This from Oct 18th PR
"Further, Mr. Slaton said: "I couldn't be more excited about the various business opportunities which we are developing and others that are in the final stages of implementation. I very much look forward to sharing details of these ventures with the investment community in the coming weeks."
It has just now been two weeks and so the plurality of the word "weeks" should come into play. Since he did not say "months" then that statement means to me somewhere between 2 and 8 weeks (from 10/18) we will get an update on that deal. They are not pumping out PRs for the sake of fluffing up the daily volume so if that's what folks want, they may be in the wrong stock. all IMO
Sometimes when I forget about the qualifications of management, I go back and read this old but relevant PR ..

Hope all is well and that you flippers are making money. Hold us at .06 or higher if you don't mind. Us working folks can't help too much in the day-to-day arena.
glta
looks like a little dab was all it took .. lol..eom
I think that was already done .. lol.
We are waiting for some update on their multi-hospital deal (9) as it unfolds (the stated they would reveal more as it unfolds). Seems that something should be happening there and it would be nice to be reassured about that. The company is good about not pumping out fluff PRs and I hope it stays that way. If they do, that is when we should start watching the share count. At this time, it seems they have the revenues they need to continue business with no pain to the shareholders.
Agree CoolD, hopefully that is on their short list of things to do within the next 2 quarters.
looks real good here. I am cautiously optimistic that this one will be a nice stock to own through 2008.
back from vacation and I like what I see ... maybe I need to leave again for a few more days!
wooo hoooo, 500 shares shoots us up 11% !!! Will be checking back next Tuesday .. keep the tires inflated.
thanks anyway! glty ..eom
nevermind my question on last post, just looked back.. eom
TDA showing new symbol without name on Streamer but not on the "positions" page. I have called before on a name change from a previous stock I owned and it takes a few days. When they receive the new shares, they will change the name officially on the positions page. My guess is we will see it Monday or Tuesday.
BTW, when did they change the symbol. I am on vacation and just checked in briefly. Did not see a PR about it on my Yahoo news page and I was only checking there through this week to see if anything was happening. Anyway, going to DC tomorrow so won't be back until Tuesday. Hope things are worked out then. gl to all in the next few months. rags
yep, hope it works out for us.
At least we know they aren't diluting. I am still curious about the relationship of Borque to the company, other than being a Board Member. Seems he had some ideas of his own for getting an engine into the market. Maybe a merger of ideas is taking place and both parties will benefit (as well as shareholders!).
FYI - http://www.newsteamengine.com/index.html
Wonder if the new board member will be bringing some of his ideas into Cyclone's tech? There must be some fusion of ideas going on IMO.
Read this: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070912/new115.html?.v=10
OS is expected to stay the same for a time but they do intend to have the additional shares ready for launch should an acquisition target or other business opportunity become available.
The company has completed their merge into a shell and is undergoing a name and cuspid change. Their new AS count is now 250MM as you note. Expect this change anytime but just don't lose sleep over it as the SEC is moving kind of slow in completing this task.
Thanks for the post invest, it is very helpful.. eom
CYPW - Cyclone Power Technologies Adds Los Alamos Nuclear Engineer to Advisory Board, Tuesday October 9, 7:00 am ET
POMPANO BEACH, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 9, 2007 -- Cyclone Power Technologies Inc. (Other OTC:CYPW.PK - News) announced today that Robert F. Bourque, Ph.D., P.E., a senior engineering safety officer from Los Alamos National Laboratory, has joined the company's Board of Advisors.
Dr. Bourque has served at Los Alamos National Laboratory since 1998 in the critical positions of Pressure Safety Officer, Explosives Safety Officer and Aviation Safety Officer, responsible for overseeing pressure safety for the entire Laboratory. Prior to this, Dr. Bourque worked for 25 years at General Atomics, one of the world's foremost nuclear research and development companies and government contractors. At General Atomics, Dr. Bourque served as Lead Engineer for Superconducting Accelerator Engineering, and the ITER Cryostat and Cryogenic Thermal Shield Design, and as a Principal Engineer for the Fusion Group.
Dr. Bourque's expertise ranges over many aspects of mechanical engineering, thermodynamics and heat transfer, pressurized systems, external combustion engines, cryogenic and vacuum systems, integrated engineering analysis, nuclear fusion and fission reactors, alternate energy systems, superconducting linear accelerators, and nuclear weapon effects. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering, an M.S. in mechanical engineering, and has over 40 technical publications and four U.S. patents to his name, including one for an external combustion engine with combustion air preheating.
"Robert's experience and knowledge will be invaluable in helping us evaluate, test and improve our Cyclone engine," stated the company's CEO, Harry Schoell. "We're honored to have distinguished and respected engineers like Robert help validate our technology."
CORPORATE PROFILE
Cyclone holds the U.S. patent, international patent applications, and exclusive commercial rights to the Green Revolution Engine(TM) an environmentally friendly and highly efficient external combustion, heat-regenerative engine. Developed by Cyclone's President and CEO, Harry Schoell, the Cyclone engine regenerates (or recycles) its heat, which allows it to run cleaner, cooler and more efficiently than traditional internal combustion engines. The Green Revolution Engine is capable of running on any liquid or gaseous fuel, including ethanol, bio-diesel and propane. The company also recently filed a patent application for its Waste Heat Engine, a low-pressure engine capable of running on heat emitted from external sources, including the waste exhaust of a power generator or renewable solar power. Both these engines are lubricated with de-ionized water instead of motor oil, and by eliminating many subsystems like oil pumps, radiators, catalytic converters and fuel injectors, the Cyclone engines are expected to cost less to manufacture, operate and maintain. The Green Revolution Engine in particular is highly scalable and sufficiently powerful for applications ranging from lawn equipment and small home generators, large stand-alone generators, to cars, trucks, buses, RV's, boats and ships, as well as earth moving equipment and locomotives.

OT - good job penny, good to see you made it alive!
But then we should still assume that the company has them and they are useable for financing arrangements, etc., no?
Wasn't sure since TA had not updated AS count.
Maybe the merge is about complete and we will see something early next week. I don't count on that but it may be behind today's move.
If it was an AON, they tend to get pushed around... eom
That's the way I saw it too ... eom
Nothing new ... Thought I would post this link concerning possible military uses of the GRE just to keep the board alive.
http://www.adventflorida.com/military_advantages.htm
Didn't you know that all pink sheet stocks are mostly owned by the folks on each stock's iHub MB .. If you don't believe me, just go to any MB and ask .. LOL
sounds like we need scuba gear .. eom
Has anyone seen any transactions today with this stock? If so, would you mind providing an update? Ameritrade shows nothing.
thanks
I agree with jerseyboy but would add the one cause for your confusion may be that, in some venues, the OTCBB is sometimes errantly lumped with the Nasdaq as a small company extension of the bigger exchange. There is no connection but I have seen it fused many times in discussions, even by the companies.
Link to Michigan State's Automotive Emission Research information - this article related to small engines:
http://www.egr.msu.edu/erl/Small%20Engine%20Emissions.html
Read the 2nd paragraph as compared to auto emissions ... looks like when looking at the total actual emissions that small engines are contributing over twice as much if you balance out the amount of time that cars operate versus the factor of emissions coming from the small engines.
Certainly a welcomed addition to the Board of Advisors by any measure IMO.

Don't say that, I hate these self-fulfilling prophesies.
Funny, I did some precursory DD and picked up 10K at .034 (AON) and they haven't printed that (at least it isn't showing up on Ameritrade's Streamer). Groundup, hope I will be thanking you for this one (I won't think badly if it reverses). It just looked like a good risk\reward scenario at that price.
Thanks Groundup.
Yeah, I thought I was doing good getting shares @.27 .. oh well, if they don't dilute a heck of a lot I will hang on for a while. Maybe their pinksheet filing will not be too discouraging. They give their patents quite a bit of value in previous filings so I hope they are right. I am an environmentalist and feel this is a good thing if they get it going. Small engines pollute like the dickens and if they can just get into that market and be successful, I think the greenies will buy them up. Lower noise levels are appealing as well.
We did get my daughter through college but she is thinking about Med School on top of that too. Didn't save up for that. Plus, we may have a wedding to pay for in a year or two so it would be nice to hit on a pinkie that is for real. Only time I wish I didn't have a daughter .. LOL. She's been the best kid I could have ever hoped for. Played sports all through her life and gave her dad a thrill.
