I'm gonna call Kelly from Acorn Management tomorrow and see if I can dig up some new information for us fellas. Any questions you feel I should ask?
I agree 100%. From a pps standpoint I would hope that a update on our combination strategy comes shortly and then we announce other milestones achieved cause if the strategy is our last milestone achieved and announced I do believe that our pps will be affected greatly by that. In a negative way.
Yes sir!
Here I will do the DD for you. Directly from IR.
Below is a list of upcoming clinical milestones planned for 2014:
1. Phase I Melanoma study long term survival data
2. Phase II Merkel Cell Study Data
3. Melanoma Combination Study Strategy
4. Initiation of new Phase I/II Clinical Study in non-skin cancer indication
5. Final Data of Phase II Melanoma Clinical Study
What are you talking about negative wagon? Can you read? OncoSec has stated they have several catalysts that they will meet in 2014? We are in September so with 5 catalysts remaining according to OncoSec that is averaging more than one a month. OncoSec is running out of time according to there own timeline. Nothing negative about my comments!
We are running out of time and with so many catalysts still remaining I think the market is really just waiting for some kind of news. One question I have though is OncoSec has stated that they plan on giving an update on there phase IIb trial this year. With that said will they announce the partnership and the initiation of the trial all at the same time or will they announce there partnership first then simply state there trial will initiate shortly thereafter. If they choose to give an update with all info at the same time I fear we could be waiting a couple more months.
Really? How do you not see the conflict. The two people running your show are married. I doubt one will refute the other. It's just bad business guys. Hello! C'mon please. Look I'm bullish on this stock but one thing I don't do is make everything out to be great news. This isn't good news. It looks bad period fellas. Dam c'mon!
I just want to make my money and get out. Way to many questionable decisions in my opinion. How is this not a conflict of interest. Maybe I don't understand the hierarchy of authority in a biotech company but this just doesn't sound right to me.
OncoSec has a real problem with transparency. There favorite phrase in IR is "it is not company policy to comment on that." Now one of the many roles of a CEO of a publicly traded company is to maintain compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission rules and regulations, manage the company to profitability and maintain the stock price as well as create shareholder value. Also the CEO is the public face of the company and its primary leader, with responsibility to safeguard the interests of the shareholders. Now how would you grade Punit? This is why I have problems with Punit going on twitter and posting stupid sh*t. My personal feeling is that OncoSec doesn't yet value there shareholders as they should.
Of course bro! He's the man! He has a proven track record for success! I love that guy.
No its more like 60. Why do you continue to post on this forum if you no longer own shares? Hmm? I wonder?
No Jordyn has been there since June. Look at some of my prior posts weeks back I don't have the time to rehash it all. But she will be working out of New York.
I finally have some powder freed up so bring on the .30's.
Confidence isn't the issue. Knowledge of subject matter I feel is. Dr. Pierce and Tu Diep have more knowledge and the education and background to present on clinical studies.
Also if he freezes up in front of people why is he out there? As the CEO you have to do whats best for your company. Is he?
No I can't agree with you money. But it's ok we are allowed our own opinions. When I started out with my company I had to go through an 8 week training period on how to acquire clients. In those 8 weeks I realized one thing if you know what you are talking about then it just becomes natural.
It's not a lack of enthusiasm but instead a lack of knowledge on the subject matter he is speaking about. I have an idea Punit before you speak at a conference go through your powerpoint presentation a few times. Numerous times from what it seemed to me he was unaware of the slide and what was on it. Once again I will say he shouldn't be presenting an overview of the company in regards to progress made in the clinical studies. The science is driving this ship and will continue. We have great minds on board and I believe that it has everything to do with the science.
I think Punit should be banned from speaking at these conferences. Dam this guy is way out of his league. He doesn't know enough about the subject to get up there and speak on it. My opinion of course. I'm not saying OncoSec won't be successful.
I think he has to shed some light on phase IIb trial. They have stated they are on target to hit all milestones laid out for 2014. With 3.5 months left how do you not know your plan of action for phase IIb. Yes he might not be able to go out and specifically say this is who we are partnering with but I can read thru the lines. I think we will find out a good bit of information that we have not heard of or about.
I would take a squeeze this afternoon. Who's up for a squeeze?
80850 BKMM .60
45000 CDEL .60
After that sky is blue however Level II for OTC exchange is not required to show all bids/asks so who really knows
No they engaged with Acorn in February. Then disengaged at end of June for there evaluation period. According to Acorn they now have re-engaged as of Sept. 1. OncoSec signed on for a year according to Kelly from Acorn. Acorn's method for promoting the company is by going to there network of financial advisers, institutions, and small funds. They try to build a strong shareholder base by passing the word onto the professionals. They want long-term shareholders not traders looking to make a quick buck.
Yea going at it alone is not an option from where we stand now. We don't have enough cash on the balance sheet for it all. So if a strategy of going at it alone does transpire expect immediate dilution. An a lot of unhappy investors. I really don't see this happening though but I'm just a no body who knows nothing. All the signs have pointed to a partnership with Merck so if anything but happens we will all be fooled.
I really do not see them going at it alone. For one they don't have the capital to go at it alone along with keeping everything else in there pipeline moving forward. Punit when asked at Marcum said the soonest revenue would be from partnerhship and royalties. I'm not sure but they would have to enroll what 80-120 persons in this phase IIb trial?
Volume has subsided here. I can only hope that we get a late day push to close above .60. This should be fun moving forward. Finally that excitement and anticipation for the great announcement is back. PARTNERSHIP!!!!
Email received from IR. I thought I would share with the board.
Great to hear from you, thank you for the kind words. Jordyn will be serving as Associate Director, Corporate Communications. In regards to our melanoma combination study, the plan remains to outline our strategy and initiate a combo study in 2014. We cannot divulge a specific date or occasion as to when an announcement pertaining to his study will be made. However, please note that we are confident in our ability to execute on the many milestones we have planned for 2014.
Unless they plan on going at it alone I wouldn't think it would make a difference but what do I know I'm not on the inside. Good stuff though. The longer we have to wait for announcement however leads me to the conclusion that in fact we are going at it alone. I hope we hear something in regards to there strategy soon. In fact I emailed IR but I'm not expecting much.
After reviewing the agenda for the Sach's Forum at the end of the month I believe something of significance will be presented here. First there is a panel discussion which Dr. Pierce will participate in and then 4 hours later he gives a presentation? So I can't wait to watch this presentation via the web. Let's go Onco! Make me rich so I can sit on my a** all day and drink beer.
I'm coming! I will bring the Solo's! Pong it is with some Vodka time to get sloppy!
Close above .58 would be huge!
Can you tell time bro. I love how you post this 30 minutes before the close 2 hours after my original post wanting to see 6 million shares not predicting. Jackas* is that you?
Yes sir I look forward to see tomorrows trading action to see if we rise, hold, or pullback. This afternoon I think will tell a lot. If we close strong with heavy volume then tomorrow should be a good day but if we can't get above .52 then tomorrow we should see a slight pullback before it continues its uptrend.
I like where your head is at. Agree we get our second wind this afternoon. I would love a close around .54 and volume of 6 million shares traded.
Things are far more clearer now than they were in May. N if we don't get data this month I don't think it will dip back down. We are running out of months in the year. They still have so much to report and that is why we won't dip in my opinion. The catalysts that are remaining are game-changers in my opinion. Partnership, New indication, Merkel Cell.
We had a similar breakout on 2/24/14 before we ran all the way to .90. That day we traded over 6.6 million shares. Maybe this is the start of something. At least investors have something to look forward to with conferences and appearances. This should drive interest which will drive slow pps growth.
I agree with all said and in fact any data that is released doesn't have to be released during a conference. Even though that seems to be OncoSec's pattern nothing says they have to release the data or news at a conference.
So here's my prediction we get a PR tomorrow morning outlining our upcoming conferences. What do you guys think?
If you do some DD you guys will find that once again Avatar Dhillion is a director B.C. Advantage Funds who is run by Jim Heppell who also is the CEO of Venturi.
My take once again Punit shows his inexperience. Regardless of this market (MJ)and where its heading it's just not the right time to jump on board with one of these companies. Time and time again Punit has shown his lack of concern for the shareholders. Since I entered a position with OncoSec the only question that comes to mind about my investment is Punit himself. Once again he is successful at that. I laugh everytime I read Punit is an entrepreneur. My opinion he is the luckiest guy ever. As Sal put it I'm here because of the great minds behind this company not because the leadership by the young and inexperienced CEO. My strategy is once she pops I will take profits and watch. Investment never was the potential is there but the inexperience shows.
If it strikes Oct. and we have yet to get back to the .60's then I might dive off the deep end and I can't swim. No not really!
