It may be an ugly PM but really very little volume comsidering the percentage down. IMO, if we don't trade 1M shares and PPHM goes down 10 cents I will not be too concerned. IF we get over 2M shares and down same then my level of disappointment will probably increase. Either way I'm not watching this,or any other stock, today. Too much life out in the real world OFF the computer! IMO! GLTA... carpe diem
Thank you. I sometimes miss things when trying to multi-task i.e. breathe and listen simultaneously...LOL. PR
I wanted to hear "initiate" trial by end of 2013=DONE. 100K per patient was lower than I expected, although I believe that just like renovating a home,if you don't add 15-20% for unknowns/delays you end up being unpleasantly surprised at the end(IMO). What I don't remember hearing(forgive me if I'm just slow) is what the new job postings/hires are for. It seems to me that a few posters here believed,IMO, that new jobs would NOT be for Phase III trial. If they are not for trial what are they hiring(or posting jobs) for? My thinking is if not for trial could they be for possible revenue-generating situation? PPHM still has a lot of ATM available, and I for one, would like them to get cash elsewhere. Final thought...if BOD would not get their options/bonuses would they stop working and say "No bonus,no work."? Just some thoughts from an aging, beat up,well-worn jacket of a man. Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem
biopharm, first let me say I appreciate your enthusiasm for the potential, and I hope, successful introduction of Bavi into the mainstream of cancer fight. But it seems sometimes you bash to the core the drugs that I,as a cancer SURVIVOR, needed to beat back the devil inside and survive. If you are a survivor then your opinion about SOC(at least the way you portray it to me sometimes) is your opinion from personal experience; good for you. If you are not, it may be hard to understand personally how much the doctors, nurses , techs, etc. try to make life nicer as you battle your cancer. We don't all envision the life-saving drugs we get as pollutants and toxins; many of us feel we are getting the best chance to LIVE, to raise our children or hug our wives and still have dreams of growing old together. Would I want better, safer, less intrusive methods for cancer? YOU BET I DO! I have a better than even chance to get my cancer again and I hope,if I'm unlucky enough, that better forms to treat will be available. I just don't want you to bash all methods of treatment as a punishment of deliberate suffering by BP. Without it I would not be here to post this. Keep up your enthusiam and remember life is short so grab a cup. Regards. carpe diem
Yes, I know it is blatantly obvious but I just had to write...this volume stinks. carpe diem
If I'm correct volgoat there was a Director of Quality Assurance, April Loui in 2011. I do not know when ,or why, she departed. She was Googled which took me to Linkedin. carpe diem
Good morning and I agree with your post(per se),but I would like to comment on part of it. Your 'slogan' if you will is "...All In My Opinion.I am not advising anything, nor accusing anyone." Your post contains what one can perceive as direct ADVICE by stating "...STAY AWAY from PPHM OPTIONS(Long Calls or Long Puts).Whether a firm personal belief/reminder of potential repercussions from such actions, is it not up to the individual investor/trader to decide his/her own financial decisions? It just seems to me you state emphatically what we should do,and I was curious if you think that is advising. Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem
Really, it's in the public record. I would have liked PPHM to just put out a positive blurb at the very least. They do have PR capabilities, do they not? It may not have been a material event but it was positive company-wise. carpe diem
Good morning and with all due respect anyone who DOES NOT lawyer up is a fool IMHO! Getting a lawyer does NOT make one guilty. I'm not proclaiming anyone's guilt or innocence but it is our right to ask for counsel. Tell your attorney what you know,or do NOT know, and then let them speak for you or they tell you to speak personally to inquiring parties.... All IMHO! carpe diem
I thought that position sounded familiar and cjgaddy post 70409 has a thorough bio on April Loui hired Oct.2011. I don't know if any turnover between then and now has happened. Anyone confirm/deny? carpe diem
Dear Mr. honestabe13, I was NOT responding to any DewDiligence posts. Please check and find,I believe, my response was to Cloaked Protector. Thank you in advance and have a nice day. PR
Sorry. I was just responding to a post. I don't think I'm late since I read about IT and actually recalled IT! I'm still basking in my memory and you can't take that away from me. Only I can by forgetting what I remembered. Have a good one. PR
I'm not worried but thanks for caring. I'm happy I remembered the statements...lol. At my age ,as a cancer survivor and life survivor, I'm at a place that focuses me on TODAY and I love TODAYS!. I love and I am loved. I woke up on the "right side of the grass"(smile). I can wait for news and decide if I WANT to worry. LOL Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem PR
I be WAY off base but those statements sound conspicuously like the ones used to describe the request denial for shareholder input by owning 25,000(?) shares and being able to ask questions at some conference/meetings(ASM?). I BELIEVE that was a proposal by an IHUB member/poster? Can anyone confirm my thinking...or should I maybe start drinking?! LOL
Mr. wook, still waiing to hear about that prototype arm-gobbling Phase III protector warriorbot! lol. I know it's Summer but let's get cracking. Did your dog eat PPHM's proxy? lol carpe diem PR
cheynew...sorry about delayed reply. Massachusetts. Mom was from Vermont. Both have Goshens. I miss her saying that...smile. I still do all oldie-timer stuff and speak in early 20th century isms...Go PPHM...so hopefully not deleted. No private message yet and did not want to leave it until next Friday's free time. Take care...PR
My two cents for what they're worth. I also believe pps is relevant from an original investment standpoint to belief in said company partnering/being bought out(partial or whole). If PPHM were at $10.00 per share right now AND with their current situation would PPHM share owners stil be inclined to submit to exact same BP numbers for partnership,et al as say PPHM at $1.41? If you see a company you like and believe in, but it trades at 41 cents you can rest assured it will 90% chance go through several rounds of dilution and/or reverse split(s). IMHO...from experience with small bios and 40 years investment gain/heartbreak. That does NOT mean it will fail, just that perception is reality, IMHO. Analysts put ratings/price targets on equities for a reason. I use those as part of my total investment DD. I own 3800 shares @ $1.40. For me, nothing to lose and maybe I get the satisfaction of picking a winner from the ashes(it has happened in the past with huge results). The most disturbing aspect, TO ME, appears to be that PPHM is the only stock some posters own. I hope I'm wrong on that thought. I like enthusiasm but some of this stuff is over the top to ME. GL to all. Life is short so grab a cup. IMHO! carpe diem
Snarky?! I didn't think there were many out in the world that still used that expression besides me. LOL! One of the small tragedies of today besides no more cursive writing, writing any kind of letter and loss of some great old sayings. Peace. Land O' Goshen!
Well, hopefully your broker friends only end up warning you to proceed with caution and don't come back and chide you with "I told you so!" amidst the cautionary tale that is PPHM. IMHO. Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem
I do not know what type of 'incentive' you believe could be offered, although I do not believe you think this would happen, but under NO circumstances should any additional proposal other than trial should be offered, IMO! The potential for calls of impropriety would be resounding, again IMO. Life is short, grab a cup. carpe diem
I think the transition was Tarvacin to Bavi in 2006...IMHO. "What a drag it is getting old." LOL
I believe Peregrine started trading under PPHM on Nov. 7 2000. That book was published by iUniverse.com in 2004. I'm surprised PPHM did not go after them at the time. IMO
That wonderous piece of calamitous drelp was published in March of 2004. Everybody loves the Peregrine. LOL carpe diem
Uh huh. U.S. taxpayer, eh? PPHM indicates they don't have funding for testing, eh? Thanks for the laugh jimsqtx.
I understand about the blinded, etc. I just was asking about tampering, sabotage, dose-switching, et al being more possible with so many sites. I understand about clinical trials and my belief that a lot of this PPHM talk centers around starting with NO partner at a LOT of sites gets the ball rolling faster but the potential for something fishy increases, if the talk of BP/sabotage is correct. I would rather see a slightly longer enrollment period with fewer sits. All IMHO. There is so much speculation. including your posts from today that if even half-true PPHM should be concerned. Thanks for your thoughts. PR
Well, with the oddball(IMO) reporting of BTD by companies, sometimes 60 days after approval I believe we shall know soon enough. I'm not banking on BTD and I'm not writing off Bavi without it. I'm going to ask again if we have 50 sites going for Phase III, and as a lot of posters believe there is sabotage afoot, how does PPHM try to ensure no hijinks during pivotal Phase III? Is there some place I can find accredited sites for PPHM trial? The FDA is an overwhelmed agency, IMO, I don't know how they keep a watchful eye and investigative ear to every trial out there. Life is short, grab a handful. carpe diem
I hope it does not take as long to post wooks at those sites than it did to build that swingset...LOL Ripping off arms...novel approach. carpe diem
A few questions running through my head on this rainy day. Quite a few post here that the proposed 600 patient enrollment could be enrolled possibly much faster due to the large quantity of enrollment sites available(and sanctioned?). But how much more money would it cost PPHM to run 50,75 or even 100 sites? And if there is clear evidence of dose switching at CSM how does PPHM protect itself against other hanky-panky at so many sites? I am also in the camp they do not go it alone. Life is short. carpe diem
"...not the concierge :)" LOL. I don't think requests were being made for theater tickets and dinner reservations at a restaurant with a 6 month waiting list. I believe EVERY shareholder holds value and unless questions posted are ridiculous should be answered at some point. Do you think IR receives 10 e-mails a day, 50, 100? Do they get that many every day? I understand it is not their job to stare at a monitor or wait by the phone for every question to come. I don't hate IR I just think they can do better...it is a public trading company. Like your posts and carpe diem. Oh yeah, ALL IMHO.
It's been so long since I asked IR about the employee situation, for which I received NO reply, I wonder if IR is possibly not CK's forte. It does not matter, IMO, how many calls and e-mails IR receives, is it not the job description? Some firms actually PR less than 'breaking news' to let investors know how the company is doing. If they can afford corporate sponsorship, attend multiple conferences and hire a dozen or more positions how about another IR positon to answer simple questions...NOT company secrets, before anyone states I want specific corporate secrets. A lot of small bios suffer from this; much to the chagrin of retail holders. Anyway, my two cents. Life is short and I'm off and runnibg. carpe diem
Dude, I could have totally been it for that gig. Ride gnarly waves and sip some brewskies. Maybe have a fine fox for a secretary skiddle up some PRs twice a year. Rad. I wonder if he has to get up before noon? Dude!
It is my understanding you were the author? If so, YOU are solely responsible for making the Russell? Seriously?! If I'm mistaken I apologize profusely. If my assumption is correct...check NARCISSISM. eom
Although I agree they can vary wildly from firm to firm, they ALL use them. They are part of that firm's belief in that stock. I don't rest my hat on any one item in analyst ratings but just as 'overweight', et al is used so is the price target. Just asking because quite a few posters lately keep bringing up PJ/Charles Duncan and that is part of his analysis. No biggie. Thanks for your reply.
Yesterday I brought up the Piper Jaffray (Charles Duncan) price target. I believe it is $2.50, the same as when PPHM was first initiated by PJ. They are a solid firm with credible analysts. You state "Piper Jaffray thinks in the next 6 months." Where is the price target INCREASE? Seriously, a simple PR stating PJ has raised its' price target to $X.XX would do wonders IMHO> It would not be a sleazy ploy but a verification of hopefully expected 'deal(s)'. Maybe I'm wrong but I've owned a ton of bios and this simple gesture works. Anyway my question for the day. GL carpe diem
I believe we get your drift as far as the intention of those purchases. Seriously though...how many hundreds of thousands of shares are you expecting people (who already own shares) to buy? Shorts know how many shares are being purchased and at what price. If you want to step up and buy 300,000 shares above the ask I'll be the first to congratulate your moxy. I believe news MOVES. Good luck. carpe diem
Exactly my point! If 99.99% chance IF it were true it would NEVER be found out then how can anyone even speculate about this? I know all about meanderings and wishful thinking on achingly slow journeys(PPHM PPS) but that is just...I don't know. 18 holes of hilarity with my brothers. Enjoy your day all. Life is short. carpe diem
Well, if anyone can show me proof that Roche entity is buying shares to stockpile so they can take over PPHM I would be the first to congratulate that poster on incredible sleuthing. Until then why is this particular topic so prevalent? "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas." Don Meredith. carpe diem
The only bus I missed was Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters IH bus. PPHM is more row boat with one oar. Hopefully, everything will work out the way it's supposed to. carpe diem
I would like to think that Piper Jaffray(Charles Duncan) would give a little pump up to that price target. I don't think it has changed... or has it?
The ONLY questions, Gracie? A dearth of questions leads to ignorance. IMHO.
