Dude you need to re-read the post. I never said I thought JN or SLTD should try to become the manufacturer for the cell. We all know this is not the way to go nor do we have the capital to even consider such a venture.
Oh ok then game over...NOT!
I agree and we need and Elon Musk type to go ALL-IN and build a Solar3D panel Gigafactory from scratch knowing what the future potential payoff would be from such a disruptive game changer.
Exactly! I saw the HVAC/Plumbing company consolidators start snapping up companies about 15 years ago all over the country thinking they could keep all these businesses going after letting the owners take buyouts and retire. The only winners to speak of were the owners who got stupid money given to them then the consolidators could not run all the work profitably then the customers flocked elsewhere. JN is a very smart man and he knows that he needs the management teams to continue after acquiring them. Plus he seems to be searching for the younger up and coming growth companies and not the ones who have elder near retirement management teams. I love this guy!

My DD has never turned up a Steve in his close family
Very envious of you getting to rub elbows with JN and I am happy to see he is chasing the possible institutional funds and feels he has a big enough story and draw even without the cell! Thanks again for what you bring to the table here because this is exactly what will help drive PPS up!

This was like fertilizer as we just turned GREEN
Raz,
Thank you!!! I feel like I was right there with you. I think you have nailed it. To the moon this company will go with our JN regardless of the cell. Never imagined he would have made that flight just for the small group in a private room in restaurant with just 30 folks who could have been from all walks of life and just hungry for a free Italian dinner.
Long $LTD!!
This is not a stock for the weary that's for sure!

Why is it so quiet here lately? Did several bail after they became green again? Seems unusually quiet especially with all the forward momentum.
I just sent and received reply from Ray at Bear Creek Capital in Orlando about the dinner meeting tonight.
Ray,
Is the meeting this evening at Antonio’s Restaurant open to private investors/shareholders to attend and who from Solar3D will be presenting?
Ray replied..
Yes to both and the CEO. Please have them register
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note® II
JN is a long way from home today and surely this is not his only business in FL as this firm seems to be VERY SMALL and website not too impressive IMO. Will be interested to hear from Raz after he rubs elbows with GOD!
Hey Raznic what was the process for getting accepted to attend the meeting tonight in FL? Can any individual private investor go? I may fly down myself. Look forward to hearing back.
Thank you! I will be anxious to hear his take on the whole deal and know who attended.
I would think that anyone attending this meeting may have strict confidentiality agreements to sign binding them to keep quiet the non public information disclosed that is not ready for the street but ready for the VC investment ears? Is someone here actually getting into this meeting? Sorry if I missed that earlier. I am doubting just anyone can get in regardless of fee paid short of being vetted? Enlighten me please. TIA
Ok then I expect you will sell on the ER news then the 2nd news flash hits of a manufacturing partner for the cell before the bell the next day and NOBODY will sell you cheap shares to get back in. I predict being greedy here will be worth the risks for the next year JMHO
Please don't tell Dave what I just did with my Emergency Fund today.
1.94 with 6 digits of shares The next 24 months I will eat Ramen if necessary.
Live like no one else, so later on you can live like no one else!!
Fully loaded now!
GLTA
you nailed it!
The problem is it will blow past $5.50 and he will see all the green and stay in just like Tim did the last time we had a spike yet he is still here being negative...
I suggest folks step up today and make sure this closes above $3.50 today just to make certain we trigger the short squeeze action to follow. Tomorrow should be interesting if the shorts start covering
Your welcome and this will get me back over 6 digits in share count.
GLTA
someone needs to take my 5200 @ 3.41
I just did my part in the last 10 minutes! Rice and beans for a while LOL!
I bet I could guess the names of the 2 holding out LOL!

Marketwired
Company to Provide Rancho Mirage Public Library With a Complex Solar System
March 19, 2015: 06:00 AM ET
Solar3D, Inc. (NASDAQ: SLTD), a leading provider of solar power solutions and the developer of a proprietary high efficiency solar cell, today announced that its MD Energy subsidiary has secured a $2.4 million contract from the Rancho Mirage Public Library to install a complex solar system designed to protect against rising electric utility costs.
Located in Southern California, the Rancho Mirage Public Library sought to implement a solar program that would reduce dependency on local utility providers while ultimately resulting in long-term cost savings. In the near term, MD Energy expects to finalize the design for the project, complete the construction documents and undertake the permitting phase of construction.
"This transaction is a direct result of our reputation for providing stellar customer service throughout the entire Southern California region," said Danny Mitchell, CEO of MD Energy. "Municipalities and other commercial entities depend on our team of experienced solar professionals to design and install solar systems that best fit their long-term needs. We are proud to work directly with the City of Rancho Mirage to develop a system that will provide long-term cost savings while setting a positive example of energy sustainability within the community."
"MD Energy's recent agreement with Rancho Mirage is a prime example of why we were so enthusiastic about acquiring this company and making it part of our rapidly growing Solar3D organization," said Jim Nelson, CEO of Solar3D. "This specific transaction is a good example of why MD Energy fit the criteria for our growth-by-acquisition strategy. They are committed to our 'Solar 2.0' model that provides the cost-efficient flexibility that commercial and residential property owners seek when choosing to go solar. This is a key reason why we expect all of our operating subsidiaries to continue attracting substantially more customers, which will drive our future revenues."

I do not buy on margin so not sure what this really means but Etrade just notified me that they just changed the margin maintenance requirement for SLTD from 25% to 70%. Would someone enlighten me as to what they are telling us?
Going to need some extensions for the periscope
Yes exactly and let's not confuse "The Street" and 'I-Hub" as one of the same. I have heard of this guy too on "The Street" and he is shirt tail relation to Warren Buffet as I recall..
Maybe you could send JN an email and encourage him to tweet something good tomorrow.
MW Tesla up nearly 4% after Elon Musk's tweet
Mar 16, 2015 15:05:00 (ET)
Shares of Tesla Motors Inc. Tesla stock is down 3.9% so far in March, and down 15% in the past 12 months.
"We estimate that our patent-pending 3-dimensional cell can produce 200% of the power output of conventional solar cells. This will reduce the investment payback period of solar panel systems by more than 40%"
Exactly! Thanks for pointing this out. 50 MPG don't mean squat when the car is sitting in the driveway shut off! LOL
Yes it sounds like a few of us in the same boat here with close to the same amount of shares and hope. I did this for me not necessarily my kids I feel like the 3 year waiting game just started all over again but at least I know this time it is more real and tangible being on the Nasdaq. I invested in this company for a lottery payout and that is why I am still all in even though I am green way over 6 digits. This is a pick of a lifetime IMHO and even though I am a bit jaded since the uplist I am very happy about the future outlook of this company and the management style of JN. I do think he will lead us all to the promised land.
Long SLTD$$$
After the bell..that will cost you a fortune in fees
