The only real milestone is the full aproval, maybe they are simply waiting on that.
I think its hilarious watching investors like Cato. I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh at people that loose money and then get ticked off at their investments. Trading definately isn't for those who can't keep their money and emotions separate.
Advise: Cut your losses and leave, you obviously have no faith in the company.,.no point in sticking around.
I, on the other hand, still believe in the product and think it will sell well over the next 1-3 years.
How do we know it didn't? It wouldn't be a material event and probably wouldn't deem a PR. Please look at a previous post of mine, we should hear something in regards to the SFDA process by the end of September at the latest.
New,
"Calypte has provided Kenya, through the National AIDS and STD Control Program (NASCOP) of the Ministry of Health, 10,000 Aware(R) HIV-1/2 OMT (oral fluid) rapid tests which will be available to the public" is used in the PR today. It is confusing as to whether these tests have been used or not. The wording and stories contradict eachother. I'm not worried either way.
what did you mean by this post? Sorry, just wanted your thought. According to the site it was written in middle June.
I understand that, I'm fine with the Dec. 1st rollout. Looking forward to other countries setting up like arrangements.
okay, that has nothing to do with what I was talking to Cato about.
Why don't you call Calypte's IR people and ask someone that might actually know?
I didn't promise anything. I just repeated what I was told. Don't hold me to a promise I didn't make. Like I said, call them yourself and ask.
Was just about to post the same thing.
Talk about a _ _ _ ked up country.
What deal with the CDC? Did I miss something?
Interesting:
9/07 - 0.63 12/07 - 1.56 Full Year 07' - 2.70
Doesn't seem to buy into Gale's own projections.
They must not have a certain date set yet. It was from the IR guy at CEOCAST. I simply sent an email inquiring about whether there would be a Conference call to recap 2nd qtr financials and to give an update. He said there would be one in 2 or 3 weeks, but NOT to go over 2nd quarter results.
Calypte will be holding a conference call in the next 2 or 3 weeks. It will not be a recap of 2nd quarter financials, but will be in regards to current/upcoming events for the company.
Based on the 2nd quarters Revenue, its safe to assume Mineseeker didn't come through with their million tests in 12 months (or even close). I didn't see any mention of a Conference Call, wonder if they are skipping it this quarter.
I agree, that's what I got out of it. If given the choice, I would think most people would choose to save the 2 dollars when comparing Apples to Apples.
Link?
Wonder which one sells at 5 and which one sells at 3.
Yes Cen, .01 = 1%. It would total 99.81 %. Not a big deal.
Blood - the article stated that two of the tests gave invalid results, which to me means they were wrong and not just inconclusive.
Should get an announcement soon regarding the release of the 2nd qtr results.
Actually its .2%(you have to move the decimal), so it would be somewhere around 99.8%, which makes sense. I just thought they would use that percent and not 100% (makes it seem like there were no mistakes)
Two oral fluid samples that were tested gave invalid results.
The AWARETM OMT assay demonstrated sensitivity and specificity of 100%.
Doesn't this contradict eachother? Did they simply round up to 100%?
This is the real key:
Compared to blood, the use of oral fluid resulted in about a 40% reduction in the cost of testing an individual.
What number are you looking for? I'm hoping for a $1 mil plus, anything less than that and I'll be disappointed.
Strange, you seems so worked up over this...yet I have yet to hear you call in during a conference call and ask for an update regarding the Mineseeker order. Y? Please do so in Mid August, thanks.
You obviously don't understand due dilligence. Its about connecting dots and putting the lines together, looking at possibilites for revenue/growth, and researching the market or potential markets the Company is in. Thanks C for your posts, I appreciate them.
I'm sure they don't buy a stock based on a 30 minute presentation. If they were interested at all, they will do a detailed, lengthy due dilligence procedure I'm sure. It will be hard to tell the benefits of such a conference. It does get there name out there though.
When I'm 61, I hope to be traveling the World with the woman I still love and seeing everything Life has to offer me.
You on the other hand, at 61, perfer to obsess over a company that you have no vested interest in.
Why can't you move on??? I would like a serious answer. You'll be dead soon enough, does Calypte really matter that much to you?
Sorry to make a debate personal, but you are the most ridiculous person I have ever met.
The 40 days start once they have received the final documents, which don't have to be given until 60 days after May 10th. Not sure how you come up with end of July or August. It obviously could come at any point though or never.
"We are optimistic and are planning on a marketing launch based around approval during the first quarter of 2007."
They obviously mis-judged that one considering it is already the 3rd Qtr and no Approval. I think we are all used to that by now.
Here is the "scheduled" process:
· Once we submit any requested materials to the CDE, they have 30 working days to process the supplemental materials and make a decision (accept, reject, request additional info, or schedule for later review)
-They submitted this around May 10th. 30 days out would be about June 21st.
· If our application is approved, the CDE has 30 working days to prepare documents and submit the packet to the SFDA for final approval.
-So they then have until Aug. 2nd to submit the packet for final approval. (This is where I believe we are currently at)
· The SFDA can then take up to 40 working days (about 2 months) to issue its final approval to us.
- If they take the full 40 days, this would leave us around the end of September.
I did read it and I surely didn't conclude anything about sales continuing to the Mineseeker Foundation. Calypte is definately not a company where you can simply connect dots that may or may not be coincidences.
Cato, I have asked about Mineseeker twice - absolutely nothing in response. I find that strange. On the bright side it is still listed in the Sole of Africa's website:
http://www.thesoleofafricablog.org/2006/09/
I would assume that if the partnership completely dissolved the News would be removed.
Regarding?????
If you wouldn't mind posting the email, it would be appreciated. They won't say much if anything.
There will be a taped (I'm assuming only audio) recording of this Investor Conference. I hope to hear something new, but definitely not expecting anything but the same old blabber. At this point I don't care about anything besides Sales/Revenue.
You question implies that I don't care. Your logic doesn't follow.
yaaaaawn, same stuff buddy. Why do you care again?

Wow the interest is swarming around this company. The volume has been huge lately!
We have been invited to speak and will be making a formal presentation at CapStone Investment’s inaugural Small-Cap Investor Conference on July 16th and 17th in Milwaukee, WI.
I will be down in Brew City the 12th and 13th - Looks like I'll just miss it, shucks. Are these typically open to the public?
Didn't the constitution also state that slaves were constitutionally protected property.
Yes, thank goodness for the constitution.
A democratically elected government would be ideal.
Sometimes individual rights need to take a second seat to what will benefit the world at large. Personally I would want to know and thats why I said for the most part it would also benefit the individual.
