Once again AVT is here to stay..
You do understand how big this is?? AVT's patent (U.S. Patent Number 8,191,779), was recently upheld and found enforceable by the U.S. Patent Office. Subsequently, AVT began the process of providing these patented services to their customer base, as well as bringing other manufacturers and operators into compliance through licensing arrangements.
Currently, it is conservatively estimated that there are over 5.5 million vending machines being used across the United States. According to the Vending MarketWatch 2012 State of the Industry Report, an estimated 3.7% of vending systems in the U.S. are cashless systems – the type that would fall under AVT's patent. This market of roughly 200,000 machines is AVT's current universe of systems that are likely infringing on their patent and are candidates for licensing.

AVT, Inc.

James Winsor, CEO of AVT, stated that the company now plans on bringing most, if not all of those 200,000+ machines into compliance. "We are in the process of offering a license to use our technology to the larger companies in this industry," he stated. AVT Recommended in Seeking Alpha Story
"The Majors are Lining Up for Automated Retailing"
AVT, Inc. (OTC Markets: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com), a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they have been recommended in a story on the automated retailing industry in Seeking Alpha.
The article discussed the new Rug Doctor Automated Centers in Walmart stores, which allow customers to rent, checkout and return a carpet-cleaning unit, and not have to wait for or flag down a store employee for assistance.
"Today, you can walk right up to the automated system that are inside many Walmart stores, insert your credit card, and within seconds, a door magically opens and the system is available for you to take. No lines, no fuss, no waiting," the story stated.
AVT is the developer and manufacturer of these innovative Rug Doctor Rental Centers.
"AVT is one of the leaders in designing and manufacturing automated retailing systems of all kinds. This is the company that not only figured out how to automate the carpet-cleaning rental process, but has also given the world incredible new systems that include automated prescription medicine dispensing, Mountain Dew plastic bottle recycling centers, the Kardashian sisters' cosmetics store, the now world-famous Beverly Hills cupcake and caviar systems, and the Blue Rhino automated propane tank exchange centers, just to name a few," the article stated.
According to Seeking Alpha, the two leaders in the automated retailing industry are Coinstar (CSTR) and AVT, but contend that Coinstar – who owns the Redbox systems and is selling at around $55 a share has most of it's growth behind it, while AVT at a few bucks a share "could be the next Coinstar."
Seeking Alpha also stated that AVT's patented technology could be a "game changer" in the industry, as "it covers a basic technology that most of the industry already uses or needs to use," and compared AVT's recent growth to "Winning the Super Bowl and the World Series combined."

AVT's Patent Found Valid and Enforceable
AVT, Inc. (OTC Markets: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com), a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they received Notice of Intent to Issue Reexamination Certificate for AVT's core wireless vending control patent, U.S. Patent Number 8,191,779, which was put under reexamination in Fall 2012. The Notice indicates a number of claims were found patentable. Company officials expressed their satisfaction that the patent office validated the novelty of AVT's technology.
Currently, it is estimated that there are over eight million vending machines being used across the United States. As such, the vending machine industry is the largest cash business in the U.S. and the most pervasive retail channel with the highest number of locations. However, unlike other leading industries, vending machines are the only retail channel that does not universally accept credit or debit card payments. Only two to three percent of machines accept cashless payment.
Historically, vending machine owners were plagued with problems accepting credit and debit cards because of a lack of reliable communication between credit card machines and servers. Consequently, transaction times were long and sometimes unreliable. In addition, there was no convenient way to supplement unit sales with advertising revenues. It is estimated that the addition of reliable credit card acceptance methods would increase vending machine sales by up to 40 percent. Moreover, industry experts say that the addition of cashless payment technology, such as the ones offered by AVT in its new patent, would allow owners of vending machines to offer higher-end merchandise, increase total sales per customer, enhance brand image, and improve revenues.
Based in Corona, California, AVT is the leading developer of automated and self-service retailing systems. AVT Giving Away a Free Marley Coffee Store and a Trip for 2 to Jamaica, Winner will visit the Marley Family Farm.
AVT a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they are giving away a free Marley Coffee Automated Store and a free trip to Jamaica.
The contest is called "Win a Store, Win a Trip" because the winner not only receives a free Marley Coffee Automated Store, but also will receive a free trip to Jamaica, where they will learn about the heritage of the coffee business, sustainability, and organic methods on the Marley Family Farm.
Rohan Marley, son of legendary musician Bob Marley, said, "It was always my father's dream to return to farming one day." Now, with Marley Coffee, he has fulfilled that dream. From the family's 52-acre private estate sitting atop the Blue Mountains in Chepstowe, Jamaica - long revered as the region with the world's most desirable coffee beans – the dream of Marley Coffee comes alive.
AVT is an exclusive partner to Marley Coffee, and has designed and manufactured an unique, upscale, automated coffee kiosk, which provides freshly ground and brewed coffees at a touch of a button. The Marley Automated Cafes provide entrepreneurs a low-cost, turnkey business that can start returning profits immediately.
The automated, self-service sector is exploding, according to a report in Investor's Business Daily. The publication stated that the industry will reach $1.1 trillion by 2015, using projections compiled by the IHL Group. Coffee, the second largest commodity in the world (second only to oil), is consumed by millions of people every day – which is why being in the coffee business can be so lucrative.
"The Marley Automated Cafes are the way of the future," according to Shannon Illingworth, AVT Founder and Chairman. "Why put up a large retail store like Starbucks - with all the associated overhead – when you can produce a better tasting cup of all-natural Marley gourmet coffee, espresso or cappuccino, and place these self-service cafes virtually anywhere? We can put a beautiful Marley Coffee Automated Cafe almost everywhere that people congregate - even in places that could never hold a Starbucks, like office and apartment buildings, college campuses, and hotel lobbies, to name a few."
To help one lucky entrepreneur, AVT is giving away an automated Marley Coffee Cafe as well as a free trip to Jamaica, which will include a visit the Marley family farm. "We want the owner of this Marley Coffee Automated Cafe to learn about the history of Marley Coffee, their approach to sustainability, and the wonderful, organic methods used to grow this gourmet coffee," Illingworth said.
To enter the contest, entrants must "Like us" on the AVT Facebook page (www.facebook.com/AVTInc), then visit www.marleycoffeebusiness.com/contest and write a short essay (200 words or less) about why they think they should be awarded the free Marley Coffee Kiosk. Entrants should write a bit about themselves, describe where they would place the automated cafe, and note how they feel they could champion sustainability in their community with the Marley Coffee Automated Cafe. Winner will be selected based on the quality and content of their essay.
The winner will receive a free Marley Coffee Automated Store, and an all-expenses paid trip to Jamaica. Contest runs from April 15 - July 1, 2013. All entries must be received by COB 7/1/13.
To enter, go to: www.marleycoffeebusiness.com/contest and follow the directions.
Contest void where prohibited by law.
AVT's Patent Found Valid and Enforceable Upon Reexamination
AVT a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they received Notice of Intent to Issue Reexamination Certificate for AVT's core wireless vending control patent, U.S.
Its large portfolio of products includes fully automated "Micro-Stores," automated retailing systems, Marley Coffee Automated Cafes, Utique Stores and technologies, and custom solution services for the automated dispensing of items as diverse as prescription medicine, fresh-squeezed juices, gourmet coffees and cupcakes, premium caviar, healthcare items, office supplies, Kardashian cosmetics, perfumes, and high-end merchandise. AVT Signs Deal to Grant Exclusive Territory Rights of Marley Coffee Micro Stores in Las Vegas
AVT a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they have reached a deal to grant exclusive rights to the innovative Marley Coffee Micro Stores in the Las Vegas market to Cupful, Inc. The deal requires Cupful to purchase 300 Marley Coffee automated systems from AVT, which will provide AVT about $2,500,000.00 in new revenues.
Cupful CEO Tammy Starring also owns one of the top producing Quiznos stores in the nation, as well as several other ventures. "I saw the opportunity with the Marley coffee stores, and I was impressed for three reasons," she stated. "The Marley name is branded. The machines ease of use, size and technology. And the ability to sell advertising," she stated. "It's a great business model with unlimited potential," she added. "I was also impressed with the character and integrity of the individuals at AVT. It is important to me to be involved with people of integrity both in life and in business."
AVT management met with Starring at the recent NAMA show. "We are extremely gratified to be partnered with Tammy and Cupful, Inc.," Shannon Illingworth, Founder and Chairman of AVT stated. "Virtually every automated retailing opportunity under the sun was on display at the NAMA show, and to have generated so much interest and closed so many deals while our competitors were literally all around us, really validated our technology, our products, and the quality of our personnel."
AVT introduced the second-generation Marley Coffee Micro Stores at the NAMA Show. The systems are the world's first touch-screen interactive automated cafes that can deliver a freshly ground and brewed cup of gourmet Marley coffee, espresso or cappuccino, in less than a minute. Some of the Micro Stores also will feature Marley accessories, cups, and both ground and whole bean coffee in a variety of blends.
"Marley Coffee is a strong brand that is gaining immense popularity," Illingworth stated. "Marley's CEO recently announced that they have expanded distribution and will be in Kroger's - the nation's largest grocery chain, so people will be able to enjoy the great Marley flavor at home and when on the road, at work, at school, or in an airport through our automated Micro Stores," he added. "We believe that the once people try Marley Coffee, they will be a dedicated customer for life – which helps build business for our automated Micro Stores."
Each Marley Coffee Micro Store is currently generating about $1500 - $2000 a month in sales, providing a return on investment (ROI) in less than one year.
This is a substantial contract for both AVT and for Marley Coffee - who projects this deal will provide over one million a year in new sales for their parent company – Jammin Java.

AVT Recommended in Seeking Alpha Story
"The Majors are Lining Up for Automated Retailing"
a technology leader in developing automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores, announced that they have been recommended in a story on the automated retailing industry in Seeking Alpha.
