defense in the second half. Minnesota has had a lot of success against Dallas going 7-1 SU and 7-1 ATS in the last eight head-to-head meetings.
